And wrapped himself around her body, fusing with it like any other of his shadows would.
Look at Sunny feeling Saint's entire body, what kind of intimacy is that? Imagine if he were still a Nephis slave and did that to her body? blushed very-shy thrill

I was about to think that Sunny had finally become strong. But no, he was still the weakest of the strong. Mordreth creates great monsters and saints, this girl wields true darkness. Not the main character, but a complete disappointment

Mordret is unfair to compare to basically anyone, his powers have always been kind of dumb in how incredibly inconsistent they are strength-wise, but true darkness has been the biggest counter to shadows for as long as we've known it's a thing really.

I'm not a fan of this fight either, though I get there is a purpose to it, but Revel having an aspect that's an awful matchup for him is fine. It being multiplied into such complete suppression is what makes it lame, at least to me.

I think it's fair to compare Mordreth to Sunny. Their aspects are mostly non-combat-oriented, and are geared toward utility. But the way Sunny is both bad at fighting single, strong enemies and hordes of weaker ones is disappointing to me.. While Mordreth looks like a natural disaster for both the strong and the hordes. While Sunny and Mordreth have a much deeper understanding of their aspects and are cunning, Sunny is far from Mordreth's level. It's very disappointing that the only one who has common parallels in strength and abilities is so much superior to the main character.

And yes, I agree that at some point there should have been a high-level True Darkness enemy, but the battle itself was very disappointing because Sunny was completely unprepared for it. He encountered the swarm in Antarctica and passed through the Empty Mountains, but he was completely unprepared to confront the absolute darkness. Previously, he prepared and calculated his plans and tricks, but this duel and the fact that the Saint was able to seize the initiative looks like deus ex machina

You tripping. There's only 6 people in two worlds that even stand a chance against Sunny. And excluding the sovereigns, he's got a fair chance of beating them too.

wait, it just hitted me Shadow god control the domain of death, does that mean when the gods and daemons died they were also a part of his domain and since he was a god he might able to use their all aspects and attributes to full potential and if so he is easily the strongest character by far in the series...

I don't think so. It was said that the gods created Death as a weapon, and given the mechanics of Sunny's ability, the Shadow God should directly influence the death of another God. Moreover, the Beast God wields the power of the cycle of life and death. So I don't think the Shadow God is that powerful.

I think its more like beast god decides who will die and who will be born more like grim reaper, while shadow god is god of death where the dead rest in his realm, more like owner of hell where dead remains...

I think that's Sunny's answer to Supremacy and perhaps the next step of her Aspect Legacy:

He has to become a Shadow. I think that's because:

    1) When he becomes a shadow, instead of becoming stronger as the Divine Shadow he is, he weakens and takes soul damage, and that's because being a shadow is the form of her soul. Her true body is that of a human, and that's perhaps the next step of her Aspect Legacy: it's made for shadows, not the limited bodies of humans.
    2) Her future self in the estuary told her that "I'm not even alive," even though he was already as powerful as Sunny felt.

I think that's the most likely scenario, but how exactly will Sunny become a shadow in the full sense of the word? Will she commit suicide? Or does she have to do something else first?

shadow dance is not about sunny himself but about him becoming someone else. a literal shadow of them. being an actual shadow might help in shadow dance but certainly should not help him advance. and he arleady does this when he goes into shadow shell. he becomes a shadow and then turns himself tangible.
