    Ok so , i liked the fight . I have one thing i don't like: mordret. 1. He has practically infinite reflections. If reflections die , he can create new ones , since all he needs to do is to eat soul shards , and there you have it , another transcendent beast reflection. And since song is a big clan , they would have literally infinite amount of shards. 2. He is immortal. He can die physically and then just live in reflections and take on peoples bodies. 3. Somehow he has gone through an anti divination ritual, which no character ever has done , except sunny , because of that everyone has forgotten him though 4. His flaw is still inexistent. Its somehow somewhere else. 5. Even if they would try to find him , there is really no need for him to do anything but just run , and on the run just spam reflections. He also would run away much better than anyone , since he can jump through reflections. 6. He now can control multiple saints of Night + their citadels. 7. Had unlimited skill + talent + smarter than every character in this novel. 8. Somehow wins against morgan, whos stronger than him , because "he insane , he win. Ooga booga". All im saying is, he can win easily, and even if he loses, he doesnt receive any damage , and can just recreate his force , while being on the other side of the world.

      1. yeah the reflections are really op since he effectively only needs to get like 100 or so easy kills for 1000 souls hards but keep in mind that they are essentially at the level of nightmare creatures but with an aspect (nephis herself commented she was confident to beat the 2 reflections if she succeeded in killing that one woman)
      2. and 5. yeah hes immortal its too broken
      3. was it a ritual? could have just been a memory like weavers mask. maybe cassie knows more since she orchestrated it for him to get it
      4. the author will probably tell us about his flaw soon enough
      6. yeah thats broken too but sunny can also control as many citadels as he has soul cores, same with him having multiple bodies (though they share the same soul arsenal and essence pool) so i guess theyre both broken
      7. he has a very good aspect and he is cunning like sunny if thats what you mean but thats not a bad if anything it makes the novel more exciting
      8. this was an asspull we all agree on that though looking back maybe the author was experimenting with this entire "will" thing

    I don't understand why people say this is a loss for valor, like yeah they lost 10 saints but weaker ones and gain a citadel, and i think neph an sunny count for like 10 saints each , and saint and fiend another 10, yeah mordret has a lot of reflection and saints but sunny himself is 7 saints and of the strongest kind and her shadows too, if revel wasn't help by the reflection sunny alone will woop her around an she IS the strongest song and hard counter sunny, like sunny struggle because the multiple true darkness cast by the reflections

    As of considering current situation Song is literally crushing Valor, Mordret is dominating both Nephis and Sunny in terms of power and mindplay, Valor almost lost 7 saints in this fight they are already 20 saints behind Song considering mordy control over storm sea and saints of house of night and now it is close to a gap of 30 saints the Valor clan is surronded on both sides of Godgrave and storm sea and till now what did Song clan lost 3 reflections only which Mordret can rebuild...

    Actually this kind of brings me to another theory of mine, I think the gateways that draw upon the power structures around them, are artificial gateways fashioned by people in realms infected by the nightmare spell before they were brought into the dream realm, and then co-opted by the nightmare spell when the realm was fully infected.
