      This is fun indeed, but the despair and helplessness did not last long enough. The main character has really grown, sunny use to suffer against foes like LO49, Goliath, and Soul devouring tree, those chapters had me on the egde of my seat, the fight versus fiend was also great

        The problem that Sunny is one of the strongest in the Human part of the verse, and can escape from most of Dangerous Nightmare Creatures. But I hope after the war Dream God start to wake up and there would be more pressure in the air.

          True. At the start, sunny was too weak and still finding out how his abilities worked, so he mostly used his cunning and wits for guerilla tactics or escape.
          Afterwards, he grew accustomed to his abilities as well as developed his own technique, merging them together to form a fatal art. At this point, almost nobody could truly challenge him like before, which would force him to create inventive and innovative forms of attacking and combat. After all, his sword and tenacity were enough forna vast majority of his opponents to die.
          Now, we finally see him face a challenge he hasn't experienced in a long while, which would probably propel him to greater heights once more.

          The point here is that, while it is teue that sunny constantly faced life and death situations before, he thrived in them, growing and absorbing everything like a sponge. So when he finally became strong enough that he seldom faced challenges, his growth slowed to an almost stop. But he now has the odds against him once more, so that stahlgnation will start flowing again.

    Hopefully Saint will get to evolve to supreme class by consuming this true darkness user's core.       Не думаю, у домена сонг тоже есть умные ребята и санни не единственный обладатель теневого аспекта, может быть они узнали о слабостях теней от других теневых пробуждëнных ну или как вариант из испытания кашмара, попали в прошлое и там набрали информации
