      Could you explain your line of reasoning? because throughout the entire chapter Victor was never praised for his intelligence or anything like that. Alexios was just surprised that he had a mindset that someone his age shouldn't have, where he constantly compared Victor and Vlad.

        I mean how many times has it been mentioned in the novel that he is a natural king. And my point wasnt about people praising victors intellegence.We already have enough of everyone sucking his dick when they learn of his strength. My main point was that we get these conversations like this that really try to be philosophical but ultimately fail. The same thing happened in the chapter that talks about the rules. Even tho how it was set up was good the actual heart of the topic was stupid.

          My guy I don't want to be part of your fight with the others but I just want to correct you for something, the mindset that the author and that Alexios is talking about is that he is willing to ask for help from his trusted people like Scathach and his Wives who he knows are also capable enough to think of a solution to the problems that may occur, not like Vlad who doesn't even consider the suggestions and the advise that Alexios is giving him due to his mentality that because he is old he knows what is right and wrong and thus his opinion is the best.

      Imo Victor is not smart or stupid, Victor follows his own rules to get what he wants, he likes fighting and seems to enjoy causing chaos for his enemies, it would feel off if Victor actually did give a intellectual response.
