"Same arrangement as the last time. Hopefully, no Ga… actually, never mind. I'm not saying it aloud. Just do well, and do not die."

Sunny is finally learning the most important thing in this story. That you should never jinx anything especially if you have the [fated] attribute

The latest story is that there is a shadow wraith stalking the city, hiding somewhere in the darkness. Apparently, it lures people away from light, never to be seen again.
The sunny nightmare? Hopefully it's him, and that he dies when he finds Sunny again. bond

Was just thinking. If the Scavengers can become shadow monsters through eating Sunny’s flesh, can he feed them and then farm them for fragments? Also, is it possible for nightmare creature to reproduce, and if so, can they be farmed for crystals, memories, and echos? The only instance of nightmare reproduction that I can recall are the vines from the second nightmare that were born from the Immortal’s blood mixed with ashes.

What he did know, though, was that Rain would have been dead if not for his return. If Sunny had not been there to hold back the tide of Nightmare Creature advancing on her school, his sister would have been ripped apart by the rampaging abominations.

    Nobody falling for this

Falling for what? It was just an example of life being unpredictable, something awful leading to him being able to avoid some other awful thing, despite them being completely unrelated. I honestly don't even know what you're being so touchy about.

What are you talking about? Is your reading comprehension really this bad? I really don't think what he's saying is that hard to understand.

No, I get that you're just seething about Cass again, but I genuinely have no idea why you replied to me with a weird fake quote, or how you'd manage to misunderstand what you quoted originally that badly.

Sunny thinking it's good that his sister is not dead is not the same as him thinking it's good that Cass took his choice away from him, even if one did technically lead to the other.
He's commenting on life being unpredictable, and you're apparently interpreting it as him being happy he was unwillingly turned into a slave, somehow.

Disliking a character is whatever, but there's really nothing to "fall for" here man.

Yeah you are just looking at facevalue here, these tiny little statements written by the author throughout the novel after the forgotten shore are meant to control our view on the whole betrayal in the forgotten shore such as mordret using his true name and now rain would have died if not for him being enslaved, its subtle but it works just like how it has worked on countless fans, not me tho

You've gotta be insecure about something if you're this worried about a web novel trying to get you to understand something about ITSELF.

G3 isin't trying to say that sunny is starting to view his enslavement as a good thing, no, he still hates it. Sunny is simply saying that there are other unexpected outcomes from Cassie having done what she had done.

Also, you're life would be much more happier if you let things go bro.

I think there is some subjectivity on the topic. As you said in other replies the author clearly wants people to be sympathetic towards Cassie but people still aren't to this day. You think she was or at least should have been aware of how Fate and her ability worked by the time she gave Sunny's name over to Nephis, other people don't, they think she only understood it all after the mistake she made giving Sunny's name up. Just depends on how you look at it, and it's pretty subjective cause G3 doesn't tell us how well Cassie understands stuff.

Well we already know that she was aware how it worked atleast regarding the fact that she can't change it due to her multiple tries before yet she still gave it
