    What is author even trying to say with this argument, why bring it up? Like it's ok to let go, to forgive and trust somebody who betrayed/backstabbed you once, just because it unexpectedly turned out alright(because author willed so). You don't judge the deed based on the result. If you forgave your cheating wife, be prepared for her to cheat on you again. What is to stop cassie from from choosing nephis over sunny again, if she betrayed her friend once, then she has it in her to do it once again.
