Chapter 1316: The Treasure Vault of the Demon Warrior Guild

The moment those words left the Grand Elder’s lips, Su Jingzhen froze again.

A prophecy from ancient times?

That was almost too terrifying to fathom!

Countless eons ago, the Demon God had foreseen everything unfolding now.

He’d even predicted Su Jingzhen would become this so-called "Envoy"?

A sudden unease gripped Su Jingzhen’s heart.

Why did it feel like he was just a piece on someone else’s chessboard?

A mere pawn.

Even with the System, he remained an ant—easily crushed by the truly powerful with a flick of their fingers.

But before he could linger on the thought, the Grand Elder of the Demon Warrior Guild fixed him with a gaze brimming with fervor.

"Lord Envoy, now that you’ve arrived, please guide the Demon Warrior Guild’s next steps. Once, we had members who reached the Demon King Realm, but times have changed. That realm has been lost to us for years. Though we still hold prestige in the Molou Realm, our influence isn’t what it once was."

The six elders’ eyes shone with boundless anticipation.

Su Jingzhen shook his head gently. "By now, you must realize my strength is only at the second stage of the Demon Marquis Realm. Though the Demon God entrusted me with a mission, I’m still growing. I don’t want my identity broadcasted far and wide.

As I told the Fire Pupil Demon King, I wish to quietly hone myself under the name Jingzhen, acting as the Demon God’s eyes in the mortal realm. When the time ripens, I’ll aid in ushering his return. Do you understand?"

The six elders’ expressions flickered briefly, but they nodded in agreement.

They didn’t know the specifics of the Demon God’s instructions, but Su Jingzhen’s identity was undeniable. The mark on his brow stirred awe and trepidation in them.

"Then how can the Demon Warrior Guild assist you, Lord Envoy?" the Grand Elder asked again.

Su Jingzhen’s mind sparked with an idea.

If they were offering help, he certainly had something in mind.

The Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss needed to grow quickly, and what it craved most were treasures rich with profound Dao resonance.

The Demon Warrior Guild, entrenched in the central region, oversaw countless daily gambling battles. Wealth flowed through their hands like a river. Though each demon arena was backed by Demon King Realm forces, the guild held stakes in every one.

Across the Molou Realm, their riches were unrivaled.

Yet, their deep ties with major powers kept them untouchable—no one dared strike at the Demon Warrior Guild.

Their treasure vault, then, likely brimmed with unimaginable wealth.

Seeing the elders’ earnest faces, Su Jingzhen saw no need for excessive courtesy.

Without hesitation, he said, "In that case, take me to the Demon Warrior Guild’s treasure vault. Let me have a look."

He was certain it held great rewards.

The six elders blinked, momentarily surprised, but quickly recovered. "Lord Envoy, please follow us."

Su Jingzhen smiled and added, "One more thing—when others are around, call me ‘Young Friend Jingzhen.’ ‘Lord Envoy’ clashes with my wish to stay low-key. Treat me as an ordinary Seventh Elder."

"We humbly obey your command, Lord Envoy!"

Soon, the six elders led Su Jingzhen to the guild’s treasure repository.

Before them stood a massive bronze gate, etched with endless mysterious runes.

Abruptly, the overwhelming auras of the six elders—all ninth-stage Demon Marquis—surged forth. Each cast a mystical spiritual seal, pressing it onto the gate.

The runes flared to life.

With a tremor, the bronze gate split open, sliding to either side.

An ancient aura poured out, thick and enveloping.

Su Jingzhen’s mind quivered involuntarily.

"Lord Envoy, please enter," the Grand Elder said. "Take anything useful to you. This vault has been sealed for ages—its contents mean little to us."

The Demon Warrior Guild’s wealth was so vast that ordinary treasures held no value. Over time, they’d simply amassed more and more.

Su Jingzhen nodded, showing no hesitation, and stepped inside.

The six elders remained at the entrance, watching him go.
