Book 4 - Journey to the Bees Author's Note Compendium

Ah, the non-bees are finally realizing their non-bee-ness. Perhaps they will learn to be a bit more beelike from now on. For surely the non-bees can’t do much that the bees can’t do better. Haha. Definitely not. That would just be unthinkable. Haha.

Anyways!

Will the karnuq learn to be more beelike? Can they add something to the hive of hives that the bees cannot? How many more karnuq will bumblebee soldier tackle? Tune in next time, to find out!

Ahhhh. Finally. Bees. Bees and flowers. Not a non-bee in sight…we’ll count the King as an honorary bee.

…we’ve had far too much silly non-bee shenanigans recently, but it’s time to get back to what’s truly important.

Anyways!

What will result from the cross-pollination efforts? Which flowers will take root first? Do the dangerous karnuq’s methods have any merits after all? Tune in next time, to find out!

…for once, Tyhgak made the right choice. We still haven’t forgotten your foolish disregard of bees, silly non-bee, but we will consider that you have now noticed the error of your ways. Only time will tell if you can become sufficiently bee-like. In fact, we’ll have to see if any of these silly nonbees can become sufficiently bee-like to justify all this precious honey we’re spending on them…

Anyways!

Will Metsaitti and Paloiku survive their trial? What will happen when Noigakkuq eats straight-up poison? Will any of the nonbees grow a bit more bee-like? Tune in next time, to find out!

Ah, silly non-bees, requiring so much help to do what the Third of the Sixth already did. Ah well, guess the Conduit and the King will have to cover for them. At least we know the bees can handle it, so guess they should be able to help the non-bees through it too. Silly non-bees, being so attached to their silly non-bee forms. This would far easier if you would just curl up into a cell and build a new form, you know!

Anyways!

What will be the end result of this process? Has Metsaitti successfully passed the trial of fire? What was the Tower message Belissar ignored? Tune in next time, to find out!

Good, good. Let the bee flow through you, Metsaitti. This is far better than the pure fire you were planning on! See, Beero agrees!

And Juosiutik, you have helped raise a new bee. That is an acceptably bee-like work, well done. Guess that’s why the God of Bees approved of you!

Now let’s just hope the non-bees keep up the bee-ness going forward!

Anyways!

What sort of blessing does Metsaitti have now? What sort of recipes will Juosiutik and the First of the Fifth’s Third Daughter come up with? How will Beero respond to this news? Tune in next time, to find out!

As requested by one of the Patreon readers, a POG for the trial by fire. That was passed by bees! Thus why the God of Fire has started to realize his mistake of not prioritizing bees. Not to worry, best dungeon master will help you correct this!

And no, the God of Fire definitely isn’t ignoring anything going on up there!

Anyways!

What deeds will the God of Bees’ and God of Fire’s first joint-champion achieve? Will the God of Bees suffer any consequences for this move? Will the God of Fire get his mead? Tune in next time, to find out!

Ah, silly nonbees, and silly God of Fire. Why have your followers set themselves on fire when you could have them do work instead? In addition to the noticeably lower casualty rate, they get stuff done at the same time. It’s win-win!

I guess we can’t all be efficient bees, though. Sigh.

Oh, and I guess there’s a lot of Tower Guards or something. That’s, like, a lot of nonbees, huh. Hope they don’t want screentime or something like that, we’ve had too much nonbee-ness as it is!

Anyways!

Will Belissar figure out what the new mission is supposed to be? Will the karnuq figure out how to honor the God of Bees? Can Belissar’s Tower prepare for all those non-bees before they arrive? Tune in next time, to find out!

That’s right, Belissar, disregard the nonbees! Don’t you know you’re already the best dungeon master? The bees have proclaimed it so! You should’ve just asked the bees to begin with, instead of those silly nonbees!

Thank bee-ness Chief Rohsuak understands! We may make you an honorary bee yet, chief!

Anyways!

Can Belissar find his own ways to match the Tower Lords? Will the karnuq learn true beekeeping? How will the bees respond to the King’s call for growth? Tune in next time, to find out!

Ah yes. The strongest karnuq warrior nearly dies eating the fire honey…and Beero’s response is “that’s a good idea!” And then, of course, it is a good idea, because Beero is not a silly non-bee and so can totally handle it. Chief Rohsuak should have focused on the bees indeed.

Because surely nothing bad is happening, right? Beero’s a bee after all, so she must have done something amazing and bee-like…right?

Anyways!

Was Beero right to emulate the silly non-bee? Will there be consequences to filling her body with both fire and lightning? What exactly happened at the end? Tune in next time, to find out!

Well done, Beero. Enjoy the new wings, you've earned them.

I thought a lot about how we might address Beero's wings, whether that be through healing, or finding alternative flight methods, or just permanently riding the bumblebees. But in the end, it's hard to argue that an evolution wouldn't also heal the wings, given the whole "already magically remolding her body" thing. And, thematically, invertebrates with exoskeletons generally heal injuries via molting and such methods, so, like, monster bees getting healed during evolutions feels right.

The important thing is that Beero can fly again! And has found her role in the hive of hives!

Anyways!

How will Beero's new evolution impact the hive of hives? Will she be able to guide the others along her path? What will she do with her new abilities? Tune in next time, to find out!

Wait, can they do that? Just decide someone is a queen now? What about the whole raising brood thing?

…oh, right. The King somehow got the ability to raise bees and build hives like a queen should, despite being a non-bee drone. And, I guess in a way Beero is raising useful bees from bees that are otherwise not useful so in a way she’s increasing the size of the soldier bee army like a queen should?

Eh, close enough for the bees then close enough for me!

Anyways!

Is Belissar’s Tower ready for a new expansion? Will the wounded soldiers safely evolve? How will the Memorial Hive function with a queen that is not a queen? Tune in next time, to find out!

That’s right, Belissar! If the non-bees want to enjoy the fruits of bee labor, they had better work for it! Unlike Velebee, who as a bee may enjoy the fruits of the hive of hives any time she wishes. Once, you know, she stops cowering in her hive from all the magical giants flying around.

Anyways!

Will the First of the Ninth approve of any of the karnuq’s beehouses? Can the karnuq learn the true art of beekeeping? Will Velebee come to understand this whole hive of hives thing? Tune in next time, to find out!

Oh hey. It’s what’s her name. The non-bee I threw in just to give us some variety in dungeon masters. And now she’s, like, on a quest or something.

But that quest is to find bees so she is now a character of utmost importance. Go, Tarwantrad! We’re rooting for you! Know that the God of Flowers definitely has a great and far-sighted reason to issue you this quest, so tarry not in fulfilling it!

Anyways!

Will Tarwantrad find a way past the Hunger? Will she be able to fulfill the mission from the God of Flowers? For what great and far-sighted reason did the God of Flowers issue this quest? Tune in next time, to find out!

See, Metsaitti? It’s not that hard! All you gotta do is be like a bee! See, Belissar can do it, and he was just some random peasant! Well, guess that’s why King is best king! The most bee-like of the bunch.

Speaking of non-bees, oh yeah, there were those other non-bees. Who haven’t been mentioned since, like, last book or something. Meh, too often in my opinion but I guess they have stuff we want or something. They better have brought something for the bees!

Anyways!

Will the karnuq beekeepers all make happy homes for the bees? How will the other non-bees respond to the news of other non-bees? Will Belissar and Niobee master the secrets of bee magic? Tune in next time, to find out!

Battlecasters and happy healed soldiers, get! And that means it’s time for a purification!

…maybe the traps could use a review. But ah well. Traps aren’t bees, which by definition means they are non-bees and therefore silly. It is therefore silly to worry about such things. The shade sure didn’t…

Anyways!

Can the brave bees…and I guess the silly non-bees helping them…stop the shade? What surprises does this shade have in store? Should best dungeon master review those silly traps? Tune in next time, to find out!

…you know, Hunger, when I was complaining about your poor win rate, I was mostly referring to the non-bees. We don’t mind at all if you lose constantly and easily against bees. So, you know, don’t feel the need to step up or anything. Be a good, easy to defeat extinction-level calamity, please.

Please.

Anyways…

Will the wounded make it through? Will the successful expansion be worth the cost? How will future expansions go? Tune in next time, to find out…

Belissar…can make bees now? Directly, not through a spawner? See, Belissar, Niobee was right! You’re not a useless drone after all! No offense to the hive of hive’s actually quite useful drones.

And speaking of bees, time to pick some more! What do y’all think of these? Because I, um, definitely know which one best dungeon master is going to pick. Of course. Obviously. It’s not like it was really hard to think of good choices because Belissar’s bees already have routes to most of my ideas on their own. I’m, um, just kicking the decision to next chapter for the cliffhanger. I’m so evil, right? And, um, definitely not still thinking of what to do.

Anyways!

Was the King not a useless drone all along? Which bee will Belissar pick? What about all those other choices? Tune in next time, to find out!

Good job, non-bees! You have enabled the King to make choices that shall result in more bees! There is no greater service for the hive of hives, so good job!

We’ll even let the dangerous one become more dangerous! That’s…good…right?

Anyways!

Has Belissar made wise decisions this time? What is the First of the Fifth planning this time? Can the silly nonbees protect the bees and so earn the title of not silly? Tune in next time, to find out!

There is no such thing as not to bee.

…carpenter bees showing up right after lumber feels like cheating, but I guess they are a common option. Ah well, rng giveth, let us hope it doesn’t taketh away.

And yes, the giant resin bees are supposed to be Wallace’s Giant Bees, but, you know, don’t know if a Wallace discovered ‘em this time. I mean, how could we not include the world’s biggest bees with those massive jaws?

Unfortunately, turns out they normally live in termite hives, and might even require the termites to survive. Which…are a type of non-bee, you know. Dang it.

Well, carpenter bees are good too, and our first solitary bee, so we’ll be happy either way!

Anyways!

Will rng taketh away? How will the first solitary bees react to the hive of hives? How will Juosiutik react when she finds out what room exactly Belissar is about to place? Tune in next time, to find out!

The webnovel readers reminded me how King Ratuatapi said his people found raising monster bees to be impossible, so telling the First of the Ninth to act normal might prove…challenging for the karnuq. That was actually quite a good point, so here we are. Thank goodness we have Velebee, surely Niomom can teach these magical giants how to bee normal.

Yes, Velebee…the bee that raised Niobee, nearly starved her hive searching for Niobee, then led her hive on a long and perilous journey for the sake of revenge instead of preparing for the winter…

…good luck to the karnuq beekeepers.

Anyways!

Can Velebee teach the monsters how to bee normal? Can the karnuq overcome the ultimate beekeeper’s challenge? Has Juosiutik died and gone to heaven? Tune in next time, to find out!

New bees means new beehouses! Once, you know, we figure out how to build carpenter bee homes. And once Beero stops panicking enough to reply. Thank goodness the first communer is there. She, ah, may have some experience with distracted queens.

Not the Fourth of the Seventh, obviously. The supreme innovator in hive organization definitely never gets distracted from running her hive, obviously. That’s why she can even leave the hive and still manage it! Truly the role model all queens aspire to.

Anyways!

Can Belissar build homes for carpenter bees? Will Beero be able to answer the King’s questions? Can she learn to run a hive to the Fourth of the Seventh’s supreme standards? Tune in next time, to find out!

That’s right, you silly non-bee! You can’t just take the honey from the bees, they worked hard for that! Ask not what the hive can do for you, but what you can do for the hive!

Stolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences.

So, you know, keep it up. Bees can remember individual human faces, so best to build a good reputation!

Anyways!

Can Belissar build a house worthy of a bee-ro? What can Metsaitti achieve with his new blessing? Can Paisijik learn the sacred art of caring for bees? Tune in next time, to find out!

…little worker, be at ease. Your contributions are not in vain as you fear. But, well, we all like more flowers so no reason you can’t have a little side project!

Still, Belissar, go tell the Flower Meadow worker they’re doing a good job, please! No bee does a bad job!

Anyways!

How will the honeypots change the Tower? What will come of the gardener’s plan? Will she finally be able to defend the hive of hives? Tune in next time, to find out!

Hirkolos, my boy, we appreciate your contrition for your crimes against the King and his bees. But you gotta stop with all these silly non-bee feelings and stuff. Don’t you know the bee-like response is to work for the hive?

I suppose even he is a silly non-bee in the end. Hopefully he can learn a bit from Velebee, or the King. Now there’s a non-bee who knows he needs to be more bee-like!

Anyways!

Will Hirkolos learn to work for the hive? Can he help Velebee teach the monster bees and karnuq to play nice? Will Belissar’s new spell save the bees next time? Tune in next time, to find out!

The Fourth of the Seventh’s…daughter? This is getting out of hand, now there are two of them! Just look at how one Fourth of the Seventh has revolutionized the hive of hives! What will two of them do?!

…well, you all know how I’m going to answer that…

Tune in next time, to find out!

Well, we all know what the right choice is. You wouldn’t make any foolish decisions, now would you, Paisijik? There’s a clearly correct choice, you know. You’ve done well for a non-bee, so don’t mess it up now.

Anyways!

Will Paisijik make the right choice? Will her future remain bright? How will everyone react to her choice? Tune in next time, to find out!

You listen here, little bee. You are not a failure. You are fundamentally incapable of being a failure, for you are a bee, and all bees are precious and valuable.

Look see, the King agrees…or would, if he wasn’t going slightly catatonic at the moment. Eh, probably just some silly non-bee stuff or something, I’m sure it’s nothing important.

Anyways!

What will Belissar do with his divine treasure? What silly non-bee stuff has him stunned now? What sort of flower has the gardener raised? Tune in next time, to find out!

Yay! It’s the God of Flowers! The perfect patron for a Tower of bees! What wonderful rewards has she offered best dungeon master…

A flower that…poisons…bees?

…um, is she upset or something? Why would she show us such a horrific crime against all that is good? Why has she allowed something as a horrible as to exist…oh, there’s a real bee that loves the real flower that's toxic even to bees, nevermind, carry on! What a wonderful flower!

Anyways!

What will Belissar and the bees choose? Will they consider a flower that can poison even bees? What about the cross-perks? Tune in next time, to find out!

I was a little uncertain which one to go with, here, but I think this is the choice that Belissar would make so there we go. When in doubt, choose bees, so is best King gonna give up a flower that literally has bee in the name? What is he, a silly non-bee?

Anyways!

How will the bees and flowers grow together? What does the God of Flowers think of Belissar’s choices? Has he chosen as wisely as the bees believe? Tune in next time, to find out!

Ah, the Fourth of the Seventh. If there was any bee that could drag some use out of a bunch of silly non-bee stuff, it would be her! Silly non-bees, staining stems just to look like flowers, that’s just plain evil. Why not just, you know, grow stems that have real flowers on them? You monsters.

Well, the Second of the Sixth won’t be silly, that’s for sure. She’s working hard to raise sprayers that…spray medicine instead of poison? That’s…useful, right? Well, surely more useful than the silly non-bee stuff, at least!

Anyways!

Can the Second of the Sixth revamp her hive? Will medicinal variants of the different bee types prove useful? Will the Fourth of the Seventh find anything useful in the silly non-bee hive? Tune in next time, to find out!

It’s time for bees! Colorful bees! And new rooms to help protect bees! Cause turns out Belissar’s got a lot of mana saved up so duplicate Fairy Groves and Lava Fields ain’t so expensive no more. Besides, no cost in mana compares to saving bee lives!

Anyways!

How will the colorful bees contribute to the hive of hives? Will the Fourth of the Seventh remember those plants she brought? Will Belissar’s new set up help defend the hive of hives? Tune in next time, to find out!

On the one hand, traps aren’t bees, and therefore non-bees. On the other hand, traps let us deal with non-bees without risking bee lives, so they are therefore desirable and necessary. So, you know, good job Belissar!

And he found a way to bring bees into it anyways, without risking bee lives! Best king indeed!

Anyways!

Will Belissar’s new defenses hold against strong shades? Will his magic allow him to protect the bees? How will the bees react to these changes? Tune in next time, to find out!

And so Belissar has invented bee hotels, as expected of best king and best dungeon master. Tarwantrad will fall into shambles when she finds out you can make bee homes for solitary bees too! This is why you are not best dungeon master, silly non-bee!

Fortunately, the God of Flowers is already on it, and sending her to the master, so perhaps she’ll learn one day.

Anyways!

How will Tarwantrad react to the existence of Nest Blocks? How does the God of Flowers handle her mead? Will the soldier bee army learn to fight in the confusing new room? Tune in next time, to find out!

Tomes filled with ancient lore: meh. Non-bees becoming more bee-like: better.

Still does not compare to actual bees but eh, Belissar's trying his best.

Anyways!

Can Noigakkuq teach Tyhgak to be more bee-like? Will Sehfitis find anything but silly non-bee stuff in those dusty old tomes? Can Belissar’s spells protect the hive of hives? Tune in next time, to find out!

Sigh, shades so weak they die to non-bee traps, now. Silly non-bees, how can the bees fight to defend the hive of hives if you can’t even reach the hive of hives?

Well, the new bees might just have a solution to that. We’ll just sting them before they get here!

And to be clear, monster bee queens and workers alone could have potentially defeated the first shade as all initial monster choices are at least theoretically capable of doing, but only if we min-maxed their numbers and then micro-ed them intensely. Which…Belissar didn’t know to do…maybe he did need captains after all…

Anyways!

Can the non-bees find ways to be useful? Can the bees teach them to fight in the Fairy Grove? How will the new bee protect the hive of hives? Tune in next time, to find out!

More bees! More bee day best day! Just like when I found out there are apparently ocean bees pollinating ocean flowers. Well, not officially bees (unless you’re in California, where bees are legally fish) but crustaceans trying to be bees so we’ll accept it. So that’s why all life is trying to become crabs…because crabs are trying to become bees!

Anyways!

Will light bees drive back the Hunger? Can Belissar make happy homes for all these new bees? Can he make a home for slime bees? Tune in next time, to find out!

Moar bees, moar! We finally arrived at the Alpha Bees Rimworld mod mechanics that inspired this thing to begin with! And it only took us 250+ chapters and POBees!

Plus, the Third of the Third trying to do something the silly non-bees taught her. I’m skeptical but if a bee thinks it’s worth trying then sure. Maybe bees being involved will turn it into something not silly. Eh, if nothing else, at least the carpenter bees will be well fed!

Anyways!

What will become of the newest queens? What sort of bees could the King’s boon result in? What will the cooperation of the Third of the Third and the carpenter bees produce? Tune in next time, to find out!

I’m talking about you, Noigakkuq. After you went and got blessed by the God of Bees, I expected a bit less non-bee silliness from you, girl. Sigh. Well, at least the hive of hives has added even more bees to bring down the average non-bee silliness of the Tower. We’re gonna need it…

Anyways!

Is Noigakkuq just another silly non-bee in the end? Will the silly non-bees learn to fight in the Fairy Grove? How will the new bees elevate the hive of hives? Tune in next time, to find out!

Oh no, what sort of horrible thing could…what, the Queen of All Bees wants this to happen? Ah, in that case, what sort of amazing, incredible, wonder could this be? Definitely nothing silly, that’s for sure!

Anyways!

What’s going on in the Fairy Grove? What unknown entity is trying to connect to the Tower? What does the Queen of All Bees intend here? Tune in next time, to find out!

Oh hey, it's the least silly of the non-bees...annndddd there she goes. Sigh. Must be some silly non-bee business, for only a silly non-bee would prioritize, well, anything over meeting the bees. Oh well.

Anyways!

What silly business is distracting Tarwantrad from what's important? Will she be able to return? Will best dungeon master teach her the way of bees? Tune in next time, to find out!

Well of course it’s a larger affair than you thought it would be, Tarwantrad. This is the bee dungeon we’re talking about! Of course your little silly non-bee imagination could not accurately envision the true importance of the dungeon of bees.

So, let’s hope all these silly non-bees stop there silly non-bee lollygagging and let you get back to the important thing here!

Anyways!

Will Tarwantrad get to return to what’s important? Will connecting to bees reverse the fate of the silly non-bees? Will they stop distracting Tarwantrad with silly non-bee business? Tune in next time, to find out!

Hm, otherworldly and magical fay that two cultures that have been separated so long they forgot about each other both somehow agree are super dangerous to deal with? I raise you this response: the God of Bees said she’s cool so she’s cool! All the rest of that just sounds like silly non-bee stuff, you know!

I’m therefore confident this will have no undesirable consequences for any parties involved.

Anyways!

Will Belissar deal with the tricky and dangerous fay? Will another king be brought to ruin? Will Niobee need to sting anyone? Tune in next time, to find out!

Oh great, another silly nonbee…wait, she brought flowers? She has more where that came from? In that case…welcome, great and honored and not at all silly friend!

Anyways!

Will Belissar’s Tower benefit from this exchange? What sort of flowers will Tarwantrad bring with her? Is there any reason not to accept such a deal? Tune in next time, to find out!

…on the one hand, it absolutely makes sense that the non-bee would want to address her insufficient number of bees and she is wise to do so. On the other hand…she wants our bees. That is…um…we’ll have to think about that. Giving up any amount of bees is…but she’s offering flowers that the bees want to make more bees…err…ugh.

Anyways!

Will Belissar give up his bees?! Can anything Tarwantrad offer be worth such a heavy price?! Are there any bees even willing to depart from the King’s realm?! Tune in next time, to find out…

Hey, what gives, Tarwantrad? That’s not a flower! But, well, I guess it helps flowers grow and bees do drink mushroom juice, so we’ll allow it. But you better bring the flowers if you want any bees, Tarwantrad!

Anyways!

Will the bees like the new mushrooms? Will Tarwantrad bring flowers next time? Can she convince the Compact to work with a human? Tune in next time, to find out!

Yes, bee can! Of course, bees can do anything those silly non-bees do, so long as the things they do are not too silly to be useful! In this case…they’re cutting trees down, just to put them back up again? That’s…um…well, the flowers seem to like it, so I guess that counts. I mean, seems like we could cut out a step by just planting trees there in the first place, but I guess growing trees takes many bee lifetimes so fair enough.

Anyways!

Will the stake building project pay-off? Is this an efficient and not silly allocation of bee-power? Will a wall of stakes and thorns improve the hive of hives’ defenses? Tune in next time, to find out!

Ugh, more non-bees being silly. Don’t they realize that this door leads to bees, and is therefore their only hope of reducing their silliness? This is why you are not best dungeon master, Nena-what’s-his-name.

Anyways!

Will the Compact realize what’s important? Will a human join the Circle of Dungeon Masters? Can a human care about any beings other than themselves? Tune in next time, to find out!

Ugh, more non-bees coming. This is what happens when we deal with the fay, unforeseen consequences. All I say is this had better result in the promised new flowers, or someone’s getting the sting!

Anyways!

Is it a mistake letting more non-bees into the Tower? How do the Circle’s rules compare to the Conclave’s? Will they bring flowers or will someone get the sting? Tune in next time, to find out!

Ah, now the silly non-bees have finally realized what they’re missing, and what the bee dungeon represents. An opportunity to learn from best dungeon master and resolve their appalling lack of bees! Maybe, just maybe, they won’t get the sting after all.

Maybe.

Anyways!

Will Belissar join the Circle in the end? Can best dungeon master resolve their appalling lack of bees? Will they avoid getting the sting? Tune in next time, to find out!

So…much…non-bee stuff. But it’s finally over, hopefully. And it’s for the sake of more flowers, so we shall endure.

You hear that, silly non-bees? We went through all this so you had better bring the flowers, and on the double!

Anyways!

Will the silly non-bees bring the flowers already? Will joining the Circle help the bees? Will the silly Compact realize what’s important? Tune in next time, to find out!

Well, I guess Nenavann gave us a seed, which could presumably grow flowers. We shall reserve judgement until the bees take a look but perhaps he’s not so bad for a non-bee.

But enough of that! It’s time to show the other non-bees all that they are lacking, and why King is best king!

Anyways!

Will the Heart of the Forest grow flowers? Will it help the bees? How will the non-bees react to the splendor of best king’s realm? Tune in next time, to find out!

Ugh, I was like, I should probably let that silly non-bee have a bit more screentime for the whole giving up one of his most valued possessions business. Don’t see why, it is only nature to forfeit (im)mortal possessions to the bees, but eh. And then it was like, oh, all this should probably attract the attention of another non-bee, shouldn’t it? And now we have another whole chapter full of…non-bees. Ugh. Well, hopefully these non-bees can appreciate what’s important. Hopefully.

Anyways!

Is something going on in Belissar’s core room? Can Nenavann protect the hope he’s found? What’s up with the new non-bee? Tune in next time, to find out!

Behold the best dungeon, silly non-bees! I suppose, though, we shall acknowledge that you two are only slightly silly, seeing as you have acknowledged the greatness of best dungeon master. Maybe, if you’re really lucky, he’ll share the secret of being less silly with you.

It’s bees, obviously, but somehow you all missed that.

Anyways!

What shall the non-bees do when confronted with such greatness? Will Tarwantrad endure the tour with her powers of language intact? Will Urubran get to taste fire honey? Tune in next time, to find out!

Obviously Belissar doesn’t need to change, Tarwantrad. He’s best dungeon master after all. You all need to learn from him, rather than the other way around!

Because obviously letting the bees run the show is the best thing you could possibly do.

Anyways!

Can Tarwantrad help best dungeon master do his job? Will Belissar get to see Tarwantrad’s dungeon in turn? Was it a good idea to show her everything in the Tower? Tune in next time, to find out!

The non-bee?! Again?! Right after we finished that silliness?! That’s…oh, he brought flowers? Well done! We will allow you a bit more screen time, then. At least one of the non-bees is making good on the promise that had us give them all that time to begin with!

Anyways!

What will the bees do with the new flowers? Will Urubran get lava lotus honey? Will the other non-bees bring acceptable offerings as well? Tune in next time, to find out!

A seed that…wants honey? That’s…well, I suppose bees need nectar from flowers to make the honey so I suppose that it’s fair for a plant to want some back. They do, in fact, contribute to the hive of hives well so we’ll allow it. As long as the seed grows up to make some flowers of its own, that is…

Anyways!

Why does a seed want honey? Will it grow up to make good flowers? How will its presence affect the bumblebee meadow? Tune in next time, to find out!

…bees, trying to act like non-bees while trying to grow? That…that’s just silly. It should be the other way around, Firstborn!

Look, just ask the Fourth of the Seventh. She clearly knows what to do! Surely the most innovative and creatively organized queen has a well-thought out and carefully considered plan for queens to grow!

Anyways!

Will the First of the Fifth find the depths of honey production? Will the Firstborn figure out how the Flower Meadow queens can grow? Will the Fourth of the Seventh get to scout the leaf door? Tune in next time, to find out!

Sigh, now the silly non-bees have convinced a queen to risk herself. Look what you’ve done, you silly non-bees! We won’t forgive you if the Firstborn gets hurt!

At least Tyhgak seems to know what’s up. The non-bees should be more bee-like, not the other way around!

Anyways!

Have the non-bees set the Firstborn on the wrong course? Can a queen entering battle end in anything but tragedy? Can a non-bee learn to be more bee-like? Tune in next time, to find out!

Ah. Finally. More bees. We’ve had far too many new non-bees and far too few new bees, lately! It’s time to get back to what’s important!

And the non-bees still worked their way into the chapter. Sigh. I guess it’s so one of them can get more bee-like though, so we’ll allow it. This time.

Anyways!

Will Tyhgak’s new bee powers make him an acceptable non-bee? How will the Orchard bees respond to the new bee type? Will one of Belissar’s queens become toxic? Tune in next time, to find out!

Hm? Sea? What that? Are there bees and flowers there? If not, why would we need to know about such a thing?

Science reports there are bees in the ocean.

…give us the sea, immediately!

Anyways!

Will Nenavann’s boons help the Tower and the bees? Will Belissar learn what a sea is? Will best dungeon master help Tarwantrad with her lack of bees? Tune in next time, to find out!

Ah, the silly non-bee understands that the King’s bees must remain with the hive of hives, and offers her flowers anyways. You know what, Tarwantrad? Maybe you’re not so silly after all!

Speaking of non-bee stuff, as requested by one of the Patreon readers at this point, a list of missions from the gods. As for a more comprehensive status check mentioned by another patron…um, yes. Of course. The status. The status of the dungeon. The status that specifically records every aspect of the dungeon. The dungeon’s status. I, um, totally kept very detailed track of the entire status. Totally. I’m, uh, just waiting for the ideal moment to reveal it, of course.

Anyways!

What will be the results of Tarwantrad and Belissar’s cooperation? Will Tarwantrad manage to get gardeners of her own? Will a bee devote themselves to the God of Flowers? Tune in next time, to find out!

Bees for bees. The only trade worth the cost. Well done, Tarwantrad. For realizing such a thing, you’ve proved you’re not entirely silly.

Now all we’ve got to do is get over this expansion business and we can get even more bees!

Anyways!

What bees does Tarwantrad’s dungeon hold? How will they fit into the hive of hives? How will the next expansion go? Tune in next time, to find out!

Huh. The non-bees handled a purification. They handled it so well no bees died. That’s…

…are non-bees valuable after all? We’ll…have to consider this. Or is the Hunger just doing so poorly it’s getting squashed by non-bees? Your record is getting increasingly worse, Hunger! How did the non-bees ever struggle against you?

Anyways!

What rewards will Belissar choose this time? What will he do with the new floor? Will the Hunger keep getting squashed by non-bees? Tune in next time, to find out!

…Tarwantrad has enabled us to choose more bees. For this and her other contributions to the hive of hives, I decree she has graduated from silly non-bee. Henceforth, we shall refer to her as the flower one, the moniker bestowed by none other than the Fourth of the Seventh, one of if not the most illustrious of queens.

We shall even forgive her for suddenly taking up more screentime, so long as said screentime continues to result in more flowers and bees.

Anyways!

Is Belissar wise to trust the flower one? What will he do with all the new room slots? What bees and perks will be offered this time? Tune in next time, to find out!

A bee monster…that’s not a bee? I’m skeptical but we’ll try to keep an open mind, it wouldn’t have the honor of the Bee type if it were silly, after all. As long as it’s built by bees, surely it will be amazing and incredible!

Anyways!

Will a bee monster that’s not a bee also be amazing and incredible? Will golems and enhanced toxins protect the hive of hives? How adorable will golem-making bees be? Tune in next time, to find out!

Sigh, the non-bees are being silly again, aren’t they? At least the flower one has realized the greatness of the hive of hives. Hopefully she’ll continue her non-silly efforts on the hive of hive’s behalf. Cause we all know the non-bees can’t help but be silly.

Anyways!

Can Tarwantrad protect the bee dungeon from the great danger it faces? What will the sigmaka decide to do? Will lord what’s his name do…something silly? Tune in next time, to find out!
