Chapter 1910: Chapter 1902: Secrets Known

Fifteen days.

After exactly half a month, the Utmost Purity Galaxy's upper echelon began to notice the absence of a particular person. While the Neo Zenith Tower was consolidating its presence, authority, and connections through overt and covert abuse of wealth, resorting to nonviolent negotiation tactics with the implied possibility of force, the various organizations started to notice that most matters were intelligently delegated to a capable unit of management, with Luo Ning at the helm.

The one regarded once as a foreigner was unable to be directly communicated with. Normally, this would be reasonably understood given his recently ascended status as a Heavenly Saint Alchemist, but an incident sparked a need for attendance!

-----

Suo Haoran sat upon a grand wooden throne forged of peak Mystic-World grade material, surrounded by six oval mirrors, and at the center was a large spherical orb of glossy cyan light resembling an egg wrapped loosely by black silk. His unfathomable presence exuded the supremacy of mysticism and majesty of the heavens, and his eyes illuminated the room with scorching, soulful radiance of rage. However, the oval mirrors each pulsed with an aura that wasn't the slightest bit inferior.

"..." Reflected in one of the mirrors was Superior Yanzi, the Superior Sage who Su Yi defeated. Despite his fate of losing a cultivated Avatar, he wasn't exuding any anger, only a calm indifference.

Displayed in another mirror was Superior Yushi, her bald head and phoenix-shaped azure eyes were unforgettable, alongside her tribal markings and voluptuously abundant lower half. She flatly asked: "Superior Suo, is this necessary?"

"Necessary?" Suo Haoran barely contained his anger, laughing with a sneer. His eyes observed the other four mirrors. They were all Superior Sages, and among them were Superior Shizi of the Zenith Extraction Tower, Sovereign Shadowjoy of the Joy Boy Hunter Union, and Heaven-Saint Thunderhaven.

These were all Superior Sages who were invested in Su Yi's outcome, either foreign or domestic. The sixth mirror held the image of a tall female, her slender body enveloped in black, silky robes and a bone-white spider mask with eerie scarlet eyes.

She was known by all as the Sovereign Black Widow. The Arachnids were not limited in activity within the Utmost Purity Galaxy, and they had bases across the Holy Void of Fortune. Sovereign Goliath Bird was only the resident sovereign within the Utmost Purity Galaxy. However, the Utmost Purity Galaxy was a hub of profession and commerce. In the grand scheme of things, information in and out was irrelevant to the overarching destiny or contest for power amongst Supreme Existences.

Their headquarters within was the weakest out of the Holy Void of Fortune, and this woman was sent by the headquarters to handle the hectic events that had happened or were happening within the Utmost Purity Galaxy lately. The most important event was the crippling of an entire unit, severely affecting their ability to spy or gather information. She was the reason for Suo Haoran's rage! She was the reason they were meeting like this!

Superior Yushi sighed, witnessing Suo Haoran's enraged state with no amusement in her heart. She felt that all this was unnecessarily performative.

Heaven-Saint Thunderhaven, who was halted by Sovereign Shadowjoy from acting against Su Yi that day, said with a grim voice laced with anger: "It was your people that initially divulged the information regarding the truth of Heaven-Saint Neo-Dawn. Sovereign Abhorrent Sky has confirmed the truth as well. What are you defending?"

The glossy orb at the center flickered a few times. The faint spiritual image of Long Shiya existed within. After losing his physical body, he still retained great, divine-like power, and sending a spiritual projection while maintaining the mystery of his location wasn't outside of his means, but this wasn't that. This orb was Long Shiya's Resonant Soul, captured by Sovereign Black Widow.

From the faint destructive aura he exuded, it was clear he had survived a Mythical Punishment. If Wei Wuyin were present within the Utmost Purity Galaxy, he would have noticed the Mythical Punishment unfolding within a Secret Realm in the Void-Blank Space just beyond the galactic border. And if he wasn't within a Heavenly Realm, he would have sensed the shattering of an oath and the karmic ties within.

Unfortunately...

Suo Haoran's eyes narrowed dangerously, having half a mind to crush Long Shiya's Resonant Soul with existential erasure.

Superior Thunderhaven said, "Your Heaven-Saint is a fraud. A Mystic Ascendant Realm youngster who is relying on an overabundance of Supreme Heavenly Treasures and Faux-Immortal Talismans to paint an image of invincibility and mystery. You all played into his hands like fools, allowing him to strut about as if he owned this galaxy. “Moreover, he offended the Arachnids, laying siege to their base of operations within our galaxy and crippling millions of their cultivators. Did he think he was truly invincible?"

"..." Enforcer Shizi could only silently watch as this all unfolded. He was here because of Suo Haoran and Luo Ning. The latter of whom privately sent a friendly gesture of appreciation—a bribe. He wasn't one to refuse good intentions since he wanted to establish relations with the newly ascended Heavenly Saint Alchemist, and he had a young wife who was talking his ears off to obtain an Arising Sage Elixir of low-perfection or higher. While he was a Superior Sage, perfected products were still difficult to procure, especially peak-tier Mystic-World products.

Despite that, he could only support Suo Haoran silently as repayment for their efforts. Even he was caught off guard by this revelation. While he was aware that the Neo-Dawn Alchemic Saint was a Mystic Ascendant and relied heavily on multiple Supreme Heavenly Treasures to establish dominance, he didn't know he was a youngster who might genuinely be at the Mystic Star Phase.

While his age and things had long since been exposed, who would believe he was only a hundred or so years at the Mystic Star Phase? Who could?

However, Long Shiya had observed him fully and knew that he relied on Faux-Immortal Talismans to create a Domain imbued with qualities of that eternal great dao and six Major Authorities and possessed an external wellspring of soul energy. According to Long Shiya, this was all designed by Wei Wuyin to elevate his position on the level of Supreme Existences, but that strike was unable to be replicated.

Normally, this wouldn't matter, but he had offended the Arachnids earlier. With their means, they not only verified his age, cultivation, and the “truth’ of his powers. They didn't seem intent on allowing such an offense to go unpunished.

“Invincible?” Suo Haoran spat with a scoff, “Even if this young man schemed against the Zeniths and our galaxy, what of it?"

“What of it?" Superior Thunderhaven coldly questioned.

“Yeah. What of it?" Suo Haoran bit back, "He's young and a Heaven-Saint Alchemist. You've said it yourself, he's incomparably talented, potentially beyond any youth in the entire Holy Void of Fortune. And you want to act against him? He likely has Faux- immortal Talismans and possibly the Bloodline lineage of the Immortal Jiaolong of his home galaxy, the Onestar Galaxy, so he's not without means to defend himself. What do you expect to do?"

“.." Superior Yanzi, Superior Yushi, and Enforcer Shizi turned to Sovereign Black Widow's mirror. Their gazes all said two words: “He's right.

Discovery or not, the facts suggested that Wei Wuyin was an unprecedentedly extraordinary figure, even if he relied heavily on external tools to establish his dominance.

“That's for us to decide."

"..." Suo Haoran's lips twitched. This meeting wasn't to ask for permission to act against Wei Wuyin; it was to evoke the Mythical Contract that the Zeniths signed. The Arachnids wanted to hold the Zeniths, the entirety of the Utmost Purity Galaxy, from interfering when they took action or assist them in acting against Wei Wuyin!

And because of this contract, there was little he could do. In fact, he had to pave a solid path for them to do so. And he knew why the Arachnids wanted to act. Suo Haoran was itching to participate despite his relationship.

The great dao of eternity was mysterious, and it was the pursuit of every last Resonant Soul Realm cultivator. They wanted Wei Wuyin's body, his aura of eternity. That tirade he had shouted was nothing more than verifying his thoughts: they were after the Immortal Jiaolong's bloodline.

Because no Resonant Soul Realm cultivator could enter the Onestar Galaxy with its Faux-Immortal grade Sky Source Seal that was placed during its immortal ascension attempt! With the Jiaolong's bloodline in hand, there was a strong chance...the Onestar Galaxy, which contained one of the greatest treasures in the entire thirty-three galaxies... ...could be entered!

While there was speculation regarding his unique, indecipherable bloodline, there wasn't any certainty until Long Shiya's oath-violating account of a domain far beyond his comprehension. While they said it was a talisman, they truly believed it was an ancient bloodline ability of the great dao of eternity!

Akin to a cultivator possessing a Worldly Domain before the Realm World Phase of the Astral Core realm! Only a cultivator with such innate advantages could be so devastatingly heaven-defying!

This information was limited to the Superior Sages present, and there was a strong possibility that Sovereign Black Widow didn't inform the higher-ups of her organization, only allied with those present for ease of convenience to eat a bigger piece of the pie. And from Sovereign Black Widow's response, she was certain that she could obtain the bloodline!

-----

Standing on a rocky hill, Wei Wuyin stood upright, his battle armor had changed despite the stains of blood, decorated in black, silver, and white, with a saber etched on his chestplate, with his saber sheathed at his hip. Beneath him was the gathering of thirty- three soldiers, all carrying the mark of the saber, performing various duties such as disposing of dead enemy corpses and repairing sabers.

His gaze was that of a True Void Dragon, naturally enhanced beyond understanding, grasping the entirety of the other side of a valley. A gathering of the Banner Faction, totalling sixty-two.

Wei Wuyin thoughtfully observed the terrain, devising a strategy. Beneath the saber insignia on his chestplate were four glowing heavenly runes of uniquely distinct design. If one could read these heavenly runes, they read: "Soldier, Commander, Champion, and Tactician."

The last heavenly rune—Tactician—shockingly exuded a familiar scholarly light of enlightenment.

“By gaining recognition of the heavens, I earn the right to ascend to a higher authority." Wei Wuyin had gained the recognition of the heavens to birth a Seed of Law for the Law of War in those four categories. If he were to have taken a normal Edict Potion, the Edict of a Sage would have given him a chance to establish one of nine paths, potentially more.

However, he now understood what an Edict of a Sage was. These Spirits of War present were representatives of all who embarked on the Dao of War in some form, attaching them to a faction. An Edict Potion would create a stronger version of this representative of will, creating an unseen trial of the heavens to gain recognition that others couldn't remember, likely only recalled vaguely as entering into a region of endless battle or a world of burning fire, and allowing them a greater chance at acquiring recognition of the Heavenly Realm. This also suggested that failure to achieve a Seed of Law was the failure of this stronger version to survive long enough to acquire the right to ascend a path.

An Artificial Edict of a Sage likely doesn't improve one's chances or increase one's Representative of Will's strength at all, hence the incredibly high failure rate. While he didn't know what the trials of other Heavenly Realms were, the Heavenly Realm of War involved incessant battle, slaughter, survival, and more.

The fact the three easiest concepts of War to comprehend were Soldier, Commander, and Champion, this aligned perfectly with his theory as these Spirits of War could quite easily embark on either path without difficulty given the circumstances, while the path of Tactician would likely require a cultivator to have an enormous amount of Enlightened Scholarly Mist to reflect intelligence and wisdom in any potential strategic action, far more complex than taking command of those within your designated Faction.

The transcendent Edict Potion defied that standard. He became his own Representation of Will, gaining the right to fight for his path, relying on the benefits of his natural soul. This was an incredible opportunity that was immeasurable in value.

Every second here, he grasped greater degrees of Intent through killing and environmental conflict, while higher forms of combat, tactics, and understanding of war were infused within his soul. Simultaneously, he understood more secrets of the heavens! This was an insane discovery!

Every living being who embarked on the Dao of War across the entirety of all creation and time was potentially here, fighting endlessly until their existences were erased. Perhaps...when he killed others, claiming the spoils of war using the Nexus War Flag, he not only claimed their souls and essence, but he also claimed their Spirit of War that was here, allowing them to become Spirits of War through fusion via the Minor Authority of War.

He couldn't fathom what would happen if the Representative of Will's origin that birthed them within the world perished. Would they disappear? Or would they be locked forever in combat until killed? What happens vice versa? Do the Spirits of War-like existences just reincarnate endlessly? Does the cultivator that birthed them lose the opportunity to grasp the Law of War?

Not only was Wei Wuyin able to understand more about the Heavenly Realms, but he also now had an idea of how the Heavenly Daos assisted Blessed in acquiring Seeds of Law!

However, after fighting here for so long, Wei Wuyin had decided on how to maximize his gains in a single stroke of his saber. He was going to earn the recognition of all nine paths using his Saber Faction!

“I wonder how a Seed of War born from the totality of the conceptual and metaphysical depth of war will be! Let's find out!" Wei Wuyin's silver dragon eyes glowed with unrivaled fighting spirit. With his advantages of a True Void Dragon, Stellar-Paragon Physique's inexhaustible stamina, a saber that was sharp enough to cut anything in this area, and two minds worth of combined intelligence, he was a dragon swimming with delectable shrimps.

"Men of the Omega Saber!" He roared, and the soldiers beneath him immediately began to get into an organized formation to march, their discipline unmatched.

And he was ready to eat.

“MOVE OUT!"

Erdiul's Note: Treasures... Treasures... Treasures... I'm numb to this shit after all this time. RIP all theses dumb ass sages though.

1909 Chapter 1901: The Ongoing Current

    Neo Zenith Tower.

Behind a desk within a spacious room, piled high with organized arrays of scrolls and tomes, Luo Ning sat quietly while diligently reading the contents of a palm-sized tome. Recently, her duties kept her busy. She was publicly recognized as Wei Wuyin's assistant, while given the grand title of Manager of Affairs.

Her duties were numerous and important to the setting of the Neo-Dawn Alchemical Lineage's presence within the Utmost Purity Galaxy, as well as maintaining active lines of communication with the three galactic vassals of the Neo-Dawn Empire. Normally, the broader strokes were decided by Wei Wuyin, while she and a select few others were given tasks on a micro-level to handle.

However, roughly a week ago, this brilliant emperor of hers had informed her of his decision to enter reclusive seclusion. Unlike the people of the Utmost Purity Galaxy or the three galactic vassals, excluding the Nine Sages of the Resolute Dusk Galaxy, Wei Wuyin was only at the first stage of the Mystic Ascendant Realm, the Mystic Star Phase.

His exceptional feats thus far had even made her question the validity of this possibility numerous times, but the countless reports and spiritual recordings of his concoction revealed a clear usage of Mystic Force, regardless of how strong it was, the intermixing of Mortal and Mystic Energies was as clear as day.

After all, the core difference between Mystic Force and Mystic Power was the astral- grade Spiritual Energy of the Astral Soul imbued with Mystic Core's mystic-grade Physical, Mental, and Essence Energies. This was dismissed by those grand powerhouses as a unique cultivation method emulating Mystic Force due to its overwhelmingly terrifying power that could rival Resonant Qi of the Heavens in terms of raw intensity, but she knew the truth—Wei Wuyin had only recently ascended.

Lesser known fact, this unearthly handsome emperor of hers had a strange aversion to using Temporal Acceleration Zones unless necessary, usually only doing so when lengthy alchemical concoctions were needed! Despite this, his creation of perfected alchemical products was unmatched by all conceivable standards.

She finished reading the last line of the tome in her hand. It was the financial detailing of recent dealings, especially Mortal-Rank proudly products. She touched her Void Ring subconsciously. Shortly before that outrageously young emperor of hers left, he had given her a Void Ring containing millions of Mortal-Rank products, alongside tens of thousands of Mystic-Rank products. All perfect-quality, either low, high, or peak!

    Every. Last. One!

She was in disbelief initially, and then accepted it. Since then, Luo Ning has had to regulate the dispersion of these products to prospective talents, and then made dealings to purchase materials, talismans, tools designed for travel, defense, offense, support, and cultivation assistance, and further distribute these to the appropriate parties. She was shaken by how immense Wei Wuyin's imperial duties were.

Her admiration for this unbelievably diligent emperor of hers was fascinating. Even more so, he had cultivated lower management well. It was to the point where, even if he vanished for decades, the Neo-Dawn Empire would experience no stagnation of growth. As for its vassals, even they would operate without issue.

It was both strange and miraculous that this world-defying emperor of hers had devised several systems and implemented them so stealthily, selecting trusted members across galaxies that were both competent and well-motivated.

Fortunately for her, the Prime Ascendants were extraordinary in their duties, alongside the secondary Seer, Ming Shufeng. The most important was someone that Luo Ning communicated with frequently. A figure that traversed the galaxies via Wei Wuyin's Void Altars freely.

He was an ambassador for ambassadors, and an inspector well-equipped to root out corruption and incompetence through infiltration and investigation.

According to Su Mei, this person's name was Yun Che. However, this person went by many names in the reports. Only a special symbol was etched in the report of those names, a symbol that could only be seen by those who cultivated the Neo-Dawn Visualization Incantation—three masks with different emotions.

There were also various disturbing reports from all over, they embodied secrets that few would ever expose, and they belonged to small sects and organizations to grand superpowers. The two worked in indirect tandem, yet their concerted efforts in execution, espionage, and intelligence gathering were unrivaled.

Even some of the reports sent chills down her spine. There was a symbol on those reports handled by this person as well, an inky blot that resembled a person or beast. It was hard to tell at first, second, or tenth glance. She was familiar with this name, having seen it a few times while she handled alchemical reports of competitors and alchemists of interest to recruit into the Hepta-Dawn Alchemic Corps.

    Shadow.

    There was no true name.

    Just: Shadow.

Then, Ming Shufeng was ever diligent. She would often accompany Su Mei on missions and expeditions. It was a little unfortunate that her cultivation base was still quite lacking for the scale of their operation. She was still effective, but the others had to compensate by relying on their abilities to establish networks of information.

Placing the small tome down, Luo Ning heaved a relieved sigh. All things were following predictable trajectories. The most important was the open channels for trade, establishing connections with many chambers of commerce across the Utmost Purity Galaxy. And the swift way to do so was quite effective: Bribery.

Luo Ning took a page from that sly emperor of hers playbook with glee. Why scheme and perform tedious negotiations when you can outright buy loyalty and permits? Every wheel can be greased with ease with enough capital. She realized that any society was vulnerable to such things.

While those under specific oaths can't be leveraged, it was easy to acquire pawns with gross levels of wealth. She looked at her Void Ring. She had finished bribing a Mystic Overlord overseeing several small, medium, and large-sized stellar regions with just ten high-tier, high-perfection Mystic-World products to agree to a ten-thousand-year contract of business.

This was only one example of many. She was becoming quite practiced in the art of bribery via temptation.

She was once again reminded that, despite the Utmost Purity Galaxy having the greatest degree of wealth among the Holy Void of Fortune, it was largely concentrated in the Zenith Towers, and cultivation remained difficult. In fact, she had looked into this.

Nearly 93% of the entire greater wealth of the Utmost Purity Galaxy was within the Zenith Towers and their direct subordinates.

    93%!

And of those products, this included semi-acceptable impure-quality products of the Mystic-World and Mystic-Heaven grade, which likely covered 20% or more of that wealth.

They were the ones with the most Mystic-World and Mystic-Heaven graded alchemical products and materials, so it made some sense. The more important and shocking detail was that over 60% of all their wealth comes from outside the galaxy, gained through trades and contracts.

Luo Ning was also taken aback by how even Supreme Sages began to willingly involve themselves with the Neo Zenith Tower. She didn't know the details, but Hong Xuannu had become an Enforcer for the Neo Zenith Tower, discarding her identity as a bloodthirsty Void Pirate.

Not a single superpower was overly shaken by this news. It was completely expected given that her life was saved by that benevolent emperor of hers. The strange thing was that Wei Wuyin hadn't given her any instructions to do this. This happened about five days ago, two days after Wei Wuyin left. Hing Xuannu asked for a job, so she was inducted by Luo Ning as a Dao Enforcer, having her swear the requisite oaths.

After this news spread, the Neo Zenith Tower's legitimacy as a Zenith Tower grew. While Wei Wuyin was a mysterious existence of great means and power to all, Hong Xuannu was a galactically recognized Supreme Sage and a native of the Utmost Purity Galaxy. Luo Ning couldn't help but think about how her life had changed so drastically after the Alchemic Clash back then. Being selected by Wei Wuyin then was a grand blessing unmatched in the world.

Closing her eyes, she wondered how this heaven-piercing emperor of hers was doing. Unbeknownst to her, that thought perfectly described Wei Wuyin's predicament, having pierced the heavens with his soul!

    -----

    Heavenly Realm of War.

Wei Wuyin held his chipped saber with both hands, tip pointed downwards, and the hilt pressed against his chin as he squatted contemplatively, gazing intently at the recently deceased corpse of the spearman he had captured.

“Learning a language makes my brain hurt," Ori complained.

“You don't have a brain," Kratos commented thoughtlessly.

“I have a brain! Eden! Kratos said I don't have a brain” Ori snitched.

"..." Eden sighed with exhaustion. "Kratos..."

“Fine! Fine!" Kratos folded under zero pressure, unwilling to deal with either of them, “You have a brain. A big, beautiful, white brain!"

“That's right! I DO HAVE A BRAIN!" Ori triumphantly declared, "And it hurts."

Wei Wuyin heaved out a deep breath, expelling all his confusion. "The Heavenly Realm of War, huh?" According to the soldier, this place was known as the Proving Field of Battle by an innate understanding of each being born here. It was a never-ending, ceaseless region of violent conflict spanning an unknown distance. At the very least, they didn't know if there was an end.

Since they couldn't cultivate in accordance with the normal path of the Foundation Establishment, Qi Condensation, Astral Core, Mystic Ascendant, Resonant Soul, and so on, they were very limited in their ability. Moreover, every active region was overwhelmed by bloody battles of the 3,000 different factions.

    That's right...

    3,000!

    3,000 FACTIONS!!!

By his understanding, each represented an Intent, an expression of will that was intimately connected with the Dao of War.

Wei Wuyin finally understood where the term Dao of War came from when described in The Battlefield's reward lists’ descriptions. It wasn't a great dao on the level of Mortal, Mystic, or the eternal, but it existed as a true dao of the world.

There was cultivation here. It was the cultivation of Intent, the development of one's will to unify with the world around them—with the Heavenly Realm.

instantly, Wei Wuyin understood why, excluding the nine elements, all other forms of Intent were explicitly separated from the Mortal Dao and Mystic Dao. The enlightenment struck with immense force.

No wonder Shui Fengbao and Yao Houyi were so abnormal and had developed their intents in a way beyond their cultivation base. They were innately gifted in the cultivation of an entirely different dao.

This might explain why those like Shui Fengbao were granted great misfortune in their lifetime by an unseen force, and likely why the mysterious lady who met Su Mei and Yao Houyi referred to the latter as either a Daoseeking Child or a Lesser-Heaven Primeval Sprout.

The Heavenly Realms must have great ties with him.

Beastmen had trouble ascending due to this very conflict of the Primordial Dao and the Mortal, Mystic, and eternal dao. It was truly as if lightning had struck him, clarifying many of his doubts, and verifying many of his theories made in the past in an instant. Wei Wuyin touched his pauldron, feeling the indentation that was formed upon its surface. It was a saber.

He belonged to the Saber Faction.

But when he asked about the Saber Faction, the spearman said sabers don't exist. Blades and Swords do. Not sabers. According to him, the Saber Faction was the Blade Faction, and Wei Wuyin misunderstood. However, Wei Wuyin could sense that his faction after touching it and familiarizing himself with the rules of this realm was the Saber Faction.

This was the cause of his great contemplative state. This was a mystery that baffled even him.

But most importantly: "How can I maximize my gains here?" An ambitious glint flared within his silver eyes.

This was a Heavenly Realm, a genuine HEAVENLY REALM! He was here in soul, not body, and this was an unimaginable opportunity.

According to the spearman, to whom he felt was akin to a Spirit of War, those here had to earn the recognition of a path of war to ascend. He was familiar with three of these paths: Soldier, Commander, and Champion. However, there were nine paths: Soldier, Elite, Undefeated, Commander, Tactician, Champion, Conqueror, Slaughter, and lastly, Peace-Maker.

The easiest paths were Soldier, Commander, and Champion.

The hardest paths were Undefeated, Conqueror, and Peace-Maker.

“If I had to guess, ascending any path was equivalent to acquiring..." Wei Wuyin's eyes narrowed.

    “...Authority!" Eden completed his thought.

If so, then this so-called Proving Field of Battle was likely the initiation requirement to acquire a Seed of Law at the Conceptual Level. Since the ordinary Edict Potion connects the soul with this level, allowing a cultivator a chance to form a Seed of Law, this was a logically sound theory.

    And that...made things VERY interesting!

      “MOVE OUT!"

1911 Chapter 1903: Warring Across The Heavens

        Twenty-three days.

The absence of Wei Wuyin began to become known. The Neo-Dawn Alchemic Saint, this newly ascended Heavenly Saint Alchemist, was undergoing secluded consolidation of his skills of alchemy; this was the official announcement issued by the Neo Zenith Tower to dissuade further powerhouses from requesting a meeting.

Despite the announcement of seclusion, Luo Ning and the Neo Zenith Tower were rapidly flourishing beyond the expectations of the existing Zeniths. With a mixture of negotiations, bribery, networking, and public alliance with the Incandescent Star Palace as business partners, testing out Star Discs as a viable means of portable Star Bridge transportation, the eighth Zenith Tower was explosively rising in presence and authority.

The Star Discs released initially were only locally restricted, allowing a Stellar Transit Bridge to form within a range of one billion miles of a Dawn Gate. This Dawn Gate was an antenna that was essential to the activation of Star Discs, and a single one placed within or near the Solar Star of a Starfield was enough for Star Bridge transportation.

Normally, the Star Bridge Array was needed; this allowed the Incandescent Star Palace to establish miniaturized ones across the galaxy that allowed the denizens of the region to arrive, pay the Incandescent Star Palace for usage, and, within a specific timeframe, they could transport anywhere, even beyond the Utmost Purity Galaxy.

Wei Wuyin had used an ancient Star Bridge Array to traverse an unknown distance to arrive at The Battlefield back then in the Grand Cyclic Stellar Region's planet Blueglow located within the Ninestar Starfield. This was their business model. However, the need to be present at a Star Bridge Array, waiting until a sufficient build-up of energy is required for your desired travel, and disallowing the usage of small-time matters limited its relevance.

While Void Gates existed here in the Utmost Purity Galaxy, due to the volatility of transporting Mystic-Rank materials, tools, and objects, or abrupt battles of high level disrupting stable and fixed space, this made it severely limited in usage, and unable to facilitate importing or exporting, forcing Dark Void travel on Void Vessels to remain relevant to this day, including Void Pirates. Stellar Transit Light had none of these issues.

The Star Discs hadn't just upended this disadvantage; they had outright changed the nature of transportation. Not only was it portable and easily carried, unlike a Star Bridge Array, but it could also be used as a means of escape. The only current requisite was a Dawn Gate, the antenna that allowed transport within a specific region.

This was deliberately designed by Wei Wuyin and Palace Lord Incandescent Star, slowly establishing its convenience and qualities to be ingrained within the minds of others, beginning small by allowing starfields to individually grant permission as if they were conducting small-scale testing. And they were. And it was working!

By locally restricting the region, it did little to diminish how impactful the nigh-instantaneous travel across the Dark Void with the utmost safety was to a cultivation society's economic freedom and ability.

It had only been fourteen days since it was introduced into various starfields, yet the number of Void Pirate incidents or abrupt loss of shipments via random Void Creatures or Void Phenomena was almost eradicated within that period. The Star Discs were not only capable of mass production, but any cultivator at the Realm World Phase can use them with ease. Considering they're the only ones that could reliably conduct outer-planetary explorations or trade, this limit of cultivation left no negative effects.

Moreover, the Star Discs of this limited, local variety were extraordinarily cheap. While it was only a one-off, it could be bought with a few high-grade astral stones. A batch of dozens could be obtained with a Mystic-Earth grade stone. This might seem low in price, but just the initial two hundred starfields that were designated as testing grounds had bought over two million Star Discs after the first three days.

That was hundreds of thousands of Mystic-Earth grade stones worth of resources within a few days. Moreover, the Dawn Gate openly absorbed the Solar Essence emanated from the stars, condensing Solar Stones before being periodically extracted by the Incandescent Star Palace. They reasoned that these condensed stones of Solar Essence were required for Star Discs.

Few argued since the Solar Essence acquired was negligible and didn't affect their cultivation or starfield, but the benefits of possessing a Star Disc were instantaneously felt. It was freedom—the freedom of travel, communication, and exchange. While this had always existed, it had never been at this level of convenience.

It was as if a mortal archaic kingdom of swords and stone had gained the ability to fly planes without the existence of missiles or air bombers, and everyone with a little bit of money could afford a seat for their family.

Tourism exploded! And this was just between starfield planets!

The Neo Zenith Tower influenced a variety of starfield-wide competitions for youth and prime experts with rewards, all under the guise of seeking out potential to hire for the Neo Zenith Tower, garnering much attention, and further facilitating the usage and convenience of Star Discs for communication and connection!

        -----

"They haven't found him?" Tianshi Ya was dressed in a lightly dressed robe within a spacious, opulent bedroom decorated with all sorts of wondrous treasures. She was exceptionally alluring as she sat at her desk with a mirror, combing her hair with a jade comb.

Suo Haoran was lying on the bed, staring at the gorgeously artistic fresco on his ceiling depicting a young man dragging a star with an unyielding spirit. It was capable of evoking the spirit to never surrender, no matter the difficulty.

Despite Tianshi Ya's lack of cultivation and the need for secrecy, Suo Haoran unhesitatingly demanded that Tianshi Ya be read into the developing situation, and given his fiercely unyielding stance on the matter, they could all only accept it. A man who was unwilling to hide any secrets from his woman was incredibly rare.

"No," Suo Haoran answered. Sovereign Black Widow, Heaven-Saint Thunderhaven, Superior Yushi, and Superior Yanzi had formed an unlikely alliance with the Arachnids' influence at the helm, despite their former conflict on the topic of Su Yi. Supposedly, two more Superiors might be involved.

"Are they going to try to bait him out more aggressively? Or will they wait?" Tianshi Ya was originally deeply shaken by the revelation of Wei Wuyin's extraordinary qualities that defied understanding. While Su Yi was a demonic genius of combat, Wei Wuyin was potentially an Alchemic Soul Heavenly Saint Alchemist under the age of a hundred.

Of course, when she asked Suo Haoran if that was possible, his response was to shake his head. According to estimation, there was a strong likelihood that the Jiaolong's bloodline was different in regard to openly displayed age, and likely a ballooned lifespan and soulspan on par with the beast, not a human.

To reason it out, Wei Wuyin's hundred years might be a hundred thousand years in reality. After all, the act of concoction was disgustingly difficult and time-consuming, only increasing as rank and grade increased, and considering he had invented several Mystic-Earth and Mystic-World graded products, including several lines of Mortal-Rank products for his lineage, an age of under two hundred was feasibly impossible.

None of them actually believed that he was only a hundred or so years of age. There existed arts and spells or entire cultivation methods that regressed age or halted the expenditure of lifeforce via the usage of an external storage, artificially elongating one's prime state and life.

Just practicing or refining a Heavenly Treasure, Concoction Method, or refining products was time-consuming. It just wasn't possible. That said, the bloodline qualities or abilities of the Jiaolong were too high-level to discern, and even Supreme Seers wouldn't dare delve into it without extensive support from dozens of other Supreme Seers and treasures to secure their lives in the situation of a backlash.

And considering that Wei Wuyin had tried to use the peak-tier, Mystic-World grade Blooming-Spring Blossoming-Fields Paste of the Spring Lineage within the Alchemic Clash, it only verified that his quintessential lifespan was abnormal. This only gave further evidence that Wei Wuyin was much, much, MUCH older than he showcased. They simply didn't understand the profound logic behind how to calculate his exact age, only seeing it as a hundred to two hundred years.

Moreover, since he invented the Neo-Dawn Vortex-Zone Pellet, this meant he was extremely familiar with the usage of temporally-accelerated zones and likely used them extensively. How could that be possible for a cultivator under two hundred years of age?

If Suo Haoran had to give his best guess, then it was likely a thousand times higher, and while that was still young, only under two hundred thousand years of age, for a potential hybrid or a descendant of the Jiaolong, this was reasonable. Beasts and Star-Devourers often had excessively high lifespans and soulspans far surpassing their strength.

"..." Suo Haoran was unable to answer Tianshi Ya's question.

Tianshi Ya, sensing the uncertainty in the air, said: "His wives are still here, including Manager Luo, his assistant. If they capture one of them, they're bound to draw him out of seclusion." While her words were vicious, the one thing a cultivator didn't want to give an alchemist was time. This was especially so if he somehow gained a sense of a potential looming crisis. They could easily thwart their plans and counterattack.

Suo Haoran didn't have a response, so he remained silent. This wasn't his operation. Whatever subtlety or lack thereof was deployed by Sovereign Black Widow was all on her. It was already lucky enough that the Zeniths hadn't heard of it, likely starting a game of Mystics hinging on his fate.

He could only sigh as he gazed at the beautiful art before him.

        "AHHH!!"

A shriek of death echoed out as a spurt of blood resounded. Wei Wuyin stood above a large soldier, his foot pressed against his crumbled armor, as the physical form of Element in this Heavenly Realm was extracted from his chest with a splash of hot blood.

This soldier was different from others. It was stronger, faster, and smarter. It commanded a legion of thirty-two individuals, on the verge of gaining the recognition of the Commander path, which only required thirty-three soldiers.

This soldier, on the verge of becoming a Commander, had a unique mark. Somewhere, there was a cultivator who had a genuine Edict of a Sage executed on them, and they had just failed to ascend the Commander's Path of the Law of War.

Wei Wuyin had no pity for them, his eyes sweeping over his commanded soldiers that were fighting viciously. They belonged to a single faction: the Siege Faction. The 3,000 Factions weren't just weapons, but the concept of war, including Banner and Siege, which seemed to be paths that those seeking the Commander's Path took, gathering forces.

Outside of the Heavenly Realm, the Intent of Banner was capable of influencing those under your command, allowing more efficient formations and arrays, infusing a portion of your strength into each individual based on your strength. This divided strength was unreasonably magical and profound.

For example, with the lowest Awakened Banner Intent, a Commander could infuse upwards of 5% of their complete strength into their soldiers. This might not seem like much, but this was 5% to EACH. While the number that can be bestowed this blessing was limited, that was based on one's Spiritual Strength.

Moreover, the unity of energy flow for the construction of Collaborative Spiritual Spells or Manifesting Arrays was significantly higher.

Meanwhile, Siege Intent was similar to, if not exactly like Awakened Intent of Momentum with small differences. And this difference was the limited application of the Law of Momentum-like powers, only working when conducted as a group rather than an individual, and only against a target. The more individuals you have, the greater the amount of momentum you start with and the faster it ramps up.

This was an excellent Intent for war, despite its limitations!

"SURRENDER!" Wei Wuyin roared with his draconic lungs, causing the entire battlefield to shake except his own soldiers, who used this moment to end their opponents, "OR DIE!"

After those three words echoed out, the soldiers under the Edict of a Sage's soldier realized the situation and Wei Wuyin's imposing might. They began to surrender, dropping their weapons and kneeling in defeat. A stubborn few fought and died to the last.

Wei Wuyin's numbers had risen from the original thirty-three to seven hundred now. This was only a small company of his; the rest were located in his base of operations, establishing logistical networks and banners signifying the conquering of specific regions for his faction.

Among his soldiers, while they all carried the insignia of the saber, some of them had Warhammers, Banners, Arrows, Spears, and more, representing more than fifteen different factions.

On his chestplate were seven heavenly runes, signifying that seven out of the nine paths had recognized his efforts, allowing him to grasp Seeds of Law regarding those concepts of the Heavenly Law of War.

They were: Soldier, Commander, Champion, Tactician, Elite, Slaughter, and Conqueror.

Those heavenly runes shone with great majesty.

The only thing he was left with was Undefeated and Peace-Maker. He had more or less figured out the requirements of these two. Undefeated required him to remain undefeated in a specific number of battles, and this could be via group or personal achievement; it didn't matter, but the greater the number, the stronger the resulting concept. For him, with his Stellar-Paragon Physique and True Void Dragon Bloodline, this was bound to happen in his eyes.

Peace-Maker, however, was by far the hardest to achieve. He had made some assumptions regarding how it works, but after conquering others and forcing those soldiers to become his Soldiers, Elites, Tacticians, Commanders, or Champions, he realized the last thing was the unity of factions.

He needed to not overwrite each of the Factions he conquered as his own, but allow them to join his fold while retaining their original identity. He had to unite several factions as one, establishing never-before-seen peace between identities.

However, just like Undefeated, he also believed the strength of the concept would depend on how many factions he could unite under a single banner.

        So he had decided:

HE WOULD UNITE 3,000 FACTIONS UNDER A SINGLE FACTION!

        HIS SABER FACTION!

He was ready to wage war across the heavens!!!

Erdiul's Note: Crazy how these sages are so clueless about him, but are still so adamant to test fate. Clues before their eyes, but refusing to accept it because of ego and arrogance. Greed truly knows no bounds.
