The God of War Ares could not use any more time to search for those two which is why he decided to abandon the effort. He just turned around and destroyed all of the remaining monsters in the battlefield. He did not just kill them but he deliberately stomped on them until they can no longer be recognized. This was a statement of a threat that any that dares to go against Olympus will not be spared.
"I should also tell this to the other gods of war. If it is the Primordial Calamity Typhon then no god shall be safe if he really surfaces back." The God of War Ares muttered as he went towards the Champions of Olympus.
"You have done a great job, warriors. You managed to stop a large wave of enemies despite being of small number. My father will surely reward you handsomely and this is from me as a small token of my appreciation." The God of War Ares stated as he gave a blessing to all of the Champions of Olympus.

"Diamachi, I am not disappointed that you were unable to go against that monster as even Alcides has not killed her but you need to train more. You shall undergo the Trial of War once more but with a much higher difficulty. I want you to kill that monster should you encounter her again." The God of War Ares stated.
One might think that the God of War Ares would instantly punish his champion for being inadequate but he is also a god of warriors. The grit and determination to succeed that Diamachi has shown him did not make him lose interest in her being a champion. In fact, he liked that Diamachi would throw herself into the fight despite knowing that the enemy is stronger than her.
The God of War Ares believed that warriors like her will be needed if they really will go against the Primordial Calamity Typhon. The fight against the Primordial Calamity Typhon is not something that only gods should worry about. The Primordial Calamity Typhon is also a being that can create beasts of great power which not all gods can easily kill. The Primordial Calamity Typhon can create lesser god level beasts with ease hence he is considered a Universal Calamity.
"I shall train my way back to the top, my patron!" Diamachi stated as she knew that she definitely lost this round but she is determined to kill Namea the second time they face each other.
"It seems that the enemies this time are prepared. They were even able to escape the pursuit of the God of War Ares." Melaina, Champion of Demeter, stated as she continued to heal Diamachi.
"The reason being the God of War Ares did not want to use his true form or else all of us will be killed as well. Even if they do a full descent, the bodies that they use are still considered as an avatar since a god’s true body cannot be seen by mortal eyes. That includes even the demigods such as us." Nomios, Champion of Hermes, stated.
The Champions of Olympus started to clean up the battlefield as instructed. The clean up was very easy as the God of War Ares managed to cull a lot of the monsters and they were already injured or close to dying when they chased after them. The entire grounds of the foot of Olympus could be seen littered with large quantities of monster bodies.

"That was close!" Myrma stated as she took of a copy of a relic that is in the shape of a helmet.
"It was a good thing that we prepared a copy of this relic when we joined this." Namea stated as she also took off the relic copy.
"What do you mean ’we’? I was the one that insisted on having one in our inventory while you tried to scoff at it. If Lernea did not force you to take it then you would not have done so. These relic copies saved our lives today or else we would be captured by the God of War Ares. His eyes were hellbent on capturing us as it seems he sensed the energy that we have." Myrma stated.
The relic copies that they have that is in the shape of a helmet suddenly disintegrated into ash after taking them off. The relic copies that they have is a poor attempt at making another Helm of Darkness which is the symbolic divine relic of the God of Death Hades. They managed to get a copy of the relic which has 50% of its abilities that only includes the invisibility.
The true Helm of Darkness would have made them invisible to all of the senses. The copy that they have is only able to make them disappear from sight. In fact, the God of War Ares could have captured them if he was able to hear or smell them but that is impossible to filter when everything smells as a lot of dead monsters have piled up. Also, the God of War Ares has no distinct ability to differentiate the smell of monsters unless he marked them.
When the large boulder flung the God of War Ares back for a few meters, Namea and Myrma instantly used the relic copy to turn invisible. They were still there but they needed to escape carefully hence they did not run but carefully walked out of the battlefield. They even had the God of War Ares standing a few meters away from them but he could not perceive them through sight as the relic copy can hide them even if the other party has special eyes.
"Fine. I will give you this win since I almost froze up when the God of War Ares stood a few meters away from us. If he did not have limited time descending then he might have been able to capture us for real. It is a good thing that Olympus has not fully descended on the mountain or else they will have a large area where they can descend." Namea stated.
"There is a problem though." Myrma stated.
"Both of you are correct. The problem is that the God of War Ares seemed too interested in capturing both of you. It seems that he noticed the energy of our master from your bodies. You are welcome by the way." Phaea stated as she led them to the cave where she installed the teleportation formation.
"Thanks for having our backs there, Phaea. We would not have escaped if not for your quick thinking." Myrma stated as she knows when to say that she only escaped because of the help.
"No worries as I am only doing my part. If the other expressed gratitude, then I would have been jumping for joy but that is not her style. Anyways, Lernea has already gone to fetch the others as there was an issue." Phaea stated.
"An issue? What problem did they encounter?" Namea asked.
"The issue is not very critical but it came to light because of you." Phaea stated.
"Me? Why am I the problem?" Namea asked but Myrma and Phaea just looked at her with disbelief.
"You put too much spirit in the battle that you called upon a god from the opposing side to descend in battle. The plan was to make the gods pay attention to the skirmish for a long time. You just had to go against Alcides and even push him back that the God of War Ares took an interest to personally capture you." Phaea stated.
"I do not think that is the case. The arrival of the God of War Ares is somewhat expected but he descended too fast as if he was originally supposed to descend and destroy the monster army. It takes time for gods to descend in full power." Namea stated.
Just as the six of them were chatting, a red rift in space suddenly manifested in their location. They were not surprised with the red rift as this is their primary way of being transported with the Shards of Janus infected with the energy of Typhon. They expected that their other members have successfully harvested the golden apples and is about to congratulate them but something unexpected happened.
"Open the other breach! We are being chased!" Lernea shouted as all of them looked injured severely.
Phaea did not even question what Lernea told them and instantly activated the breach. A red rift in space is created once more and all of them helped the others carrying the golden apples when a hand pierced the red rift that was opened first.
