"That battle junkie! We were told to just create distractions not become the distraction!" Myrma muttered to herself as she was still keeping herself hidden from view.
Myrma did not expect that Namea would actually pounce at the appearance of another battle junkie like herself. She even had this feral face that she only lets loose when she knows that there is someone like her. In fact, Myrma is now regretting not being able to stop Namea as she exposed herself in the early stages.
"It would have been better if she only got that itch for battle after an hour or so! Not when the battle has basically just started! Wait! I can actually use this for my advantage and create more distractions while they are focusing on her." Myrma stated as she started to give commands to her colony.
The Champions of Olympus could not believe what they are seeing right now as Diamachi actually lost in a battle of pure strength. She could even match Alcides if it just comes down to raw power but her arm could be seen as dislocated. The good thing is that Diamachi’s arm is not shattered or destroyed but the power to dislocate it is something on the level of Alcides. All of the Champions of Olympus knew that the being before them can actually contend with them easily compared to the monsters here that are just sacrificial lambs.
"Who are you?" Alcides asked.
"If you want to know then defeat me first!" Namea shouted as she pounced towards Alcides.
Alcides immediately gave Diamachi to Nomios who is the Champion of Hermes. As the healer of the Champions of Olympus, Nomios easily cured the dislocated arm that Diamachi suffers from. He also cleansed the status debuff that Diamachi got inflicted by the enemy.
Alcides and Namea clashed with one another as both could be described as apex predators. Namea’s attack became serious as her fists carried the power and strength that she has. Alcides carries the strength and power that is granted to him by the Goddess Hera. One would think that the Goddess Hera is just the Goddess of Marriage and Childbirth but she is also a sovereign ruler and the most powerful Goddess of Protection.
The Goddess Hera spared no expense in giving blessings to her champion as she is also the Goddess of Oath Keeping. All those that give an oath to the goddess have their effects doubled hence the result of Alcides being the most powerful of the Champions of Olympus. This does come with a caveat that Alcides will only remain loyal to the Olympus or else everything he has will be stripped away.
A gigantic marbled giant with numerous precious gemstones manifested for a bit as Namea got pounded into the ground. The ground beneath Namea’s feet caved in as half of her body got swallowed by it. Namea did not get damaged on her body directly but she did spat out a mouthful of blood as her internal injuries were greater than the outer ones.
"No wonder you seem familiar when it comes to that aura. You really are a monster and one that I have beaten to pulp before." Alcides stated as he knows what kind of pressure Namea is emitting as he already encountered such a being before as a quest.
Alcides thought that Namea being only bruised when she clased with Diamachi should have been impossible. If Diamachi is serious, even she could destroy an arm from Alcides if he clashes with her with all their might. The fact that the player before him did not even get a scratch but just some internal bruises already answer his doubts.
"AHAHAHAHAH! FINALLY! SOMEONE STRONG ENOUGH TO LET LOOSE FOR A WHILE!" Namea shouted as her body started to swell and she pulled herself out of the ground.
The Champions of Olympus could not believe what they are seeing now as Namea could be seen to have no physical injuries. The only way to know that she was injured is that there is some blood coming out of her mouth. Other than that, her body does not even show any sign of a cut or injury. As they took this information in, the Champions of Olympus has also learned about what kind of being the woman before them is.
"A Nemean Lion. To think that there would be a player that would transform themselves into a monster." Alcides stated as that is what Namea is.
The Nemean Lion is a monstrous beast in Greek mythology that terrorized the valley of Nemea. It is renowned for its immense size, glittering golden fur, and magical invulnerability to mortal weapons, it served as the first target in the legendary Twelve Labors of the former demigod Heracles. With Namea being forced to reveal her power, the golden aura around her finally glistened.
Namea’s main like hair suddenly started to shine gold as her transformation could no longer conceal the power aura of a Nemean Lion. Namea did not fully transform yet as she knows that going all out here might jeopardize the mission. She might be a battle junkie but she likes victory more. For her, the true victory would be the other apostles getting what they need but that does not mean she cannot have fun in the process.
"You are the first player to every force me into usin this. You should be proud, Champion of Hera. I shall show you what a demigod level Nemean Lion is capable of!" Namea stated as her aura finally shifted from intense bloodlust to sharp bone penetrating bloodlust.
Alcides felt chills in his body as if he is facing against a lesser god of Olympus. Namea did not even wait for Alcides to react as she already appeared before him in such a fast speed. Without even noticing, Namea gave a powerful punch to Alcides using the golden energy covering her entire body.
