First it seemed that only technology would evolve, but who knew the world itself could too? It wasn’t as simple as climate change or tectonic movement. No, the fundamental laws of physics that governed everything were changing.

Leonel was fairly lucky. His family was decently well off, his father loved him enough to brew vomit inducing nutrient rich smoothies every morning, and this was both the day of the National Championship and his 521st confession to his dream girl, Aina. As his father always said, nothing was more important than respect and persistence.

Unfortunately, everything changed that night. At the after party of ages, the world reached a saturation point and an apocalypse descended.

Abilities awakened. Sub-Dimensional Zones opened. Invalids rampaged through the Earth like a virus…

Those who could evolve would have a slim chance for survival. Those who couldn’t would die.

    This Novel is actually quite good.
    There is no Harem - major W.
    The pace is a little slow, but the English and sentence structure is good, so it's definitely readable.
    The Story is quite well-thought-out I would say, even though there are a few problematic things popping up from time to time.

    The Author happens to like putting the MC into hopeless situations and making readers think that he will definitely die this time, only to somehow muddle through again.
    MC has, in 500+ Chapters, not had a single clear win. Not a single complete stomp of the enemy.
    MC has been humiliated countless times and 'revised' his mentality more than 10 times, only for him to make similar mistakes again.
    Don't get me wrong though, this Novel really is quite well-written. And it couldn't really have been done any other way, otherwise the MC would simply already be a God from chapter 1 and the whole thing could've been finished in 300 Chapters and not the few thousand that Author 'seems' to be preparing for right now.
    To put things into Perspective: Earth is evolving into a Fourth Dimensional world from a Third Dimensional one. This took more than 500 Chapters. MC is still more or less a Third Dimensional Entity and more than once Fourth and Third Dimensional Entities have been compared as "God against Ant", so theoretically, MC should die even against an old woman at the end of her life that never focused on cultivation or the like at all. That clearly isn't the case, becuase there are countless abilities that MC has that help him bridge the gap.
    But MC is ALWAYS the weaker one in a fight, there is never a time where he completely overwhelms the enemy. This is the ultimate truth here. He has never once had a clean victory. This is a major problem readers have with this and I heard the Author has his MCs the same way in his other novels as well.

    Anyway, this is a 4/5, easily. Perhaps even a 4.5/5, but it will never be a Peak-Tier Novel. It can't.

      Actually, adding onto that. People are calling MC a simp.
      But that isn't really true.
      He loves one girl and would do anything for her, and it's become clear quite early on that she also loves him back and would go through thick and thin for him. She has trouble expressing any of her feelings, which makes it look as if she doesn't like him or just strings him along because it's convenient.

      Of course, if it is later revealed that she is really just using him, then she will simply have to die. That's all there is to it.

      Human life is worthless, just kill her if she offends in such a large manner.

      Just saying though, if you truly love someone, you WILL do anything for them. You can't really call that simping.
      In my book, being a simp is doing everything for a woman simply because she is a woman and because these people are under the illusion that they are somehow in love.

        Like, for me, Harems will never be how you can portray deep and intricate romance.
        I want romance though or no relationships at all, so I'll never read Harems. And yeah, if I want smut...

        But apparently, people are literally horny 24/7?

        I actually prefer girls as well (eye-candy for the imagination, if you will), but if there's literally a dungeon party or whatever that consists of 1 guy and 5+ girls then that's just too much. Have 1 bro in there, no? Why not. OR a full girl party, I think I'd like that as well, keep the filthy males out of there entirely.

      That's a good question.
      I think, one doesn't exclude the other.

      If something like Levels exist, how could Cultivation not exist? Cultivation is nothing but leveling, but using a different name.

      Sometimes, of course, the System is a greater entity that bestows power and Cultivation comes from within by absorbing what exists naturally.

      Why couldn't Level 1-9 be Qi Condensation Layer 1-9. Foundation Establishment is 10-18?
      Who's to say they have to be separated.

      But regardless, I prefer having either an overarching System (no administrators, because who could control the System that is giving out Power that can and will make others Gods) OR a world purely reliant on Cultivation.

      Having both would require balancing that would require a lot of thought and planning. You can't just say this is equal to this, there needs to be deeper planning involved.

          Magic is basically always used in System-stuff and Immortal Cultivation could be seen as a different way to use Magic, but it can still be seen as Magic.

          I definitely also like a Novel where the Cultivation depends on Magic, long-range stuff, wands, staffs, other foci.
          You could even do the kinda Circle 1-9 Mage stuff.
          1st Circle Beginner, 2nd Circle Acolyte, 3rd Circle Apprentice, 4th Circle Master, 5th Circle Grandmaster, 6th Circle Magus, 7th Circle High Magus, 8th Circle Archmage, 9th Circle Ascendant... and then you could still go into Immortal Cultivation.

          Essentially, in cultivation, there can't and isn't a highest realm, at least in my mind.

          Basically, the key to making something interesting is involving a Path to personal strength, supernatural energies and entities. Fantasy.

          Anyway that's my opinion on that.

              Hmm, I guess I'm just a fan of all those Cultivation/Chinese Type Novels. 9 is some kind of divine number for them, so it's always this Cycle of 9 Levels/Stages till Immortal Ascension.

              Of course you can just go with a normal Leveling System anyway.

              Level 1-100 is idk, Mortal.
              Level 101-200 is ???.
              Level 201-300 ... etc.

              You can actually just fit in the Magus names in there. But I like Immortal Ascension too much, to not to use that at like Level 900 or 1000. Fantasy isn't really Fantasy for me if you can't somehow become Immortal or God-like.

              This Novel's Dimension system is quite nice too.

              Or Nanomancer Reborn's System of Power is also nice.

              Or you go with Order. First Order Level 1-100, Second Order 101-200 etc.
              I think that Blood Warlock or whatever story has recently done something like this. Haven't read too much of it, seemed draggy.

    Okay everyone calm the f#ck down. First thing I need to mention is how everyone is complaining that he is a simp. Necessarily liking someone unconditionally does not mean he is a simp. This cause/root of this unconditional attraction he feels is hinted at by the author, probably to be further explored in the future. His feelings are also reflected by her, who progressively begins to open up to him and it becomes both ways.

    Story-wise, the universe seems expansive, with many different settings being used as well as set up for the future. The story also focuses on other characters and is not on the MC 24/7. There is growth and when read properly many things people are complaining about make sense. Sure MC is slightly OP but if you don't like OP MCs then don't read in the first place.

      I'm understand that twisted mechanic with future to past influence but it's still bs. If author want show us that this girl very special and important he can choose many other ways but he did what he did so mc is simp without any real reason except authors will.
      Simping not about reason to have attraction but it's about efforts to get target's same feelings. He spend years of tries and several time was about death (only plot armor save him) but he never get respond. How can you say that he is not simp? And you should keep in mind that she never respond him. He don't know abut her real feels. Only readers know about it so "she love him too" don't work.

      But it's not biggest problem at all, maybe even lesser. I didn't care about it till this novel overfill my cup of endurance. There was so many little details that unimportant apart but together kills any desire to read more. Mc's hypocrisy and retardness, never ending nerfing, repetitive plot, repetitive battles, predictable plot etc. Mc's opness? Multiple focused characters? Even not a problem...

      You see the Timeline in this Novel is somehow complicated. Some Times the future it self effect on your Current actions. Leonel himself got suspicious maybe its because of future that he can't leave Aina behind

    World development is good it feels solid not hollow like some other novels and the cultivation concept is also very different, new I guess, so you will enjoy it.
    Side characters also don't feel one dimensional, author is playing with dimensions here so if they did it would be very sad. Development is very slow and chapters are very short, but quality is almost always acceptable. Still considering all that has happened in the 500 chapters development is not that slow.
    MC is said to be a very caring person who will go to the worlds end if one of his loved one needed it, at the same time he is very calculative who can leave all the emotions aside if the logic dictates it. He has been fixated on a single girl for years even before the story starts, his fixation is beyond reasons, hope author has some logical explanation ahead cause MC doesn't play by emotions that much, he has proposed to her like hundreds of times, but in his defense she has never declined him so he never stopped trying. The motto of his life is "Respect and Persistence" taught by his father. He has mysterious and powerful background that he is not aware of, of course he has some guesses cause he is obviously very smart.
    Very powerful but has been beaten to the inch of life by more powerful and experienced persons more than once, author loves to put him in such situations so much so that it has become very predictable now. There is also some growth shown emotion wise.
    There is also a very complex power level system which is very hard to understand sometimes but I think that adds a life like touch to the story. Author's writing is good but sometimes explanations feels very long and unnecessary. Some chapters pass by just like that in these explanations. I can't even call them fillers cause it always has some significance somewhere, not completely useless.

    This novel has interesting and semi-unique ideas but:
    Mc biggest simp that i ever seen. He ready trow away his life for girl that delay answer for 421 attempt, lies him, gets him into trouble without alert. Yes, she have feels to him too but wtf, why she use him to deal with her family thing but not even respond to his feelings?

    Author paint this mc like super calculative mastermind but every his step wrong. Literally every single one. Mc can't even think for a minute how he can use available stuff till plot armor force him to think about. He say everytime " i'm realize my weakness. I need to change" but next time he do it again or same thing. For example: he has huge database that cover all in the world and he has ability to save information in his mind fast and precision but he always ask this database after shit happens (one question can skip 100 ch) and ask minimum to know about shit but not waht he can do with.

    Nothing go right. In the end of every event chain definitely some shit will appear out of nowhere. Author just incapable to make tension or mystery other than trow mc in trouble but every trouble's keep unfinished.
    Every fight: mc tryies hard -> mc get initiative -> shit happens -> mc near to death -> "I'M REFUSE" -> plot armor activates. Just like shounen anime where main emeny can be defeat only in second battle but here every enemy that have name is main.
    Not only battles repetitive but arcs too: he come to new place > someone get offended fo no reason > mc become isolated > mc really offend them > everyone want to kill him > he escape with good stuff with big injures.

    Mc never deserving anything in author eyes. Author nerfed mc everytime he can. All mc's effort useless coz every disabled person without arms and legs can push him around to death.

    I'm understand that moral stuff is questionable and everyone have their own point but this time mc's moral frustrate me. He's painfully righteous but also is hypocrite. I don't want write much about it. Mc's moral disgust me more than every righteous guy that i ever see.
    I'm prefer evil protagonists but don't have any problem with other type unless they consistent and not retarded. i'm okay with absolute retard mc if it's make to develop mc further but it's not our case...

    Super slow pace. Mc's world evolve from 3rd grade to 4th grade. There are 10 grades and mc's world have potential 8. 333 ch and there are several year to complete first evolution. How many chapters will need to end story i can't even say but with this "trouble under every rock" style i don't think it will be ended.

    In the end it had potential but author chose money i think. It's have interesting worldbuilding and magic mechanics but plot is garbage. Even chinese "young master after young master" repetitive trash more creativity in their repetition. Mc just retard as i'm wrote above, his personality suck and how author build world around him suck twice.
    It's has potential as Oracle Path or Supremacy Games. But i can't even force myself to read new arc...
