Honestly, the translation isn't too bad as there are much worse out there. The sect competition arc was pretty good. Lots of action, comedy, and a bit of world building. It does drag once you're onto the next arc, the secret realm. Unfortunately, lots of plot armor as the MC can have epiphanies almost at will when he's in danger (as typical of system novels). Overall, this seems more of a 'Read when you're waiting for updates' kind of novel. Good for some laughs so don't overthink it and expect that great of plots.

Really interesting so far, but the White Cave arc is just such a goddamn drag and the decrease in translation quality makes me wonder if I should even continue reading. Does it get better at all from here, or is it downhill? It's been more than a 100 chapter and the guy is still in this goddamn secret dimension, and there's a new interlude about some side-character every five chapters or so. It's getting really annoying, and that TL is so not helping.

I've read to 440. This novel has a lot of logical inconsistancies, such as crowds of people forming out of nowhere, and people acting super stupid to let the MC appear smart/cool. The 1st arc was kinda interesting, there was mystery, and actual stakes. Then the MC entered a secret realm in which one day lasts about 30+ chapters zzzz was sooo boring to read!!! Then it's basically the MC posturing for the next 300 chapters, and showboating.

The more high key he is, the more points he gets to level up his powers...he has a power that lets him sniff a pill, and enter OP god tier levels of cultivation, but he never does this except in the 1st 100 chapters. After that, the mc essentially wins all his fights by transforming into a kaiju rage berserker.

There are some funny parts. The mc blows shit up alot with his alchemy, and i wont spoil how. But that shit is pretty funny. However, it gets to the point that the mc is so high key, and well known, yet 90% of people just put up with his bullshit.

When he does offend someone powerful, he gets saved by plot armour old dudes who pop out of nowhere. He legit says "senior save me!" quite a few times into the void...and then he does get saved!!! The old dudes say something like: "young man, i can see you're awesome, join my sect!" to which the mc tells them to choke on a dick. Then that plot armour savior is like "*coughs blood* Think about it MC, join my sect! Well, I won't be pushy! Bye! I'll probably never see you again!!!"

AND THEN once the MC has proven himself over and over and over again through being high profile, people STILL doubt him, and question his ability!

Loop everything I said above and this is your story. Oh yeah, and there's some mystery about just how big the world is, why his master is in such a dinky sect (despite being OP), and people with swords have a chub for collecting uber swords. You know the classic xianxia "you're a mere frog in a well" nonsense.
