Read it. The writer's style of writing is extremely unique. It's a good novel with very little typical clichés and has original content.

I don't understand why people are reading an 'edited MTL' and bad-mouthing the novel while there are ACTUAL translations on the internet ( I use novelfull(dot)com ).

The novel is terrific and only a level below the top-tier ones. Fleshed-out characters who aren't there for the MC only, schemes, good world-building, questionable morals, unique MC, "extremely reasonable turn of events", good fighting scenes, comedy etc.

Some dude down here debating about how he despised the MC immersing in self-doubt after his first kill-
DUDE! That was 3-4 paragraphs at most! And he got over it and never remembered it. Why are you so mad about it to the point of dropping the novel and making other people do the same ?!

The novel is really good but the writer made the name too catchy and thus, people think it's mediocre.

Seriously, we should just start a fandom now, just to keep track of MC's progress.

Humanizing a mc might normally seem logical. But the whole novel is about nonsensical passive system.

Now mixing illogical world with logic won't look right.

The readers who are sympathizing mc for going through emotional trauma after killing someone are people who hold same value(non-killing). They are projecting themselves.

The readers who dislike mc's emotional state are people who are reading this novel for fun. They'd rather look past the inconsistencies of logic to enjoy the novel. But they aren't here for a emotional ride.

Now what about this novel? Does this novel wants to pursue jokes and fun? Or a novel with a human character who you would feel sorry for.

Recently I've read another comedy novel when the mc went through a emotional ride. I couldn't laugh for a single time after that. I knew in my mind that the jokes were funny but I couldn't feel the happiness in it.

Mainly if you knew a clown has a bad life. You wouldn't feel happiness from his clown act, would you?

Love the comedic actions of mc. Upcoming chapters are even more hilarious.

If you're okay with the translator going insane once in a while and forgetting the names and genders of characters, the translation is decent. The story itself is great imo.
