I claimed to be better than the MC. An Eldritch entity decided to put my claim to the test and reincarnated me into the world of the novel I read.

But, I’m not alone. There are five other reincarnates?

Wait, wait, wait! Why is the MC a regressor now? That wasn’t part of the script!

Haven’t read it yet, but by the fact that no one has replied otherwise, I believe it’s safe to assume that you’re right.

If they weren’t in denial they should’ve atleast left a reply stating their pov, instead of just downvoting.

It cannot be said that the main character is gay because at that moment he was under the influence of his 3 natures and female physiology, and it was directly stated that when he returned to his male form, he felt disgust 23

    Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5/5

When it comes to an adventure novel like this, I take into account these factors:

    1. World Building - This novel obviously gets perfect for this. Every piece of information about the world and the events are always cleverly revealed to the readers that the chapter doesn't feel like an info dump at all. Moreover, the world/s, power system, and even the creatures are unique yet totally understandable.

    2. Characters - The protagonist is smart, a given, however, he's not too overpowering, actually. Sometimes you'll find yourself wondering if this side character is the MC for how op they are getting, but still, it can clearly be discerned who our MC is. Actually, I would say that our MC is just the MAIN protagonist, because the story revolves around multiple protagonists trying to one-up each other. As for the villain, it's also hard to actually identify who's the villain and why. Although we're given the idea that that character is the antagonist, you'll later find yourself cheering up for them, even. Overall, all the characters exhibit growth, whether it be mentally or physically.

    3. Plot - I can't stress enough how great the plot is. It's always full of twists and turns, sometimes in favor of our MC, sometimes totally wrecking his plans. But fear not, MC can twist the already twisted to turn it into his advantage. The way the plot is revealed is even exciting as it is. The author finds way to tell to the readers a point of view of a character in an outstanding manner.

    4. Grammar - So far so good. Actually, even commendable. Recently, I've realized how author mixes implicit and explicit statements in one paragraph to make the readers have a smooth sail at reading. For example, "The king snuffed out his cigarette he was holding out of frustration. The nobles have taken a liking to the cigarettes MC produced." This is not in the novel, but is just an example of how the author brilliantly writes. In the first sentence, it was implicitly stated how the use of cigarettes became popular to the point of the King using it, while the second sentence explicitly stated the nobles' liking towards the use of cigarettes. My example is very rough, but in the novel, you won't even notice unless you actually look into the structuring of the sentences.

Well, I have no more to say but encourage anyone who have read this to try out the novel. It's so good that I actually think this is on par with Reverend Insanity, which I favorably look upon. Lastly, you may have read the other comments about MC being gay. No, he is not. (Spoiler upcoming, read at your own risk)

I'm happy too," Inala said, his eyes widening in surprise when Wittral planted his lips on his. It was only for a second, but he was stunned.

"Ah, I'm bloated. Seems I ate too much." Wittral casually turned around and patted his stomach. He slipped into his bed and covered himself with a blanket, "I need some rest now. We'll be leaving tomorrow. So, you too should get some sleep, Amita."

"…Yes," Inala muttered in a daze and returned to his room, taking a seat as he sported an expression of confusion, 'Yes, this happened when I was a woman.'

He patted his chest, feeling his thumping heart, muttering in surprise, "Why are you excited?"

Inala was in a state of fluster. Wittral's actions shocked him. Well, considering how much he led on the latter, it was a wonder how Wittral hadn't jumped on him yet. But what he was the most puzzled about was the fact that in his female form, his mind too had been heavily influenced to be one.

After I read this I gave up on the novel

In a comment below, I left a summary of the power system in the work at the request of a user, but I can see that it will get lost in the sea of comments, as it is an answer, so I will make it available again in my own comment.

    --------------------------------------------------------

    [Pranic Beasts]

Pranic Beasts were divided into Iron, Silver, Gold, and Mystic Grades. Each grade was then subdivided into Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Expert.

Ex: Mud Vipers were classified as Beginner Iron Grade Pranic Beasts, the lowest of the lowest. At maturity, they held a maximum of 300 Prana.

An Intermediate Iron Grade Pranic Beast maintained Prana between 300 and 600, and so on.

An Expert Gold Grade Pranic Beast like the Empyrean Tusk at maturity contains around 7,200 to 8,400 Prana. They weren't even in the same comparison dimension.

Beasts can't cultivate, they don't need to. A Gold pranic beast is born with Gold potential, all it takes is time and adequate nutrition to reach its peak power.

Only through mutations and evolutions can a beast break its limit and rise the species to a new rank.

My conclusion is that beasts are generally much stronger than cultivators, but cultivators have the advantage of versatility. (Note: In the story itself it is said that humans are not the top of the continent's food chain, but beasts are)

    --------------------------------------------------------

    [Cultivation]

There are four Stages of Cultivation in Sumatra: Spirit, Body, Life and Transcendence. (See chapter 108)

    > Spirit was the first stage on the path of cultivation. It focused on refining the cultivator's mind and soul.

In the Spiritual Stage, a cultivator could refine and control an object as if it were an extension of their body. The cultivators of the Mammoth Clan refined and controlled the bones.

The ability was similar to psychokinesis and decently lethal. By refining a piece of bone, Inala was imprinting his Spirit into it, thus being able to control it. The refined object would become the cultivator’s exclusive Spiritual Weapon.

Everyone only used one Spiritual Weapon to fight, as the skill's effectiveness dropped exponentially when more than one Spiritual Weapon was controlled at the same time.

One would reach the peak of the Spiritual Stage after accumulating 100 Prana. But the greater the Prana in your body, the greater the pressure on your Spiritual Vessels. Because, the Spiritual Vessels were connected to the body. And the strain on their bodies really took its toll on them.

Note: Basically the Spirit stage is about accumulating 100 Prana in your body, the way each individual does this depends on the technique and their intentions. In general, every time you keep a point of Prana in the body, a spiritual container is formed. These containers are fragile and can "break" if the individual suffers too great a mental shock, thus wasting cultivation efforts.

    *
    > The Body

When a Mammoth Clan accumulated 100 Prana and stabilized their Spiritual Vessels, they would reach the zenith of the Spiritual Stage. After that, once they fused the 100 Spiritual Containers into a single, stable Spiritual Container, they would enter the Corporal Stage.

Once they reached the Corporal Stage, a member of the Mammoth Clan would capture a Pranic Beast egg and begin refining it. The eggshell fell under the influence of the Mystic Bone Art, including the contents inside. Therefore, it could be refined.

Once the egg is fully refined, it will fuse with the Spiritual Vessel, thus becoming one with the members of the Mammoth Clan, allowing them to transform into the aforementioned Pranic Beast. They gain all of the Pranic Beast's powers, including its Prana Ability.

Innately, a human's Spiritual Vessel can only hold 100 Prana. But after this fusion process, the cultivator's Spiritual Container becomes the Pranic Beast itself, gaining its characteristics, thus being able to store more Prana.

(Note: The so-called Free Humans scale their cultivation differently. They use minerals (metals such as iron, gold, etc.) to form their body. Each metal has a property and with the right techniques they can use these minerals and evolve in cultivation. It is said in one part of the novel about a mineral called "Kinesis" that drastically increases one's powers of telekinesis. In short, each mineral has its own property.)

    *

    > Life

This stage is the last stage before Mythic. I don't remember much about what makes the beasts different at this stage, other than pure power and longevity, but for all humans it's something very simple.

Every cultivator at this stage is in a sense cultivating a new life. They cultivate other bodies and move up the stage. A cultivator at the Life-1 rank is simply someone who has completed their body.

That's a lot of overpower. You see, someone at the Life-2 stage or higher can use their other lives with a clone and fight with two bodies, or can accumulate these bodies within themselves to increase their power.

The novel shows an individual who divides into 4 (Stage Life-4) and runs away to different places. It turns out that if just one of his clones survives and he stays alive, his only job is to cultivate new clones again.

It has also shown someone cultivators dying and instantly returning with a new body, what only happens is that the cultivator drops in rank when losing 1 clone. If he loses a clone/life at the Life-3 rank he drops to the Life-2 rank and his total power is only 2 accumulated bodies as opposed to 3.

Each Stage is a second or third life for cultivators. The maximum stage is 10 lives, after which the cultivator will merge the 10 lives into one and reach the Transcendent stage.

(Note: I don't remember completely, but free humans at this stage can use "Avatars". The Avatar's power is not fully explained, but in one scene a powerful Free Human used the Avatar to eradicate a residence in a palm strike giant; On the other hand, members of the Mammoth Clan can completely transform into the beast they used to form their body, correct me if I'm wrong).

    *

There is also the [Devastated Tribes] system, but each one is unique and depends on the master Beast.

In short [Devastated Tribes] are tribes slaves to a beast seeking mutation or evolution. When a beast uses a mark on inferior humans it enslaves them. From then on, she uses her genes to make these humans undergo mutations and create a unique cultivation system. The objective is for these humans to give you "feedback" that can assist in your own evolution or mutation.

Yes, this works, a little spoiler: There mammoth tribe started as a slave clan that adapted and helped the beasts mutate into an Empyrian Tusk. They function as an "immune system" that feeds the entire tribe precisely because of this evolution. From then on, the Mammoth Tribe lives a relationship of brotherhood and symbiosis with the Empyrian Tusk, they see them as their deities.

There is a small spoiler to understand this.

During his cultivation he fuses with an egg of a "Queen Beast" (Female), this is theoretically impossible given his male sex, however he uses a loophole and manages to accomplish this. Thanks to this he gains a gender transformation that comes with new powers. So he has two forms, one male and one female, the "Queen" form has some VERY USEFUL unique abilities.

In my opinion this didn't affect much, the MC uses this more as a disguise, his main presence in the novel is in male form, he didn't change his sexual orientation or transform the novel into a "Yuri" because of this ability.
