Su Yu grew up in a single-parent family with his father.

He lived a relatively simple life and was not someone with grand ambitions. He only aspired to join a research academy and get a job as a researcher, staying far away from the dangerous battlefield. His peaceful life was shattered one day when his father, a retired veteran, decided to return to the battlefield.

Worried about his father, Su Yu embarked on a journey to gain enough strength to join his father on the battlefield. What was the fastest way to gain strength?

Joining a war academy.

Or was that really the case? Su Yu soon learned that the path of a researcher was not as it seemed. Unlike the war academies that focused on physical cultivation, the research academies walked a different path: mental cultivation.

Which path would Su Yu choose?

Join Su Yu in his adventures as he walks a unique path of cultivation and rises to the apex of cultivation. Collapse

In case anyone might be wondering, I'm pretty sure this was also translated as Apocalypse of all Races at some earlier point.

But of course since it was from WN, it was a pretty trashy translation, so I dropped it back then.

Hope WW does a better job with it!

Fr I don't mind that the mc takes care of them (if they aren't annoying) but I really hate it when they are way more talented than the mc.

I like it though when there's a little sister to take care of. It gives some MC the burden of choice and mostly to keep MC human. But the trope where sister is "shockingly" unrelated by blood or just to keep in the line of possible harem is trash to me. Authors who do that are trashy too.

Yeah but why does it always have to be a little sister and rarely if ever a little brother?

Because little sisters are cute. Little brothers arent as adorable. As someone who has a sister myself, i tend to be more protective.

This one is quite better for urban martial arts novel. He got his father. No Little Sister. Have mentor from famous academy. Got cheat like a book which absorbs monster blood and gives him cultivation method or innate power. Another university and goes into space novel like swallowed star.
