the real life stuff is honestly making this hard to read

At Chap 127. Overall, it is a pretty decent novel, but have dropped it for now. The MC is a very feminine looking guy who has a very overprotective family. There is also tons of girls who are crazy over him, including his youngest sister and mother. There is a cult of students from his school (even though he dropped out) who are still obsessed with him.

His sister even has a shrine with a ton of pictures of him in her room...

In the game these 3 random girls decided that, going forward, they would dedicate their all to protecting him and even gave him an item that allowed him to be revived.

His choice of love interest is also the generic extremely innocent and nice girl. Like a few other ones with VR games, she's hospitalised and very weak in real life.

If you like those things, definetly try this novel out. Personally for me the obsessiveness of all girls who meet him, alongside his love interest type isn't for me. But how he acts and what he does when fighting monsters/other players as well as when he's in dungeons and there's none of that stuff kept me engaged for quite a while.

Been keeping up with this one for a while now, it's a decent VR novel. I like that it isn't a harem, the MC is more unique than standard MC's, I really like any section where there is actual fights. Honestly wish there was a Vr novel that revolved more around guns like this one sorta does, if anyone knows a good one lemme know. There is a bit of mystery but I feel like some of it was revealed too soon. The setting itself is pretty good, i like how the author puts a lot of emphasis on seasons and goes all in with it, making the game and real world both quite interesting. The novel distances itself from usual VR novels which typically have a sword fighter MC, magic using mc, or a hybrid and goes with using guns, which is pretty cool but is in no way the meta choice so the mc is frequently in tough fights. On webnovels it was annoying sometimes since the chapters are not the longest, and some have a feeling like they are filler, even if they aren't. The MC himself might look girly but he ain't a bitch, and has shown himself to be a bit of a short king, he isn't dense or beta, is pretty much a genius, and has good determination shown by how he works out frequently even tho he gets no gains, which is his big weakness. Overall right now the novel gets a 7-8/10 from me, a solid good novel, could use less filler chapters and more combat, dungeons, and such.
