no direct spoiler review but there are subtle hints and the obvious were said.

it takes about 300 chapters to fully setup the characters and positions, settings and factions. every few chapters mc needs to mention his tragic trauma which in ways was self harmed again. every mention of fml they end up talking about her toes for reason unknown. Every enemy acts exactly the same, crude tasteless swearing and guarantee publicly unacceptable behaviour.

Then it hits through rock bottom, leaving enemy alive while mc is still vulnerable, got publicly praised for getting beat up by a grunt he slain before in public while revealing a nvr to be revealed trump card with no gains for doing so[ btw mc took a gun to a swordfight for that one]. He does the same thing by revealing his fathers major secret which can effect humaniyy for the worst, while providing the media himseld via cops.

mcs every step is an exercise to shoot himself and everyone around him in their foot. The antagonist in the novel are just thugs made stronger by mc, after that its the typical genre enemy in fantasy.

combat was written poorly usually its written per tempo and if needed a perspective change it will change with the conflicts morale.
This novel outright skips range when convenient and at time reduced to turn based descriptions with mc having more turns and enemy moves would assume mc is just there to show if he re ieve a hit or not. Not as jarring if its melee but mc uses a rifle so range and tempo is paramount.

I read a ton of bad novels but never had one butcher my tolerance as efficiently as this one.

Really good book i'd say - only small problem is the ever so popular trope of the game affecting reality and you gotta find gods and shit. I wished it was just about the game. Slow pace, probably been a couple of weeks in story after 380 chapters which I can appreciate. Overall a nice binge read.
If you get annoyed at a male's appearance getting constantly praised to look like a girls like some people over at webno*el, don't read. I actually rather enjoyed it, although yeah it can get a bit much, but at this point, there's no going back - the author *has* to put or it'll ruin the flow.
I do recommend it.

So, I have read till chapter 351 and here's my review. This is my opinion of the story and shouldn't cloud the judgement of any newbies reading the story. The summary is for those who want to give this story a chance.

My summary: In short this story is as frustrating as Overgeared on WuxiaWorld. The development of Isaac the MC is in a similar manner as Grid from OG mentioned above. MC doesn't have any drive, he simply wants to see what the hype is regarding white online. But then he starts changing and the way he plays reflects this. Something caught his attention finally and now he has a goal.

The growth of Isaac and story development is very slow since till chapter 351 only 2-3 weeks have passed from the release of the game white online. But the change is good to see, even if he still frustrates you but I believe the author has an end plan and things are starting to get interesting alongwith the multiple foreshadowing. So, all in all this story has potential and can be read to pass time.

Honestly it decent, the story is good, with plenty of foreshadowing and world building. The characters are odd but varied. The story is slow though with mediocre fighting scenes and random plots everywhere.

I’d give it a solid 3.8 - 4.0

My biggest gripe is the MC, sometimes he is smart and well written with solid strategies pushing through dangerous moments and other times the author writes him as an idiot to push a plot point or new arc. His strength and abilities are constant flowing from badass to dumbass all the time.
