    Read up to early chapters in 100s.

    At first the story seemed interesting but as story progressed there was obviously a clear lack in a main story or mystery that seemed interesting enough.

    Tbh I got bored after reading to ch 100+. We know close to nothing about the world they are in (other than the system that everyone supposedly has). Plus the people don’t question anything and it seems like everyone is just playing their role in participating in the “game” or whatever that world is…basically, World builing SUCKs in this story. It reads like a bunch of confusing dialogues between characters you don’t really care about because they are continually shrouded in mystery and everyone has unrealistic stoic personas that don’t have capabilities for real emotions.

    The author isn’t really capable of conveying emotions in his characters and also sucks at world bulding.

    However, if you like the political manipulating bullshit then maybe you’ll like this story. Oh the yandere waifu is also great but it’s frustrating that their relationship is just glossed over and not of much importance.

    I would say the premise and ideas are great but they are poorly executed.

      Hi, someone who finished the novel here. It's by no means to antagonize you, but I wanted to share my viewpoint regarding your claims. For the benefit of the readers.

      One of the first few sentences in the novel was "YOU HEROES NEED TO HELP US OR THE WORLD IS DOOMED. AND YOU WILL ALSO BE DOOMED SINCE IT'S NOW YOUR WORLD AS WELL." That's why they even bothered summoning the earthlings. The unfolding of the threat and unknown past life (there's regressor in the title, ofc there is one) seems like a plenty enough to keep reading for me. That's just for me, ofc. Others may feel different.
      From where I stand, we know everything we need and want about the world.
      Yeah, they don't question it so often, because they are too bothered with survival. And the reason was, once again, clearly stated at the beginning, so the most they can do is getting stronger in anticipation. It's not like they even can find out more. From the viewpoint of a random adventurer A ofc.
      I found lots and lots of emotions by the way. The whole premise is about MC who manipulates and distorts emotions. There is no irrelevant dialogues if you consider that, and there is not much stoic people either.
      Are their characters unrealistic? Maybe yeah. To me they were just distorted, due to great pressure and whole new environment they were forced in. It was just some of them and to a varying degree, but I had found it rather realistic, to a certain extent.
      Political bullsh.... You're from Ch. 100s, huh... Honestly, in a world where judicial specialists and forensic scientists aren't a thing (more less a medieval world), manipulating the public opinion and forging evidence is a deadly trap that probably noone will be able to avoid... Sounds quite solid to me.
      And waifu, huh.. She got plenty of spotlight and attention.

      We happen to disagree, but I appreciate you took the time to share your somewhat argumented review.

      As for the others, I propose to just try and see for yourself.

                The fact they don't remember is part of the fun. MC gets f#ck a bunch of different girls in different timelines, and the manhwa just completely removes anything related to that. Fu#king girls and getting strong is what a man of culture wants, not just one or the other.

          The webtoon is way worse IMO, its only good until they leave the tutorial. The webtoon author changes the story to make MC into a femboy and makes him almost get raped by dudes, also adds cringe comedy every single chapter.

    the mc dumbass harem caused me to drop it and become traumatized gloom
    hes not smart, just has plot armor. hes not ruthless, hes a politically correct mc. not an anti hero, just anti getting toyed with somtimes🤔. not a strategist just an average person who has plot armor and weak around alot of strong ppl so he has no choice but to utilize his cheat the best he can i guess. this novel hurts my eyes and not what i expected to read

        maybe, i dropped it around the time i wrote the review. i dont remember what chapter it was. There's been a lot of novels between then and now. At a certain point I tend to feel I'm in too deep and might as well catch up or finish. but, for this story that was not the case. It was extremely cringe and hard for me to continue reading, i just couldn't continue. u may have a different opinion but that is mine. i do not like this story at all. it was not what i expected to read when i started. sometimes thats a good thing but for this, it was bad.

    I didn't check the tags and I though I was going to read a dark and gritty story, and I was pleasantly surprised at the hilarious moments.
    . I hope you like reading about a manipulative amoral mc fighting against other manipulative and uh some good alignment antagonists.

      i agree but i still do like the story and give it a 6/10 here :d you should just read it if u wanna pass ur time and do not have any top tier novel left to read since this is a light read without much logic into it but is still fun at some point...idk maybe i just read too many trash novels recently that this looks like a good1 to me

    I have read around 300 chapters of the novel. I do like it and the novel has some very good moments, but there are also a number of problems which make it very painful to read the novel. The start is decent and where there is a lot of progression for the mc. As we dig deeper into the story the progression if the mc comes to a crawl, even when there is any progression it doesn’t have any impact as the mc hardly involves himself in “actiony” affairs. It turns into a more political style novel. Politics in this type of novel are extremely shallow, and any sort of political conflicts are resolved quite simply by our mc due to some convenient circumstances.

    There are also problems with how the translation is handled. A lot of times it is extremely confusing who is speaking what. All you have is a bunch of quoted statements which usually don’t have much context attached to each. So it extremely difficult to discern who is speaking a particular statement. More so when there are more than 2 people it becomes even more bad. We sometimes can’t even understand who is speaking to whom. Though with time you get better at this even after 300 chapters I sometimes get confused regarding this.

    Coming to the good points the main appeal would be characters and their interactions. Though the presence of “extreme” personalities could be disliked by some the situations which arise because of them are generally entertaining. There is also the schemes of the MC which do shine sometimes regardless of the “coincidences” that usually happen. There is also some amount of drama related to the main character and some of the related side characters which works really well. Some comedic elements also work well for the story.

    Overall its a well thought out story with a decent but annoying translation. Would recommend to people to at least try it out despite its shortcomings.

    This thing has the most infuriating translations i have ever read. Half the time i don’t even know who is speaking. They keep using hyung nim or nothing at all a lot of the time. The context is not enough to tell who spoke what.
