He initially believed he was in a world on the eve of a conflict similar to World War I, but quickly discovers the actual situation is far more bizarre. For starters, why is he, an Imperial soldier, allied with volunteers from the International Brigades?!

    Hmm, good novel. 8/10 will recommend.
    My only concern is whether the author will make the MC’s life miserable. Like constantly throwing him into wars where the risk of death is high, giving him no rest, and forcing him to keep fighting without pause.

    It's a pretty promising novel. So far no propaganda, and it seems pretty open minded. Even the protag is aware of what he's doing.
