Han Cai had a very good life, as he was born into a wealthy merchant family. He had access to anything he wanted, and he was always safe, protected by guards at all times. His family was one of the wealthiest in the town, and no one dared to offend them.

All of this was going to change. Han Cai's father was taking him to the Sky Soaring sect, where he would begin his life as a cultivator.

His past life was filled with regret and loneliness, and he was grateful for the opportunity to start anew in the world.

    Read up to the current chapter (86). It's good imo, just don't go into it expecting the MC to remain low-key and you'll enjoy things.

    Whilst he does start off being fairly low-key and cautious, once he gets some power he quickly realises he likes being praised or shocking people, and so decides to not hide as much. That being said, he still remains cautious and is fairly intelligent, which is very nice to see. His system is pretty all-encompassing, so not only does he use it to get stronger, he can use it in order to scan people/things/food etc. and even find out plots against him, so that he can remain fairly safe, whilst being important enough to the sect to recieve benefits. It's nice to see that he makes sure not to fall into some of the common traps/cliches as well.

    Only real complaints are that sometimes there are some weird "<novelnext>" things within the text, but thats almost definetly come from however the novel was imported here, rather than being in the original. Other than that, there was 1 chapter where for some reason a conversation was presented in a script/play format, rather than the usual novel one, but that hasn't occurred again, so am guessing it was a one-off.

    The actual story itself is good and with only a few mistakes here and there which don't ruin things, which is impressive given the author mentions he can't afford a proofreader and is doing this whilst also being a corporate employee. Hopefully he keeps this up! Am looking forward to reading more.
