          My Disciples are All Villains (NOT stupid, surprisingly good, and deeper plot than the name)
          My Senior Brother is Too Steady (very deep plot, coincides with Chinese myths of Heavenly Court)
          My Girlfriend From Turqoise Pond (very similar to the Senior brother is too steady but less mythology)
          Solo Leveling ( THE great classic of all LitRPG, Korean, what LITRPG are compared to)
          Seoul Station Necromancer
          Everyone Else is a Returnee
          The Tutorial is Too Hard

          The Best ever? Most people will say "Renegade Immortal" or "Reverend Insanity" But I didn't like either - too dark, too evil for me. It made me uncomfortable and unhappy to read them.

          I've started many other webnovels... Against the Gods, Dragon Marked War God, Sage Monarch, ect. I dropped due to either stupid plot or stupid MC. One I did like but the translation couldn't keep up was 9 Star Hegemon Body Art, but it's like 5k chapters and still going on. I give up on it. I won't even live to see the end of that novel from what it seems.

        He is not vain, and hates being praised. Everything he does is only after careful consideration, how he can earn resources but still remain safe. Never forget the core personality of the MC - he was a house bound otaku who died a lonely life, afraid to leave his home. He is terrified of this world, it seems a lot more vicious and violent than most xianxia to the common people.

        Once his perception got higher, he began to feel threats everywhere. He's afraid for his family being targeted because he's a core disciple. He's afraid of the freaks of his own sect that sneak into his quarters and knock him out. He's afraid of the secret plots, being targeted and poisoned, he's afraid of the dangers his supernatural perception is detecting - strong cultivators, ect.

        He's got PTSD. Very different personality than most MCs in the genre, he's not handling the violence, torture, and killings well.

      I mean, from my perspective as well as most reasonable people, 1 star should be reserved for novels that are literally unreadable and don't have anything compelling about them. If you don't have a basis for how you review then it doesn't make sense to review in the first place. Otherwise it'll just always be reviews of either 5 or 1 star.

          There you are! Thank you, your book is magnificent. I'm getting the feeling of a house bound otaku who died a lonely life, then got reincarned into a brutal yet still beautiful cultivation world.

          I am getting the feeling the MC is a little mentally ill. He's reacting to fear. It influences all of his decisions. I like how he is cautious, meticulous, tries to make "few mistakes", and when he strikes it is with the overwhelming force of an elder scrolls stealth archer.

          Well, you should be writing rather than reading this!

          I hope you can stick with it. At least another 1k chapters, and if you keep it up, I think your novel is capable of being cited by the community as one of the best. Imagine being mentioned in the same breath as ISSTH, Renegade Immortal, etc.

      Besides the original 1 point per day he got by default, he chose to upgrade the system and chose 'Earth' first so that he could absorb spirit stones and then chose to act in such a way that he was/is able to get more of them. If you ignore all that and still believe the system does all the work, then that is true for literally ALL systems - be it sign in, exchange, stats/skills, game, quests etc. They are the ones which provide things to the host - be it level ups, stats, bloodlines, rewards, skills etc.

      If you have an issue with that, then its clear you aren't a fan of systems in general. Which is totally fine, but perhaps avoid things which literally have "system" in their name then.

      His system is extremely strong and all-encompassing, no doubt about that. But so far it hasn't been the one to do all the work at all imo. There are some out there, particularly sign in systems, where the system literally rewards/gives the MC exactly what they need whenever they just so happen to need it. Or ones where the system forces the MC to do quests or die. This system hasn't done any of that so far - MC has been the one to choose what to cultivate, level up, add as a source etc.
