the story development is superb, the plots aren't repetitive, the enemies and other characters are f#cking smart, cunning, mysterious, and not one-dimensional, author doesn't shy away from killing them and make new ones, there's no harem, no hateful bitches, and minimum side plots.

now the MC, he's rational, logical, and cold, but interesting and "humane" enough for you to get excited and cheer him on. he's a chaotic neutral, so he doesn't go around killing and refining people into lucky charms, looting their wealths, snatching their souls, and cucking mfs, f#ck no, i could even say that he's giving, fair, and sometimes kind to some extent

if you remember of the old 'Heaven Defying Cultivators' trope, you probably cringed a little, but the core of that idea is actually really good and proper. the MC –Negary– is the embodiment of defying fate and continuous improvement. at no point in the story you'd find a scene let alone an arc where he's being lazy, resting on his laurels, or deploying his clones like many many stories, no, he didn't had any cheats, hell his starting point was so low it's f#cking ridiculous, so the only thing he could do is fighting for every morsels

in my opinion, this one is in the same tier as Lord of the Mysteries, the only thing lacking was the translation. the normal TL even stopped at 500-ish, so ig we'll never know
