These people are truly annoying. Are y'all having so much by comparing two books? [ Top Tier Providence and this one] Listen I love both of these books and I am really confused why we must compare two books just for competing on what's better? We are all here to have a good time and I am 100% sure that we can continue with our life without having an argument on which book has better quality. There is no competition here, dear fellas!

In some parts better version of secretly Cultivate for thousand years...first 100 chapters might feel really boring.. It gets interesting only when wen zing joins the game..

This novel is pretty decent and I already knew what I was getting myself into when I started reading this, but honestly it gets boring quite easily after a while. Sure the nature of the MC may be attributed to the fact and I've read "Top Tier Providence" which in some aspects are similar to this novel and in a few cases can be considered even more boring with how the MC for the most part tends to hide and cultivates all day, but I actually find that novel a lot more enjoyable. This novel's chapters are long and often redundant with not much happening, while the translation also leaves much to be desired. There's also the fact that this novel doesn't place much emphasis on cultivation, more so being on the MC remaining steady and his various scheming and whatnot. Maybe it was my mistake in trying to binge read this, but the enjoyment I had in the initial hundred or so chapters has considerably waned as the novel progressed. It's also quite off putting with how much importance is place on seniority and how often it's used to force the MC into situations he wants no part in. He's constantly sucking up to people and bending his back trying to please those in power to not get on their bad side. Then there's the Saints who order him about as they wish, but they're like gods in this novel and the MC just happily accepts everything. Pretty disappointing for how overhyped this novel is.

I have a question, whose POV is this novel in? I love 'top tier providence' and came here looking something similar but I'm not interested if the POV is from his junior sister. If POV shift to MC, will it stay with him or change to other people later?
I can deal with occasional POV from others but not if it done regularly.

I don't know why but it's so hard to comprehend the story, there is many little parts thing.
It's maybe author's writing style or translation lack.
There is many instances where characters gender swap, which character talking is confusing, sudden none relative topic's come out so hard.

Novel that truly applies the meaning; “dao of low key.”

For those of you who have read too much generic xianxia, this novel is like a breath of fresh air to you!

No cliches. The plot is always forward, without bullshit. Arrogant young master? Meh, almost 100% no such things.

The little details that the author throws in—which readers often forget—always make a real contribution to the story. It's trivial things as this that I like about this novel.
