The story themed about similar journey from martial art to immortal cultivation. But in this novel, the spiritual would decline and reviving E ery 60.000 years. And mc now is at the end of the decline, so when it reach chapter arround 200,the spiritual started to change. So far from early the growth of mc is wholesome, his village is kind, his doctor is kind, his daily + cultivation is refreshing. But after the start of spiritual change, I don't know but author just keep introducing "unintended enemy" for MC but turn out they are really evil, and mc just kill them/overpowered them, it get repeated. Take example when MC stopping assassination for some young master of a family than good relationships with mc, MC kill the assassin(it get famous). Then later the assassin organization send assassin for MC, MC kill the assassin, then MC learn one the stronghold, then MC massacred the stronghold on which fortunately there some evil young master too there. Turn that out young master family(ancestor) is evil, and MC went killing lot of it. All of this happens without break. Then just few chapter later, MC and his master went journey, accidentally went in town that get rampaged by some major Sect(which later turn out to be evil). MC kill all of the discipline of that Sect, then MC went to restaurants in some town and somehow that sect's young master offend mc by asking her little sister, MC kill them with and again turn out that young master is also evil, then MC went to that YM Sect, and the ancestors turn out evil sacrificing the entire Sect, and his master kill him. Yes his master doctor Chen with MC help become so OP. And few chapter later it happen again. All of this happen after arround chapter 200 without break of mc daily life. And it feels like different novel. Which for me it ruined the slow life mood from early chapter and it make the world+mc is so bland. I like mc is ruthless, but it just inconsistent
