            Tbh 90% of the people reading novels probably have no clue how much work needs to put in a half-decent novel. Much less The Legendary Mechanic which is a truly though out novel (despite the ending being somewhat rushed and the quality slightly dropping). The author is justifiably worn out. He went and started a similarly or even more extensive novel like Astral Apostle and quickly realized he needs to take a break before he literally breaks.

            Will he return or not ? Honestly not sure.

            It was not dropped per say, Author said he needed to take a long break because of his health issue and doctor recommendation. but seeing how the book is going with this latest arc, he should just drop it and start another novel with sic-fi like TLM instead of xianxia trash

    Why didn't Bill acquire more nature spirits and settle only to wind? since sorcerer path is not dangerous.
    he should acquire more elements while idle leveling, roman even has 3 elements.

    He also should learn spear techniques in modern world since it is much more advance and complete compilation of other worlds why bother lesrning bsckwsrd spear techniques.
    Technically he can learn as much battle techniques in modern world and just adapt it to apostle to farm some attributes.

    The story become boring, i guess this will be a long reapetitive cycle until uncovering countless worlds
    too much info dump.

        Not really the lowest, his talent was between green and
        It was explained that if one feel relaxed to certain elements they can absorb it but if not they cannot.

        He was tested by roman and got the most affinity compatibility to gale and earth.
        based on what he sense during awakening he can absorb more elements, also i think he has to try some elements to tell if it was really compatible since his main body already has the body cultivation of thunder element.

        Since it was not dangerous, why not try, it will make the story adventure interesting but instead it focuses on boring stuff.

      Bill has limited talent and time. Which both are connected. For him it was more important to reach a higher combat realm than just pursue quantitive improvement due to limited resources. Yet gain before he had any chance to explore more of the system he lost access to him.

      He also should learn spear techniques in modern world since it is much more advance and complete compilation of other worlds why bother lesrning bsckwsrd spear techniques.
      Technically he can learn as much battle techniques in modern world and just adapt it to apostle to farm some attributes.


      His homeworld has a way more tigh grip on knowledge. This is mostly for the good of the cultivator so he doesn't make inexperience mistakes. Though that is much worse for the MC. So long you can prove you can reasonably use a certain amount of knowledge "safely" you can be given access to easily. Mc can't do that easily. He will have to first upgrade his martial arts apostle into an eternal one before he can do that. A limiter kind of thing.

      It's ~260 chapters and arguably we are still in the initial stage of the whole thing. The MC has only visited rudimentary/elementary worlds. "Info dumps" are to be expected we are still exploring the multiverse of this book. Without those info dumps everyone would complain about the author not explaining. Besides the balance between the plot moving , action and info dumps is quite decent. Though I don't know if the TL made changes since I read the raws only.

        The MC literally notices that what Chen Feng thinks is kinda bullshit but simply doesn't care. His job is just to fulfill his wish. Whether that wish is good or bad or justifiable doesn't matter.

    Story seems interesting enough, though I became quite disappointed that death doesn't mean anything in astral realms, in fact mc gets rewarded for dying. As reader it just sucks out so much tension and immersion for no reason.

    I patiently got to around ch350, but it wasn't worth it.

    Maybe for some people like super fans of their previous work or younger folk it's a fine story but to me it was mostly just boring agony.

    So much filler, repetition of information, telling but not showing, barely fleshed out characters with a big roles, an all-too-rarely compelling plot, and all kinds of mistakes characteristic of bad cultivation novels.

    The author really dropped the ball on this one.
