make the main character a little greedy so he accumulates points faster

This is a subjective opinion based in a critic view and comparison with many other novels of the genre take it with a grain of salt.

I did a review some time ago praising the pacing and some other aspects, sadly it does not stand as right now.
At the begining until half of the way is more than fine but as now the novel suffers from the break neck speed in some mayor ways.
First we are intruduced to 17 states in some continent and by novel knowledge and context clues you know that this is a continent crawler (not a bad thing per se) the problem here is that the speed is so quick that
Second the side characters and companions cant keep the pace of the martial progress and if they somehow manage it shouldnt be happening by context (well except one but still suss) is not posible to make lasting conections or apreciate some goofy personality of some guy and i believe that the Mc cant carry a compeling story alone.
Third and last personality trait of the MC is caring, wanna be strong and family, two of those are side lined pretty hard by the speed of progress and lose almost total relevance wish end up with the MC limp and a generic story.

Mc have such an amazing cheat but leads one of the most mundane life. Imagine what he could do if he sneak into pill shops to steal spiritual points, find hidden places with treasures, go on adventures etc.. but no author will tell you the boring life of a patrol guard and one of the only fun part when he accumulate martial points even got skipped to make time for yet another "and this will blow your mind" boring tourment. yuck. This truly test the limit of your patience when even a radom idea from you is better than author's half the book build up.

I’m enjoying this novel quite a lot, anyone have any similar recommendations to this novel?

This is actually good, idk what all the others hating on. this is better then 99% of the webnovels.

I'm not sure if other review talking about MC being passive is based on the full novel, but based on what's available on here as of today, he isn't really passive at all, other than what is necessary given his level of skills.

If its based on right at the start, then it doesn't make sense AT ALL for him to be anything BUT passive given he is literally brand new in this world, only had an external knife skill at beginner level (with no internal skill whatsoever) and with his identity of being an outsider in the village.

After he levelled up a bit and got stronger, like most MCs, he did more stuff:



He reveals his power level increases fairly soon after they occur, without hiding them excessively and has gotten the attention of the higher ups in a positive way.

As it is now he seems to have the perfect balance of caution given his power level compared to others, but also revealing it when necessary to get more benefits/resources.

He definitely hasnt been like some MCs who just rush into things without thinking, but for me not being like that is a big positive.
