Growing up parentless, Shi Yan, who was left with a large inheritance money, bore a general disinterest in life. The only times he felt alive was when adrenaline coursed thorough his veins. He quickly found that extreme sports, bungyjumping, cave diving & skydiving, gave him the biggest kicks. The bigger the adrenaline kick, the closer he was to death, the more alive he felt.

Waking up in a pile of dead bodies in an unknown land, after a diving adventure had ended disastrously, he quickly realizes the body he now possessed was not his own.

Follow Shi Yan as he explores this new world where danger lurks around every corner, and death is only a breath away; a world in which Shi Yan could not feel any more alive. Collapse

First novel that I went through beginning to the end proud because I am very fickle when it comes to reading thanks for the read I felt he blood pumping in my veins from him fighting back in the beginning with the white fog till the end with the star powers and killing the mastermind I am proud and thankful for this journey I finished it a while ago but saw it again while scrolling and had to write again hope to see something like this that keeps me reading till the end

It's a good story. I give it a 4/5. Lot's of gore and slaughter but that is apparent from the title. The story is super repetitive though. First he becomes the strongest in his village, then his city, then his state, then his country, continent, planet, solar system, star field, galaxy, cluster of galaxies, universe, multiverse, holy shit. Just tap out whenever you've had enough. No need to finish reading it.

I dropped this 10 chapters before the finally, first even webnovel I've ever read and boy was I too stupid to just drop it early on, kept thinking it would get better for some reason.

Repetitive garbage, pretty sure the author just ended it abirtirtally aswell because it could of kept going or gotten an information dump and ended at the end of almost all arcs.

The foreshadowing and builds don't really pay off after hundreds of chapters of waiting.

P.S. I didn't know how cliche this was until I read other novels ,_,

The biggest problem with this story is that with ever power level up of the main character a new stronger enemy appears and beats up the MC and he survives or flees due to some BS plot armor. And then next power up he kill this enemy but a new one appears almost instantly. It doesn't fit the name of the story really.

It also of course has the usual; go to new area and suddenly everyone and his dog have a higher cultivation level than the MC at a much younger age.

It was the trend for a while big stories like MGA had it as well its why i dropped that one, this story is from the same time that was 'popular' This authors other story is much better though "Great Demon King"

I finished this and I can say that this is worth it. The beginning is the best part but also the worst part, depending how you look at it. It's the best because the mc is the most awesome and ruthless then, but also the worst cuz it's slow. later on it evens out and just becomes an interesting book with good pacing and characters, plus a couple surprising plot twists. There's not that many cliches in this one, and almost no young masters in the second half.

At the beginning I really liked the novel, but it's becoming full of fillers, it feels like someone else wrote the beginning chapters. The mc is becoming more of a wuss the deeper you go, the mc was introduced to be a ruthless man who enjoyed killing at the beginning, an extreme adrenalin junkie but the opposite is shown in the later chapters, the author is not sticking to the narrative. Also some little moments that make a novel enjoyable and special are nonexistent here. The main problem is the attitude of the mc, he keeps changing from a tough guy to a wussy that almost got enslaved, and also forgives his enemies, like come on man you're supposed to be ruthless. Btw I'm writing this only out of frustration cause I think this novel could of been so much more.
