Роман очень хороший , но у автора большие проблемы с математикой , в частности с арифметикой. Пример : были 4 комплекта трав , из них 3 провалились , а успешно 2. А так всем советую

One of the better cultivation novels I've read, like ever. MC is ruthless, 1000iq and doesn't do cliché shi.

Lol they finally started translating these, mc gets even more badass in later chapters. Its full of scheming and treachery

Standard trash tier cultivation novel, author asspulls the entire plot --> no internal logic to the cultivation system, cheat or events. Everything is mostly convenient. MC hides strength and mostly everything works out well for him all the time. Dropped after chapter 270 +

It is refreshing that the novel has a calm tone, there is not much screaming or overly exaggerated emotional outbursts you see in other novels of this kind. The morals and ethics are more ruthless and have a dark tone. Side characters act in their own interests and act somewhat logical. Same is true for factions.

The MC does not actively create his own opportunities but also does not restrict himself or discard useful things, even if they are "icky" or evil, which is generally nice to see, compared to other stories.

If you enjoy non-hero MC, the selection of novels is very narrow in this genre so this is something you can binge. There are no major flaws in the novel so far, nor anything upsetting or outrageous that would fail to deliver the promise of the plot and what you might expect from reading it. Recommended for novel addicts if you are desperate especially for listening via text-to-speech while you do other things.

I enjoyed this. If you like cultuvation novels and dark caracters this is recomanded. But as I complain in many coments math dont math in many places.

Cultivation realms, should have went:
Foundation, Qi Refining, Condensation, Golden Core (gas -> liquid -> solid), as the change in Qi phase is what separates different cultivation realms (denser the Qi = more strength and power).
Weird that foundation was put after Qi Refining in this novel.
In general, really poor cultivation system.
For example, Qi Refining is separated further into sub-levels, but other than some arbitrary technique requirements, it's never really properly illustrated what's the difference between these sub-levels even is.
The "cold & cruel" cultivation world is completely lost on me too. How do these cultivators even form Sects (or any kind of organizations) if everyone is supposedly trying one-up or scam each other?
There's a lot of padding too and you could compress 5 chapters into 1 without losing anything of value. Walls and walls of completely plot irrelevant descriptions of things and characters that neither contribute to atmosphere or world building or frankly anything.
Made me doubt my love for cultivation novels for a second, but then I went and re-read some older ones and those still hold up.

It's a pretty well-written novel about cultivation. The main character uses his brain, which is quite careful. Minor characters are not trash. The cruel world of cultivation in all its glory 😈😈
