    An incredibly boring and dull novel. As I understand it, a biologist assistant or something like that moves into an infected world and explores it in great detail. Very detailed description of everything and everyone, a very slowly moving plot (at the time of chapter 26, it basically does not exist), a boring main character, the environment and his interaction with it.

      It’s definitely a slow drip but there is certainly a lot going on in this novel. Of course, its not a perfect story, but is also not at all about a biologist assistant on some sort of plague safari trip. The mc isn’t even a biologist, or bland. They're actually quite complex and have a lot of self-driven plot throughout the chapters, although they definitely have their pitfalls. But from your description, I can definitely see that the story pacing isn't up to your speed.

    I crave for a good action mystery. Love this type MC the kind of calm, composed, a critical thinker but has a hobby for extreme things by sheer curiosity and enjoying a thrill while risk-taking and gambling his life away. And just like MC, I'm also captivated by this sick world riddled with so-called diseases.
    Its like Kingsman with the emphasis of 'gentlemanliness' but dark, eerie, goth, supernatural, and everything strange. Like LOTM but not the gods fighting for power in the universe but the gods playing and throwing all kinds of apocalypse to the world just for the hell of it.
