[Fog Apocalypse]+[Farming Survival]+[Cthulhu Style]

When Colin woke up, a gray mist had descended. The only sanctuary was the wooden cabin, where he woke up. To survive, he needed to light candles, push open the door, and look for supplies.

[Mutants]+[Suffering People]+[Sea Monsters]+[Fallen Sky]+[Ancient Rulers]

Everyone was doing everything they could to gather resources, chop wood, mine, and build to defend against endless, terrifying invasions.

In the midst of this never-ending terror and despair, Colin discovered he could receive “hints.” Collapse

I dropped the novel at chapter 34. It's supposed to be a truly deadly environment, but people seem to just treat it like their backyard now. The MC decides to just test explosives out in the wild, making extremely unnecessary noise even though his hint system already told him it would work. Then, people in the region decide to instantly start going to the area of the explosion instead of avoiding it because, you know... the monsters that are supposed to be in this world.

Moral of the story: The MC does unnecessary things, and the author is inconsistent with the world setting. At one point, the world is deadly, and you have to be careful; the next, people treat it like their backyard.

People going to places where logically deemed dangerous is believable though. More so in a land of opportunities. I havent read the novel yet, but ill give it a try.

    As of chapter 64:
i'm not a fan of these "Global Game" type novels but this one has potential and it looks really promising.

nothing too groundbreaking or of impressive level compared to giants such as LOTM or TLM but it holds on its own(for now).

The world building is in its very early stages but it seem promising with the novel's Cthulhu post apocalyptic world.

The MC is not stupid but rather rational and decisive about his choices(for now), not too soft hearted either but not an absolute killing machine against every single person who disagrees with him.

The side characters........not really sure how to describe them for now, i mean they exist for now but they aren't really there at the same time.

The plot's mystery is really drawing me in more and more so that's a plus.

The translation is still readable (compared to MTL so don't my word on it).

It has a little bit of "extra scenes " that don't happen at their right time(often after the scene ends) but i'm fine with it since its nothing way too important or "plot hole" level(for now).

I thnk its safe for now so try it your self
