I knew this is a gem so I stopped reading for a whole year so I can enjoy the translation and finished reading it in less than a week

I am currently reading chapter 600 in Raws. I am here to tell you this novel is an absolute gem with no cliches. All events are planned, and the foreshadowing is good. There are many epic moments and many carefree moments. BTW I've read at least a couple hundred novels. 5/5

We really need more novels like this. This MC is bit of a simpleton and his ox companion quite naive, but it is nice to see someone who derives joy from the simple things in life… He also one that sees that he has immortality so actually uses that time to acquire a very broad knowledge base. Ofc, MC being a simpleton, the way he does these things and acquires power is generally very inefficient. But considering he has all the time in the world, it’s a problem that is forgivable

Translation wise it’s bit of a rollercoaster. It’s decent enough in the first 50 chapters. Then goes on a gradual decline where it drops off a cliff by around chapter 80, but then by 100 it starts to get better again. Doesn’t have the quality of the start, but very readable and much better than AI MTL. So, soldier past that shit zone, as there is hope.

I've stumbled upon this gem by chance, truly a blessing. Reading this has been a delight, peak slice of life right here, while it may not be as delightful to some juniors but many seniors have enjoyed it, no doubt.

The Mc himself is a gem, rational and easygoing. Nothing bothers him, and the growth he experiences truly shapes his mind to resemble that of an immortal and not some young fool who only knows that he's immortal.

His pet cow is another well done character and the only thing keeping him sane in a world of fleeting but colorful sand, high-quality shit
