        and even if someone you trust told you beforehand it would get better later on, expecting people to suffer through x amount of crap chapters to reach that point is just as absurd.
        you wouldn't recommend someone to eat something coated in shit just because it's a thin coating and the inside is sweet and tasty.

    This was interesting only for the first few chapters, I honestly did not like his "Guardian" role much, but it was tolerable... then when he proceeded to become the Emperor, it became even worse. The MC's power system relying on incense, was fine, and it's what made being a "Guardian" tolerable, but I'd appreciate cultivation system more.

    Another problem is how OP this Author's MC's are, it was fine in TTP because Han Jue had extremely obvious flaws (Cautious to the point of cowardice) that lead to interesting comedy despite the routine like arcs, but this MC is simply too perfect, and the whole story is terribly predictable. You know he will never lose, there is basically no tension, regardless of how strong the opponent seems to be, he is actually nothing compared to the MC.

    He also has no interest in Harem, which is fine and actually leads to more interesting stories usually. But it made it so that there were barely any interesting close family dynamics, I felt like the Emperor's were interesting for the first few times (MC's Son, and Grandsons), but it also became tedious on the stupid dynamics that started happening, which made it feel like they were burdens.

    Overall, while the quality is reasonable, author fails to address the inherent weaknesses of extremely OP MC's, lack of tension and drama. Maybe this would be better for those who really appreciate kingdom building, but that is a negative for me. So overall a much worse TTP, with a more boring MC.

    Some early arcs are fine, but when the mc starts messing with karma and timelines it quickly becomes incomprehensible. At this point I'm only reading because of sunk costs.
