The MC finally joins a sect, yet only a few days later has to participate a 'safe' mision, but lo and behold, their sect is attacked, the MC meets a strange lady 2 cultivation levels above him that wants to kill him, then a bunch of evil entities swarm them and begin massacring the sect members.
Then, only a few days after the mission, a strange girl pulled him into an illusion and nearly killed him, then the next day he 'coincidentally' found the lady from before and even though he was perfectly diguised, she still recognized him and nearly killed him, only for a few days later to find out his friend was being used as a furnace for a woman in a brothel.
After dealing with this, on his way to the sect he finds two people fighting and because he decides to ignore them, the next day, one of the two wanted to kill him and the MC had to kill him in response, which provoked an elder in the other sect to come after him and to protect him the sect sent him to a secret realm where he spent a few days before being found by an old grampa who has been hiding for hundreds of years and some bullshit like that.
