In the dangerous world of high martial arts, Lin Beifan traversed and found himself bound to a corrupt official system.

It seemed that the only way to become stronger was through corruption – a ridiculous notion, but one that he had to follow nonetheless. He found himself embezzling, accepting bribes, and using his power for personal gain, becoming a despised and hated corrupt official.

Yet, secretly, he distributed his ill-gotten gains to the people, leaving nothing for himself. He carried the weight of his bad reputation while still trying to make the world a better place.

The empress, who knew the truth, shed tears and said, “My dear, I’m sorry for the injustice done to you. Come to my palace tonight.”

The intelligent and beautiful women who knew the truth declared, “No matter how the world sees you, we are willing to stand by your side, through thick and thin!”

The martial women of the Jianghu who knew the truth vowed, “If they want to take down Lin, they’ll have to get through us first!”

Others were left in shock, “He’s clearly a corrupt official, why are you all protecting him?” Collapse

    funny novel.

    1. MC does corruption with the intention of becoming strong and also due to being forced by the system > hence becomes despised and hated (mostly by other officials & not common folks)

    2. Yet, secretly, he distributed his ill-gotten gains to the people, leaving nothing for himself. -> He a cultivator. What use is mundane silver taels? Its not spirit stone or spirit rice after all.

    3. He carried the weight of his bad reputation -> Not really. He can't just just do good openly as then there will be no corruption so no reward.

    4. make the world a better place? ->by giving ill gotten gains back to the people who were supposed to get them in the 1st place if the mc hadn't commandeered it?

5.empress/beautiful women/martial women who know the truth? -> mc gave his ill gotten fortune to only (intelligent/beautiful/martial) women so that's why only they knew. He didn't help men. So mc is sexist & discriminatory. Which explains -> Others were left in shock.

I find it quite funny but my sense of humor is really immature, besides that most of the characters aren't that capable for their job and seem quite unintelligent

It is a disgace to humans that such a thing has been written, uploaded, and not yet blocked. The mc is stupid as hell, made the most stupid decission on second chapter. The characters are even worse than the mc. Tell you the truth, just read the first 4 chapters and you will understand how bad it is. I doubt if the author is more than 15. Defenitely not reccomend. I mean, I have no words to prescibe this shit.

You are a disgrace to all humans, so dumb that basic reading and comprehension skills have eluded you. There are valid points as to why the happenings of chapter 2 and 3 and 4 are done and why they are in such a way.

Basic truth of the matter is that you have not even properly focused and read and comprehended what was shown to you and thus failed to understand the situation at hand.

I suggest in the future you stay away from reading novels as clearly this does not suit you and go consume some visible media like videos, movies and such. Hopefully moving pictures make it easier for you to understand what is happening.

I read your comments on chapter 3 and 4, I admire how much nonsense you could think, just to up me on the arguments. Also I am only speaking about the novel, why do you have to make it personal? It reminds me of those "videos" where a "woke" student speaks about his feelings on the subject and in the end starts swearing due to his inablity to provide facts oru2x I am pretty sure that you like arguments, with that aggressive attitude of yours. Advice: do not try to use derogatory terms. I am a nice man, but if I had nothing to do, I would pay a sum to a hacker to find your digital footprint till I locate you. I know that you probably go scot-free and insult others on similar situation, since you think you are safe on the internet oru2x You are not. (Do not insult me again.)

What nonsense. A provocation and a threat in full comment on a site that can locate your connection and your ip in their data. All you have to do is file a complaint and request a web check from the prosecutor to request your data.

Good luck! I do not see any threats in my comment. oru2x . And let me tell you what happens, even If I threatned somebody to die (which I am not). Check Piers Morgan's story and then come back to me, you twat. Long story short, somebody on facebook or instagram threatened to kill him and his family, on a public post. He reported it to the police, and the police did nothing even though they had all his details. Let me point out some key points. Piers Morgan is rich and famous. Who do you think cares for someone like you?

do you think the complaints from different countries are the same? don't worry that domain threats in my country are taken very seriously. After all, the numerous convictions and fines have proven it. After little assholes, give me the address and we'll see.
For someone who needs to buy a hacker, I don't mind seeing what you're worth.

It's a shame, you look like a kid, it looks like you're worth nothing, but don't worry big boy, you'll grow up one day oru2x

Do you know the principle to which the person who talks the most? Do you recognize yourself? oru2x

Attacking a French lawyer's mobile data must make a good argument, maybe now that the picture has been taken can you do it? At a higher level than that, the author in this one was thinking before writing, you know like a normal person... So it's a more of sarcastic plotline than a brainless plotline.

I agree with you. There seems to be a requirement to see beyond what is just written to understand whole plot.

Anyhow people who enjoy braindead novels will fail to read this. As shown by the dude who commented crazy stuff for the first few chapters
