Even after the bombs fell, even after countries unleashed weapons beyond imagining on one another, even after lawlessness became the norm, people still expect their mail.

As a deadman, I'm uniquely suited to deliver it. Rads don't bother me, and people who try to hurt me typically wind up dead. Sure, humans may not like dealing with a face like mine, but hey, you can't beat my express rates.

A nuclear apocalypse has decimated the greatest nation on earth.

America weeps as her children scrabble to survive in the irradiated blood and dust.

    But fret not dear Citizen!

Although mutated monsters may make moving un-molested a momentous miracle, America still provides. The heart of this great nation, The System, still beats onward!
Couriers, empowered by the A.R.S., work tirelessly to keep communities connected like blood bringing life saving oxygen. Though the danger may be great these brave men and women don't let it stop them! Mayors keep the civic traditions of small town America alive by forming the bones upon which everything else is built. Bastions of safety where women and children need not fear mutated Deadmen or those pernicious jackanapes called Raiders.

Speaking of those ne'er-do-wells, Citizen you can rest easy knowing that unstoppable US Marshals are working as tirelessly as white blood cells to rid us of that particular disease. However they do have quite a full plate on their hands. Deadzones filled with dangerous radiation, crocodiles the size of cars, space age weaponry THAT NEEDS TO BE DESTR-

    ...

Dear Citizen! We call on you! Do your part and remember the following to ensure a safe and prosperous America!

    Do not question the System.
    Follow your orders.
    Everything will be fine.
