Setting in the fictional world of Gaia, where special individuals can awaken certain powers within their soul. They are called Arcana Masters. Some awaken beasts, some awaken weapons, while some awaken the power of plants.

Some people train to become stronger so that they have the power to protect loved ones, some wish to use it for revenge, some wish to live longer, while some want to be free and use their power however they wish.

Yet, there exists a clan, where the descendants only exists to grant death to others so that the life and death to be remain balanced.         Actually it wasn’t bad. The author does get travelled back in time, but to few years back in time before he was even born. So this is gonna ruin your story but he needs to go back to his original timeline. For that he needs to learn to control his power. This is not a harem. The fml is in the past and when he travels back in time to his current time, there will be a gap of 20 years. Also he brought his cousin along with him. They are also a part of hidden family. One of the strongest and he is his father is next in line, after whom is the mc. It’s basically the family of reapers but they have become a bit weaker compared to past self. Not much tho, since they are still 1 of the 12 great families.

          But at the end of it, he has no kill policy. Even if the enemy tries to kill him. The mc is a virgin and naive fool. This completely ruins the story. This is despite the fact that he is emotionless. The author completely destroyed the story.

            no kill in the past or future? no kill CAN make sense in a time travel story, no kill can also make in his future (or preset I guess?) if one day he'll be able to go much further than his original timeline.

              You remember the man who tried to kill mc, the reaper killed him so time travel logic doesn’t work since he would have ended dead either way if mc killed of his own violation or not. But the idiot mc got mad at reaper for killing the assassin. Also your time travel logic won’t work here, since the changes that occurred in past were already there in his present even when hadn’t time travelled so no killing a person wouldn’t affect his present and future.

                is he consistent at least and does the world show the consequences of his actions? there are MCs who don't kill and while I don't like that, since the world isn't dumbed down it becomes an engaging part of the story, kinda like how batman gets tested with the joker. I don't enjoy it but if done right, it can be really good. I'm guessing that's not the case here and it's just moral grandstanding?? it could also be that the mc killing will become a turning point in the story

                  I just remembered the part where he was in illusion realm and he didn’t want to kill his friend who was just an illusion. Let me tell you at the other end of illusion realm was the gem. Even if no killing is a part of character development, the fact that enemy was just an illusion and so much was in stake is idiotic. The mc has been made extremely dumb. The only reason I read till the chapter I did was because of the soul reaper part.

                  yeah, if it's to that point then he probably has something wrong with him like a mental illness, but if that mental illness isn't core to the story (like the central part of the story and is consistently being tackled) then it means that it's just a "condition" that the author uses as a personality quirk.
