In the continent of Chang’an humans had lived as livestock and slaves to the Primordial Beasts. These beasts were ferocious, bloodthirsty and overwhelmingly powerful, but even so, the humans managed to prevail in the face of despair.

As the human race grew stronger the Primordial Beasts fought back with relentless fierceness, rousing beast hordes to engage in frenzied battles over the land.

Every single child on the continent was taught martial arts for the sake of fighting these Primordial Beasts, yet many of them were sent straight to their death.

In this world filled with constant battle, a young boy was born. This young boy was hoping to become the most outstanding cultivator, but who would have thought that his talent was so poor that he could not even cultivate?

As the boy was filled with despair over his unfortunate situation, a life changing event occurred which would forever leave a scar in his mind, pushing him to transcend his limits and grow to become a legend. Collapse

Decent Book.Nothing great, but a alright time passing book. The problem I see is that there are inconsistencies between what the author says and what’s in the world.Furthermore, the books seems to have no direction. The character development is also done poorly and people don’t act naturally. For example, the mc still loves a women who tried to kill him and broke it off with him and they just accepted someone who is a diviner into there group and even let him learn that the mc is part beast? Also, the expert(bei tianyi) does not act like someone of his status and I still don’t see many benefits of becoming a sword spirit, except immortality. He still should have had a long lifespan,so it doesn't make sense for him to do something so detrimental to himself.

Edit:It seems to be getting better.I like how they’re progressing the story. The only part as of chapter 300 is how the King(queen) acts. She doesn't act like a King/queen.But that’s not that big of a issue.
