The biggest issue for me is how flat the characters feel, especially the main character (MC). Usually, even if the side characters aren’t super fleshed out, the MC tends to have some depth, right? Not here. The guy doesn’t question anything—like, how he got his powers, what’s happening around him, nothing. He just goes along with whatever, and it makes him feel really passive and, well, kind of boring.

The narration doesn’t do much to help, either. It’s not engaging or interesting enough to make up for the lack of strong characters. The story just doesn’t pull you in like it should, which is sad because the concept is genuinely good.

To be fair, I haven’t read that far yet, so maybe it picks up later. But I feel like the start of a story should hook you, you know? If the characters and storytelling aren’t interesting from the get-go, it’s hard to stay motivated to keep reading.

That said, this is just my personal take. The theme has a lot of potential, and maybe you’ll feel differently about it. If it sounds interesting to you, give it a shot and see what you think!

It's really not special. Just barely good enough to pass the time.

It was slightly interesting in the beginning but then the plot just became a rinse & repeat kind of thing. MC goes to a new world, his subordinates collect debt for him, they face someone stronger than them, he shows up last minute to shout "Who dares touch my people!!!" and kills the person, repeat.

The enemies he faces are so stupid I can't believe it. It's clearly a lack of effort from the author. For example, the MC would kill someone of a high cultivation realm with one attack and people who don't measure up to that realm would still charge him to fight. The normal reaction of fear usually only arises when there's one person left, like come on.

Guys this novel was translated by exodus tales,they took many novels in like I have them thousand legendary swords etc and dropped them now they are only translating 2-3 novels so it's better to read mtl
