    To those who will pass or visit these novel, give it some thoughts to read. Although it felt little short and could give some more chapters at the ending, the story will give you a roller coaster of emotions that a must have or really have to be in a good novel. Great novel to read for me and even its not grand like big popular novels, its rating really shows how good it is. A 4.2/5 for me, thank you auhtor for providing such a good story.

      I have not encountered any romance in this novel as of chapter 94. Also nothing about female lead or similar tags so I think it's safe to assume that you won't hear much about romance.

          Didn't really get the feeling that he was a sage either...if you're looking for that sage type of feel in an MC, this novel is not what you're looking for is all I'll say. If not, just give it a go until chapter 20 to see if you like it or not.

    I usually skip novels with hidden abilities or hidden identities because low key protagonists can be pretty frustrating sometimes but this one has a famous protagonist tag so I want to know if the mc is hiding his old identity before he died or does he just stay low key in this lifetime.

            Exactly those mc’s frustrate me the most. 99% of the trouble that comes his way wouldn’t have even have happened if he just showed all his power. Some other trouble would have happened but that’s inevitable; his trouble would at least half, he would have respect, and he wouldn’t have to waste so much time. I think I didn’t mind those types of mc’s at first, but there’s too many novels like that now

              The thing is that some authors are not talented enough to give real trouble to the mc so they make the mc appear weak to others so they pick on him and set up a stage for face slapping or adding useless trouble to an already dying book that they won't give up

                Yeah, most authors who do it for faceslapping are just copying content from other novels, it’s too boring and a waste of time in my opinion. Some mc’s have a real reason to hide their powers, like if there is someone looking for that type of power and the mc is too weak but if u r strong enough, what’s the reason to hide ur power or identity? Because some novels really wasted my time, I’ve started skipping novels with the tags ‘hiding’ anything. It’s sad because some novels look really good but I don’t know how long he hides his power/identity for, like this novel.

                  Yep been skipping those too. Some of them have good reasons to hide but sometimes the main character is a literal omnipotent god but still gets insulted by a lowly "ant" for the sake of the plot.

But I wish I knew how long the mc stays hidden for the highly rated novels, because if it’s not for too long, I can just skip to that part.                   Just caught up to overgeared and zenith online. Id recommend overgeared especially because while the mc had a shity personality at first, he improves a lot at chapter 94 and at one point he becomes my favorite type of mc.           Are you kidding? Staying lowkey and steady is the best. Like there are thousands of MCs there from different novels chased and bothered by 3rd rate villains to bigshots because they just cant help shout to the world their motives and powers. Lowkey is always the best. I'm already having a hard time looking for novels with lowkey Mcs and MCs who really stayed lowkey for the longest time and you say you hate it? I dislike hot blooded Mcs so Yes to Lowkey MCs.

            In my eyes most of the lowkey mc’s are lowkey for no reason, and they get into MORE trouble than normal mc’s. I don’t like hot blooded mc’s who become everyone’s enemy but lowkey mc’s who bring unneeded trouble are even worse in my opinion, because most of the time trouble can diverted if the mc’s power is known. It’s like the author doesn’t have anything else to write about, other than the mc hiding his power then showing off in secret, while other people keep looking at him like he’s a bug. Of course there are some lowkey mc’s who are pretty good and have a reason to be lowkey, but most are pretty annoying with how they do things because there is absolutely no reason to hide, but instead it makes things worse

              Lowkey doesnt mean acting weak. You are low key because you are unnoticable. Acting weak in a world where the law of the jungle works, isnt being lowkey. Its stupidity waiting for tragedy to happen. Lowkey is when you look average or better yet stay away from the eyes of the many. When you look so weak or so strong, you are like a sore thumb.

              The novels you read where you thought MCs are lowkey are mostly made by chinese authors who majors in face slapping. Have you read Top tier providence? Or the fanfiction Reborn in Konoha as Anbu Torturer? They're lowkeys because they avoid trouble, they avoid exposure. And a good reason for that is when the world they live in treat human lives like something replacable.
              How about MC of Daddy Fantasy World Restaurant who until the end didn't reveal his real identity to the public because he wants to live in peace. Or MC of stagnant water of the apocalypse who tried so hard to be lowkey but his performance cant be unnoticed, still he remained hidden until he was powerful enough.
              Its great being lowkey, less will bother you. Just look average, not weak. Those mcs who getting bullied for being looked down on arent lowkey to be honest. Author just want face slapping drama. Thats why its lowkey because you are unnoticed.

                I can see what u mean, but usually the tags don’t separate the mcs who get looked down upon and the mcs who still shows his power, just as a different identity. I usually don’t like masochist mc’s so I hate it when the mc just allows himself to get looked down upon or allows trouble to come him way, but if neither happens, then I’d be fine with it. Most of the time I just don’t understand y the mc would do such things, but if there’s a reason then it’s all good. Is the lord of mysteries like that? I heard he has multiple identities and there’s a reason for it and it’s really good, but I still haven’t gotten myself to read it. I might’ve traumatized myself or something a while ago with those Chinese lowkey type mc’s

Some authors just want these in their novels. Maybe it really is a thing in the past where readers get their blood boiling. Nowadays, most readers are tired of this. Have you read The reincarnation of the strongest sword god? The mc there was just a nobody before but he wasnt trying to stay lowkey but enemies kept pouring back and forth like his achievements was something easy to get. Thats why if chinese authors made it, no matter how they make their MC "lowkey" in the start, they cant help the face slap scenes. Its embedded in their bones to faceslap.

Hes lowkey because even when their organization is known to others, how many people actually knew his real identity? The best part about being lowkey, having your identity hidden is that you can seek out your enemies. You can scheme behind them and maybe defeat them even if theyre a bit powerful. And they can only wait for it. Thats why its better being lowkey. For superstars of tomorrow, he's a reincarnated or he possessed the body of someone generations after his first life ended. So his talent and skills could really be hard to explain. He had a secret identity of one of the heroes in the past who suddenly died before achieving his dream.

                  Yeah. The MC here was a warrior who suddenly died after being at war with mutated or evolved beasts and plants I think. He was originally a musician or something, and like his comrades from that war, they were just ordinary people who had dreams. Before the MC could achieve his dreams in sharing his music and enjoy peace, he died due to the hidden injuries he accumulated from the war. So little much is known from him in the current era. Current era is in peace, MC still had the skills and instincts he had when he was a fighter, but he really couldnt tell others about him could he? Fortunately, he knows and loves music so at least he found his place in the world.

    suprisingly different from normal chinese novels.

    the protagonist is the exact opposite of a typical chinese protagonist in a good way

    only thing that could be better is if he was a little more selfish and held onto more interests but thats his character and its realistic so i respect it i guess.
