Fu#k this shit. I stopped after 2834. As I couldn't take the shitty translation anymore. In the beginning it was quite good but it got less interesting. It was still okay though. I would have finished it if the translation quality was good and consistent.

Read past 2500+ then, it's been long though but I can still remember I skipped chapters by reading the next chapter title.
It was interesting at first but got boring at a point I had to stop, and also to have mercy on my brain
The typical MC betrayed, awakening his power, getting revenge on his clan, searching for missing parent and all other bullshits rinse and repeat face slapping
I would still recommend it if you are looking for something to relax with (though 5k+ is too much for relaxing)

I'm so bored, that I am going to try and read these 4000 chapters of a novel I know nothing about, that was never recommended to me, that I've never once heard anyone talk about, etc. Who knows, maybe it'll be fun.

Very good table of contents. You can skip meaningless chapters by the hundreds.

Decent at start and seemed like it would be a good novel but got worse kinda fast. One sided characters. MC always seem to chase someone else (not power but literally always another person kidnapped, gone or whatever, but need power to get to them). Same semi bad story until like 2k+ then it gets better but soon the translation goes to shit where they keep changing name on cultivation levels, sometimes use the same word for a bunch of things that shouldn't use that word (you can make sense of it but super annoying) and shift she/he alot. It's a pain to read at that point even if the story got somewhat better

Sword techniques are vaguely explained with only fancy and exaggerated effects. The battles are not fighting but mostly trashtalks, exaggerated reaction of npcs, and author trying hard to hype those bland fights. Translation made it so that everyone is like half Americans cursing during fights. As for the MC, nothing special other than the blessing of his ancestor that let him comprehend skills faster. His personality is as bland as it can be with no character development.

The only thing that I don't like that he is pursuing his shuang'er like a donkey before carrot, giving the the feelings that whatever he do , he would never be with her, otherwise, it's really good after 600~700 chapter.
