Quinlan, a simple office worker finds himself transmigrated to an extremely dangerous fantasy land as a level 1 Commoner with nothing to his name but his wits - and a unique gift that accompanied his teleportation.

No one in Thalorind could have predicted that this unassuming arrival would one day rise to the top, redefining the very meaning of the term 'power'... And that he may have achieved said result by joining a criminal organization and clawing his way through its ranks.

In the beginning, Quinlan was painfully weak and alone but thanks to his severe trust issues, joining a team was... hard. However, he soon noticed that a lot of people have collars around their necks in this world... People that couldn't exactly betray him.

Follow Quinlan's journey as he grows in strength, amasses wealth, fights to the death, and meets lovely ladies.

Disclaimer: I'd received a few complaints from some readers that my MC is not a real villain, and I have to agree; if you're looking for some complete psycho MC who burns random farmer villages down just for fun then don't read.

The MC is a ruthless man who does evil things from time to time, but only to his enemies or those he considers to be true scum. He gains no joy from tormenting strangers.

Also don't read if you want a story about buying s*x slaves and r*ping them, that doesn't happen in this novel. He will treat the women he wants to be with as if they were normal people, whether they're slaves or not. Collapse

Hard to read this grafomania. Even old slave trader spoke like long forgotten son of Dostoevskiy or Tolstoy. Fast sex scene can be 5-7 chapters and so on...

I’ve read 500 chapters of this novel. And honestly, it’s one of the worst things I’ve ever read. You might ask — why? Let me explain.

    1. The characters.
The main hero and heroines are completely flat. They have no depth, no real goals, no inner conflict. They simply exist — without development, without personality. It feels like the author just drew cardboard dolls and moves them around the stage, hoping we’ll believe there’s drama.

    2. The main hero.
He hasn’t earned a single one of his powers. Everything just falls into his lap, as if someone decided: “Let’s make him a god — why not?”
And the funniest part is, he doesn’t even know how to use his abilities! He acts like a self-satisfied child who’s been given nuclear weapons. With the kind of absurd powers the author gives him, even a three-year-old child with cerebral palsy would become the supreme god of this damn world. So what’s the point of following his “journey”?
And the worst thing is, the entire world exists just to praise him. Every other character is there solely to lick his ass.

    3. The plot.
There isn’t one. No intrigue, no twists, no real enemies. We just watch as the protagonist moves from point A to point B, receiving new “rewards” without lifting a finger. Everything is so predictable that by the hundredth chapter you just want to close the book and forget it ever existed.

    4. The author’s style.
To make the protagonist look “cool,” the author makes everyone else dumb. It’s a cheap trick, and it kills any kind of dynamic. When the entire world revolves around one idiot, it becomes impossible to care about anyone.

Ohh nah that was a while ago at the beginning of the story 😅, I dropped this a while ago its ass. All 4 of your points are right, I expected it to develop properly like getting to know the charecters better and the plot starting to line up into something more enjoyable.
BUT NONE OF THAT HAD HAPPNED AFTER 1300 CHPTERS, he just keeps adding onto the harem instead of adding substance to the previous members 😭.
And the romance is also so cringe 😭 I must have been horny at the time cause I remmebr it being cute and complex
Anyway long story short all 4 of ur points are right I trusted the author to much and I can add some more 😅

I mean he isn't a saint, and what a villain is subjective to who the 'victim' is. For example a family may see the bank as evil when they have their possessions repossessed. But the man who goes to war and kills indiscriminately is seen as justified and innocent (I agree indiscriminate killing should be tolerated within warzones)

As previous commenters already said, the novel is bad. I thought that as it progresses through the story it will get better but unfortunately, it didn't. The main character is so hypocritical that I couldn't stand it anymore after a certain point. For example is I remember he said that he doesn't like rape or whatsoever but later on in the story lets someone be raped with his consent, like wtf is that? he contradicts himself so much that its so annoying to read. Anyway, for future readers, read it if you want to try it but for me this is just a f#cking disappointing read.

Well you just prove he is right, he still contradicts himself. He doesn't like rape so why would he let anyone, be it his enemies, get raped? With consent at that.

It's not about how she deserved it, he still contradicts himself. A hypocrite.

Right? Its about the action he takes towards his enemies. At that point he is not even a villain but he's evil and that's a difference in meaning to how the author wrote his character to be. Great villains have their bottom line but genuine evil does not. What I am saying is that the MC has repeatedly established a bottom line in the beginning only for it to be breached when a choice is handed to him and that for me is just not my thing.

villians are supposed to be evil and what do you mean bottom line? a true villian doesn't a bottom line and about being hypocrite, he himself said that he is hypocrite. it just makes him more real character not perfect
