Fight. Heal. Survive.

The Integration didn’t just change the Earthen Union—it tore it apart. Monsters, mayhem, and madness turned civilization into a battlefield.

Yet, while the world crumbled under the weight of despair, David felt something unexpected: he felt at home.

Even after being forced into the [Cleric] Class, David refused to yield. He adapted, turning his unwanted gifts into tools of both healing and destruction, forging himself into a battle-hardened healer unlike any before.

Why is the rating of this novel so fckin low...? Thank fck I didn't skip it, would've missed a good apocalpyse novel.

I love all zombies apocalpyse especially when there's other twist to it... I'm down for the ride. Finding the MC power level is not broken from the start of every conflict adds more to this. Makes the predicament more tangible, instead of just shutting off my brain.

I'm personally enjoying this so far, each chap is about 1.5-3k words... currently at chapter 22, seems like there's more to the world setting, which is a huge bonus. I guess I'm still in the honeymoon phase of the novel so everything is still a 5/5 for me.

    There's something about Western webnovels—especially the ones on RoyalRoad—that I find off-putting.

I wonder if anyone can articulate this feeling.

Take the synopses, for example. They just list X, Y, and Z, hyping things up and trying to sound grandiose, but I can't help but yawn.

Maybe part of it is some bad feelings and resentment, but I think there's something genuinely problematic with the writing.

It's all bark, no bite—just fluff and buzzwords.

      I personally think it's better, here's why.
Most of the time I find some author calling dragon city, zanzhin or whatever bulls they are calling the towns and cities which is honestly forgetful. After 2 chapters I'd be wondering, which one is zanzhin or whatever.
But, the A, B, C and D type of naming make it really rememberable and easier to save in my mind and another big thing about it is that authors can stop being nationalists for a bit, they can act as themselves without some country supremacist bulls. Idk, I kinda like it better.
And I'm afraid this is not what you're talking about, and if so, I'm sorry for misunderstanding.

Hideous grain novels are good in some parts ( power level and magic system) but sometimes bad at presenting events, I read undying warlord for him, I liked at some moments but the lack of hype is bad

You know... I always question this kind of stuff because I don't understand why murderhobo is usually considered bad, as long as it's actually written well it's still good.

      It's a disclaimer.

People hear about a grey or even evil character and expect a lunatic.

Honestly, reading Reverend Insanity probably skewed our vision of evil characters as it set a whole new bottom line if there even is one at that point
