Just a thought, looking from a god's perspective, we human beings would be ants, right? I think the same applies to bacteria and the ways we observe them, always looking, being able to understand (what it is), but never being able to really feel what it's like to be a bacteria, our perspective within the microscope is so broad that it can see, understand and to a certain extent manipulate like god creating and destroying, now from the perspective of a higher entity (god, alien...???) it would be the same thing, now with humans, for them we are 'limited', trapped in our own reality that they can observe from afar, they have much more clarity than we could ever understand in our lives, but still never fundamentally understand because they have never gone through the same, because of their own perspective, and at some point I don't know how many centuries of human evolution would be necessary to reach this stage of evolution, both morally and civilly, as well as rationally, but I think that perhaps this freedom is one of the characteristics of humans, perhaps for them we are those crazy ants.

It’s a cute, but thought provoking, story. Probably one of the more unique stories I’ve read on Ranobes.

With a good amount of detachment from the observer; who you really can’t call the FL because, well, she is never a protagonist.

Instead, she survives the decline of her race and then watches the entire rise and decline of another before gaining a companion to join her in observing.

The entire story could be a commentary on human advancement and the accompanying savagery. Until they achieve everything possible and lose all ambition because there simply is no point anymore.
