A teenager had just purchased a bundle of all of the new and old Fallout games, Fallout 76 had just been released and he’d been badgered by his friends to play it… As a diligent person he decided that the best way to get acquainted with the series was to play ALL OF THEM!

It’d taken him three days to complete Fallout 3, doing most of the side quests and exploring the Capital Wasteland. It’d been an extremely fun experience, even if the graphics were dated at the time…

He didn’t wait a moment after completing it, immediately putting in the Fallout Newvegas disk into his console… When the exhaustion finally caught up to him.

Opening his eyes again and realising he was now a baby had him regretting ever laying hands on the series. Thus begins the story of his adventure through the Mojave wasteland. Collapse

Aight lads here's the deal. MC is an annoying sack of shit until around chapter 10 and he gets a decent childhood after being isekai-ed into the Brotherhood of Steel. Fallout System kicks in around ch52 when he gets his hands on a pip boy, then numbers go up and the New Vegas adventuring really begins.

Honestly pretty good. It's not digital crack but definitely a solid B grade fic in the first 120 chapters and seems to be getting written better not worse. Just...skip the chapters with warnings on them. They're there for a reason. It does become a bit of a bloody mess going in, it's fallout.

I played this novel right after I finished Fallout New Vegas for the second time. While I agree that it is well written, I believe that this novel is exactly the same as Fallout New Vegas. All the quests and the path you can follow to solve the quests in the game are exactly as they are in the book, and even the route follows a very similar route to the recommended route in the game. I am not saying that the author did anything wrong, but I recommend that you play the game rather than read this novel.

If you stick with the book and like fallout it's great. The characters you meet and the journey are fun as hell and I don't regret reading it at all. Sure the bunker chapters are a little boring but that's your character development and literally him growing up so can't be to exciting. Overall great fanfic one of the best I've read

I grew up on fallout 2, louis armstrong and his wonderful world set the tone every time I opened up the game and delved into a broken wasteland. Brutal. But clean. Choose your playstyle and alignment, make the best of it.

As for this fanfic, I was really happy to stumble upon it initially, but it aint my playstyle, nor alignment. Its like choosing to live your life out in a sewer for no reason lol, made it to chapter 200 something where I had to stop before It did me dots(dmgovertime)... Game mechanics are well thought out, I learned stuff, but other than that there arent many bright points.

It was funny how he lost something important to him one moment, and being excited about getting a replacement the next. I guess authors get paid extra for disseminating ideologies?

Eh, and I really wanted to see how he looks leveled, perked and geared up!!!.. :/ tears

I read until around chapter 30 and I couldn't keep up, I really like Fallout, but I just want every character in this novel to go f#ck themselves, I couldn't like a single one, not even the protagonist, I was hoping to see a brutal post-apocalyptic world with dark humor, but what I get is ESG being forced down my throat (That thing with the lesbians), after reading this I remembered why I don't read fan-fiction. Honestly, this novel would have been much better if he was already reincarnated in the body of an adult and got the pip-boy all at once in the beginning, instead of all this bullshit

ESG – short for Environmental, Social and Governance.

They are a set of standards, usually used by investors to measure the impact a business has on society and the environment.

The term is a buzzword for ethical investments like renewable energy, recycled products and anything "green".

i would give it a 4 as a personal enjoyment score. It's good, though sometimes it felt like certain arcs dragged on, or certain things weren't properly executed, but still, i had fun. Although it may be an unpopular opinion, I quite liked how crazy the ending was, It was very explosive. wish
