A teenager had just purchased a bundle of all of the new and old Fallout games, Fallout 76 had just been released and he’d been badgered by his friends to play it… As a diligent person he decided that the best way to get acquainted with the series was to play ALL OF THEM!

It’d taken him three days to complete Fallout 3, doing most of the side quests and exploring the Capital Wasteland. It’d been an extremely fun experience, even if the graphics were dated at the time…

He didn’t wait a moment after completing it, immediately putting in the Fallout Newvegas disk into his console… When the exhaustion finally caught up to him.

Opening his eyes again and realising he was now a baby had him regretting ever laying hands on the series. Thus begins the story of his adventure through the Mojave wasteland. Collapse

Well, after reading 190, let me give you a brief introduction. welldone

Firstly, if you are a Fallout fan but haven't discovered Fallout New Vegas then don't start this novel, there are a lot of spoilers. know .Okay, let's get started:

After discovering the Fallout universe by playing the third game, our MC starts Fallout New Vegas and... dies of overwork. reader

This is how our MC is reincarnated as a baby in the Fallout New Vegas map. And not just anyone, he was born to a couple from the Brotherhood of Steel. Our MC will grow up with this faction and experience all the events that will lead the Brotherhood to take refuge in a bunker. reader

The protagonist's childhood will be quite long, around 50 chapters. However, it is a necessary time for us to become attached to the MC's family and for us to experience real emotions at the events that follow. After around fifty chapters, the MC's cheat appears, which will ultimately motivate him to escape the Brotherhood of Steel bunker. reader

Because yes, the MC has a cheat, he can take advantage of the Fallout New Vegas game system after discovering a Pip boy. However, this cheat will not allow him to access an inventory, nor will he teleport to places already visited. In addition, the advantages will be adapted to reality, sometimes giving unexpected results. The author did a good job on this. reader

The author knows the Fallout universe well, we will discover the good and bad sides of each faction. The author seems to have learned a lot about the history of Fallout. Those who are fans of Fallout New Vegas will find their way with the geography and events of the game. reader

Personally, this is the first time I've read such a well-written Fallout fanfiction. I recommend it for the moment. We will see how the story evolves after 190 chapters. 12

Well, here's my review after reading everything. know

The work is quite decent at the beginning and in the middle, but towards the end, it goes completely to the west.

The author probably did not understand that it was not just battle events that were needed to make a story interesting. The story focuses too much on combat and the author always wants to find a new, stronger enemy for his MC who is becoming stronger and stronger. It's a waste of potential. bond

The world of Fallout is rich enough to do something else. The MC creates his own scientific faction but he barely uses it outside of battle, he doesn't act like a leader but like a gangster, which doesn't fit at all with the style of the faction he created. No politics, no management, no saving the world to put it back on its feet, the author got too stuck on the story of the game. reader

The ending is messy, important characters die out of nowhere and the reason for the final enemy's attack is bogus. Clearly there was no more idea. The MC's cheating gets too overdone towards the end. sigh

The relationships between the MC and the other faction are too simple, and their reaction is sometimes stupid (The MC helps a faction enormously, but it turns against him when the enemy of this same faction spits on the radio that the MC was once part of the Brotherhood of Steel.) Seriously, who would believe their enemies, who would alienate a powerful ally just because he was part of an enemy faction when he has already left it. Especially when this ally has saved you several times. eyetwit

The MC is also a big hypocrite who refuses to kill innocent people but on the other hand dismantling the NCR and letting its inhabitants suffer a civil war is ok. whoknows

In short, despite all my criticisms, the beginning and middle of the story are worth reading. This remains a fairly decent Fallout fanfiction, but with flaws. I advise you to read it to make up your own mind. welldone
