In an era where humans and demons compete in fierce battles for survival, the Hero has fallen.

“…I will take your place.”

Thus began the deception of the fake Hero.

If exposed, it could mean the destruction of humanity.

…But the imposter is just too good at it.

I finished reading this novel, it wasn't an amazing read but overall the novel felt good when don't have anything else to read and just want time to pass by.

The main character is not a human but instead a Doppler who has the ability to copy appearances with other humans and animals thus becoming the new hero. If like seeing non human main characters then you will enjoy this novel.

The mc is smart while also being overall a very cautious character who doesn't commit to risk unless he has high chance of winning the fights. compared to other novels set in an academy the mc has zero romantic relationships with any of the characters including the students since he is only focused on completing his mission throughout the whole novel.

The plot is about him becoming stronger to fight the demons while also teaching new heroes. Not every student is explored in depth but at least half of the class gets character development and their own story to tell during most of the plot.

I personally feel the power system was hard to follow since humans and demons had 2 different power systems and it was very difficult to tell how strong certain demons were when you compared them to other heroes. Also for most of the story I wish more plot points that were shown in story were further expanded upon rather then being completely left out.

its not perfect novel but some parts of the story I did enjoy reading and believe you will enjoy them too.

Relatively good take on the “Professor in disguise” genre, with solid plot progression.

The power progression is a bit scattered especially towards the end though.

Note that MC does not have romance related to him, and that this is only for

After reading 168 chapters, I decided to temporarily leave this novel and also briefly describe it, since there is nothing in any of the reviews that reflects its essence.
So, the main character here is the doppleganger, who accompanied the hero and was with him when he died. MC is weak at first, but gradually strengthens himself, reproducing the hero's strength and other powers to a greater extent. I think in the end he will become even stronger than the original hero, who has been the strongest for centuries.
This MC is pretty smart. At least he didn't do a single thing that I thought was stupid, although some were impulsive. Sometimes, though, it’s annoying; he seems overly cautious. It's actually kind of justified, but... it's just not what I want to read at the moment.
I also don't like the romance here. As for the MC, consider it no. Perhaps she will appear further, but for now he treats everyone equally well, without any hint of romantic overtones. Also, I REALLY don’t like the fact that the author gradually sets up a girl who seems to be interested in MC (he’s not interested in her, he’s not interested in anyone) with another guy.
In general, there are a lot of romantic relationships here, but this applies not to the MC, but to its students. And all these relationships are extremely confusing, which I don’t like either.
To sum it up, this book is not too bad, but I think it is more suitable for female readers. These tangled relationships only irritate me. However, everyone has different tastes.
I'm not sure I'll return to this novel, but I'll bookmark it.

The power system is really difficult to understand. The author introduced multiple of them over the chapters but showed no correlation between them or how they scale as compared to the real hero (or the rest of the world).

Bruh f#ck you, I’m Ethiopian and I don’t usually show much pride since I’ve lived in another country most my life but this joke isn’t even funny; it’s just offensive. I don’t even know where I’m supposed to laugh. If it’s a joke make it funny, joking about how they’re starving in another country without even knowing about their circumstances isn’t even a joke. You clearly don’t know anything. Of course if you say Africa as a whole is starving I wouldn’t say anything but singling out Ethiopia is not it

boo its super funny cuz ethiopian government officials are not hungry.

if you're offended, turn it toward your ethiopian government.

not to the one who is stating a fact and turning it to a joke.

also, you should not be offended at all! you should be ashamed of your ethiopian government instead!

Tf what does this have to do with the government. If it said that ok maybe I could understand as a joke but it’s just saying Ethiopians are known for being hungry. Lame ass joke just offensive

Obviously I am, he’s talking shit about my country… twice. You can ignore or laugh when he talks about other countries but if he ignorantly talks shit about my country of course I would be mad, who wouldn’t? And this isn’t even about nationalism, I don’t have much of that, it’s just who would just sit back and watch someone else joke about such a sensitive topic of your country and just laugh. And like I said, the joke isn’t even funny, it’s like he searched up “most offensive jokes” and only picked the darkest ones off the internet without checking to make sure it’s funny
