      True but you have to admit the MC is honestly well made yes? It's all the side characters that are dragging the quality down... I mean our Squid boy has perfectly reasonable logic and actually tries to improve himself and makes very few ignorant mistakes. (Which I find to be depressingly rare in Misunderstanding stories)

    It's fun , hero is an alien soul from advanced magic civilization and occupys the body of f-class hunter. And he can't control his facial expressions so he appears indifferent. That creates misunderstandings and comedy.
