I don't mind reading a story with an MC who is flawed or makes mistakes, as long as it makes sense within the plot. On the other hand, seeing an MC make mistakes that even a child could have avoided due to stupidity, that bothers me.

You know, it's a strange moment when an intelligent or normal MC makes a completely stupid choice without any explanation.

At one point, the MC must infiltrate his enemies' capital to steal an item at the request of an ally. He only has 7 days to do it. Fortunately he succeeded in 2 days, and that's where the problems started.

1. First stupid choice, he wants to stay in the city for the last five days, rather than leaving.

2. Second stupid choice, he decides to enter the challenge tower of the academy without informing him before, suddenly his real name is displayed in front of everyone, proving that he entered the city under a false identity.

3. Third stupid choice, he betrays his only potential ally for no apparent reason by trying to steal the object he was supposed to give her. Knowing that this powerful ally had every reason to fight alongside him and that this ally gave him resources to become stronger. The author makes the excuse of the MC's distrust, but that's just stupidity. There were much smarter ways to do things without unnecessarily annoying his only potential ally.

Result, a steal which should have succeeded and which should have brought the MC closer to his only and powerful ally becomes a fiasco. Not only is he spotted by the whole city, but he endangers the one who gave him the means to infiltrate it while making him an enemy of the only real ally he could have had in his miserable life.

Genius. It's been a long time since I've seen an MC with Down syndrome.

Story starts mc's recollection of past
In earlier chapters mc is innocent and gets killed twice, he gets revived and gets a grieamore of Necromancy, the character development starts in first 5 chapters, the transformation from a naive and innocent kid to a untrusting ruthless kid is quick, some regret and a lot of hatred fuel mc's desire to become strong,he gets stronger fights and kills strong people, there's lot of mystery in the novel, many things are confusing but are slowly getting resolved in later chapters, plot armor is thinck but one reason being his magic related to necromancy and undeath 2nd mc being very talented and hardworking, not all side characters are stupid but there are some annoying and arrogant characters who hinder mc, all in all its a good read

This is the continuation of (divinity: against the godly system). It starts in a new world with none of the old characters until around chapter 600s does the author start bringing them back starting with Janus.

I only read a few chapters of this on Webnovel so don't take this as too serious of a review. From the couple of chapters I read, I do remember being left with the strong impression that the MC was an idiot. It might have gotten better later on and I might've missed a few things but yeah my first impression of this novel wasn't great
