Chapter 1104: In the Domain of Time

Karyk was able to touch the Sword without having to worry about instant death. He stored the Sword back in his spatial storage device.

He unlocked the door after inserting the master code and stepped out of the room. He had finished what he came to do, leaving only one thing left to complete. He had to prepare for the Time Lord.

He walked across the hallway, his body slowly transforming. He shapeshifted into Jalen, the descendant of the Herriet family that owned this ship.

Even Jalen's wounds were perfectly replicated to leave no flaws. Along the way, even his clothes transformed into the clothes that Jalen was wearing.

The moment he stepped inside the control room, almost everyone was looking at him in disbelief. They looked past him, trying to see if Karyk was following him. However, they couldn't see him anywhere.

"Young Lord, did that monster really release you?" The Vice Captain of the Ship asked, slightly surprised that Karyk had released the hostage, letting him roam freely.

"Did you inform the family?" Karyk, still disguised as Jalen, approached the main screen. His fingers moved through the console, trying to check all communications that were sent from the ship.

With the memories of the Captain of this Ship in his mind, he was like a fish in water when it came to controlling the ship. He was able to navigate through everything, and confirmed that there was only one message that was delivered.

The message doesn't say about Jalen being kidnapped, or the ship being under someone else's control. Instead, the message simply stated that it was going to take a longer time for them to return.

When asked for a reason for their later return, the Vice Captain of the Ship simply lied and said that it was because there was a technical snag, which was going to take some time to repair.

Even if the Herriet Family wanted their descendant back as soon as possible, they didn't think it was necessary to send another ship, especially since the Vice Captain of the Ship posed as the main captain and told them that everything was fine here, including the weapon systems.

After going through the history of the communication between the Vice Captain of the Ship and the Herriet Family, Karyk was quite satisfied. It was clear that the man wasn't a fool.

"I-" the Vice Captain felt slightly hesitant to see the Young Lord reading all his lies. "I had no choice but to lie. It was to save your life!"

"You did good." To his surprise, his Young Lord didn't blame him. Instead, he congratulated him for some reason.

For a moment, he couldn't believe his ears. Was the young man complimenting him for lying to the family and preventing any reinforcements? Even if he was confused, he didn't think much about it. As long as the young man was happy, it was good.

"Where is he now?" he asked his young master, curious about Karyk's whereabouts. "If he is distracted, we might consider-"

"Consider escaping?" Karyk asked, walking back to the Captain's Seat. "You don't have to worry about that. Just do as we were told. Take us to the Domain of the Time Lord."

"But if we really mess with the Time Lord..." The Vice Captain frowned.

"Who says we are going there to mess with them? This is simply a friendly visit. Don't think much about it." Karyk answered, not revealing his real identity. If he could fool even his own people, he was confident that he was able to complete his true goal.

Although the Vice Captain was confused, he followed the others. The ship kept going from one warp to another, taking the shortest route to travel across galaxies to reach the Realm of Time Lord.

....

"We are almost there. We will be entering the Domain of the Time Lord. Please be prepared for the docking," the Vice Captain commanded his men while rushing to the main console.

He sent a message to the authorities, telling them that they were from the Herriet Family. However, even he knew that their names didn't hold much value.

"Tell them that Jalen is here to meet the Young Time Lord. Inform them that I have something important to tell the Young Lord."

Normally, it was almost impossible to get authority to enter the time lord's domain as his time was extremely precious. Except for his rare few close friends, almost everyone else was rejected.

This time, it was different. This time they weren't coming to meet the time lord but his son. The son had been a forbidden existence that had remained unknown to most of the world. Even his existence was a mystery.

If it was someone who claimed to know his identity, even the other side knew that it couldn't be anyone simple. They quickly delivered the message to Time Lord's son to confirm the existence of a friend called Jalen.

"A friend? That would be an overstatement. But he was indeed a follower. If he says he has something important to tell me, then let him through," Time Lord's Son responded to the message he had received from the security.

"Is there a problem?" Suddenly, he heard a voice as the time lord looked back at him.

"It's nothing significant. We can continue our discussion," he told his father as the two of them kept walking.

The ship was allowed to pass through the barrier that could even stop a Destroyer Class battleship for a long time.

Multiple ships escorted the ship, guiding him towards the main world of the Time Lord's Domain. The ships docked, and they were told to step out, with many powerful warriors waiting outside to make sure that there was no threat.

"Young Master, will that man not be coming?" The Vice Captain of the ship asked Karyk, still not knowing his true identity.

He was covered in seat at just the sight of the powerful warriors outside. A little mistake and they might have to face something worse than death.

"You don't have to worry about him. Just wait in the ship. I will be the only one going out to meet him." Karyk told the Vice Captain to stay behind and not contact anyone else.

The man wanted to say something, but he knew that it was foolish. If there was truly a threat for Jalen outside, then could he even protect him? It was impossible.

At the realization, he could only stay behind and hope for the best. The only thing that made him glad was that Karyk didn't seem to be going outside.
